Pinnacles loop walking track in Ben Boyd National Park Visited on 13/3/2021 It was a beautiful sunny day. It was not very hot, just right for me who prefer cooler temperature. The track is 1.1 km which meanders through the woodland. The walk was pleasant and easy. The highlight was the Pinnacles, which could be viewed from two lookout points. It is fascinating as well as spectacular. The Pinnacles consist of cliffs of soft white sands capped with a layer of red gravel clay. They were formed during the Tertiary geological period – up to 65 million years ago.

Thoroughly enjoyed Ben Boyd National Park for the Light to Light hike over 3 days. Quite a gentle hike, however, needing to carry your own gear for a few nights can be a challenge for some. We did the walk from North to south The car shuffle was time consuming to ensure we had cars at the finish line, however we managed to get going in the afternoon. We dropped water at salt water creek to ensure there was some as we were told not to rely on tanks or creeks. In reality there was quite a lot of water available if you purified it, from tanks at salt water but also from creeks which had some flowing water.

It is a great place to visit, we had a great time there. All places there are so beautiful, unfortunately we didn't see any whales there, it is still worth for a trip. We enjoyed hiking, sightseeing. The road to getting there quite rough, a lot of flies, be prepared.

Nice national park. Well kept, nice views and a nice looking campsite on the bay with pretty decent toilets (non flushing). You have to pay $8 per car for using the park even if it’s just for the day. Not a huge amount to see but there were some nice walks and cool looking driving tracks if you were camping for a few days. Pretty tranquil, here in winter, not too many people around.

Haycock point is a great place to scabble over rocks and look in rock pools , there were kangaroos in picnic area. Wear shoes , the slope down once you get to the bottom of the stairs is steep but looks worse than it is! Barmouth beach is a gorgeous cove , beautiful clear, calm water , amazing for a swim , stairs down to beach . Walk to pinnacles is lovely through the bush , either head down to beach ( quite a few stairs ) or track to view pinnacles , easy walk .

Really beautiful walks and beach. The beach was rough and definitely not for swimming. The walking path to get to the beach is lovely with part of it made into a boardwalk. The end has many steep stairs and ends with climbing down some rocks - some of which are slippery. If you're not steady of your feet I wouldn't recommend. For example, my grandparents wouldn't attempt it. Totally fine for anyone else. The sand is squeaky which is fun. I definitely recommend visiting.

Recommend to spend a full day here. Many small walking tracks & look outs - 10-20 mins return. Bring sunscreen, lots of water and snacks!

Situated between Eden and Merimbula, The Pinnacles is a short drive off The Pacific Highway down a dirt road. From the carpark, it's only a 1km loop to see some beautiful coastline and The Pinnacles themselves. Well worth a visit and Pinnacles Beach is quite stunning too. Unfortunately, I never made it onto the beach as one of the locals stopped us in our tracks. Due to drought conditions in much of NSW, the walking track itself was very dry.

A truly wild and magnificent place, we camped at the Bittangabee Bay site for a few days and explored the surrounding areas. Awesome. You will not be disappointed by the scenery or the wildlife, including a couple of lyrebirds who frequent the campground and could often be seen scratching through the leaf litter.

Awesome park, fully booked out over the Australia Day weekend which was a bit annoying. Really recommend the light to light walk. There’s a really nice campground about 5km from Boyds Tower.

We visited the Pambula section, it was really beautiful with lovely walks and wild coastline, and of course the Pinnacles. A very special part of Australia.

Dirt roads (unsealed) lead to the campground. Campsites were large (pre-reserved online beforehand). Quiet and peaceful. Monitor lizards did wander through camp, along with wallaby’s. Pit toilets were available. There was a lovely bay next to the campground for swimming or surfing. And a good track to the Green Cape Lighthouse or to the more northern lighthouse.

North Ben Boyd National Park has great beaches, interesting rock formations and some colorful eroded cliffs in a gully called "The Pinnacles". Haycock Point is beautiful spot with a couple of rock stacks off the headland and lots of bird life. There are always lots of kangaroos on the track out to the headland and they are often resting on the beach as well, sometimes even down near the surf, although they will usually head back into the trees when you go onto the beach. Severs Beach is back up from the mouth of the river. It is a very pretty spot and there is also an aboriginal midden there.
