Popped in this morning for a coffee and breakfast, it was fabulous! There is just a lovely smell of baked bread from the moment you approach. Shop itself is clean, modern and simple. We had coffee and 3 cheese and spinach pasties (very filling for a single person). Coffee was hot and tasty. The sourdough breads looked stunning! Definitely worth popping in if your in Pambula and need a feed or a coffee!

The lack of customer service and care from the Sheila that served me was made up in the quality of the pie and coffee I decided to sample on this day. Decided to go for the dog’s eye with mushroom drizzled with some dead horse washed down with a piccolo late on this cold winters day. The dogs eye was great! Great fresh pastry, great quality of meat, mushroom and nice rich gravy. I might return some day soon and go revisit to sample another selection of their great pies with hopefully a bit more friendliness.

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to. We were passing through but I would plan a longer trip to Pambula just to visit this bakery again. Great authentic baked goods, pastries, and coffee. The brûlée tarts were a stand out.

We found out about this bakery after visiting the Roastery (coffee) shop a few days earlier. Great bakery with a large selection of breads, pies and pastries. We also had the coffee which was great. Highly recommended for anyone in Pambula or travelling through!

Eaten pies all over Australia and New Zealand and reckon the Chicken and Mushroom pie was the best pie I've ever eaten. Great pastry, lots of filling, big chunks if chicken and field mushrooms. The gravy was hot and thick and very tasty. 5 stars

The coffee is ok however they seem to consistently over heat the milk. So you need 5+ minutes to let it come to a drinkable temperature. I thought it was maybe just the first person that made it but it was pretty it has happened every time. If the milk temperature was right it's 4 star

Simply the most beautiful bread and coffee on the south coast. It’s a must for when you’re in town. Pies and sausage rolls are also gorgeous.

These pies are so good! Best I had so far during my travels in Australia :) They also have a nice coffee spot around the corner of the roundabout

Came to Wild Ryes for lunch today whilst in town! This place was recommended by a colleague and it did not disappoint. Lovely little bakery that appeared to be the local spot for lunch. Huge selection of pies with all your normal verity but so wild cards as well. I had a lamb Rohan Josh pie which was brilliant. Reasonably priced, plenty of room and lovely staff. Highly recommend!

Superb sourdough bread and baguettes. Lots of pastries, although we didn't try any, they looked delicious. We bought pies and ate them there, so good! So much choice it's hard to decide. Great, friendly service. We will be back!

Popped in recently for a late lunch on our way to Merimbula and despite hubby being initially undecided, staff were very helpful and patient and everything tasted great. The pies, including a vegan one, were delicious, as well as the desserts. The location was beautiful also and parking very easy.

Definitely one of the best places to get a great pie, plenty of variety and not an unfair price. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming, although the place can get pretty busy and plenty of items will sell out by the end of the day. The only thing I think that brings them down is their donuts and pastry-based sweets. The few times I've tried them and every time I see them on the counter they've been overcooked resulting in a tough texture and unappetising flavour.

Wow wow - what a great bakery cafe! Stopped by for breakfast and found this place - the cakes / breaks and filled paninis I ate were just glorious! I could have spent the whole day there trying all there cakes ! Coffee was very very good! I will go back and will eat / try a whole lot more next time (+500km drive) but worth it as the quality is outstanding. Oh and the staff were all smiles - even though I got caught on a long phone call! Great food great coffee Nice people 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
