I love this Studio Everything in this place was clearly created out of passion for excellence . The Owner instructor Maria is such an incredible inspiration. I really love taking her classes. Me, my wife, and my 15 year old daughter had our first Hot Yoga experience here and I’m glad we came to Merrick Hot Yoga. It was very clean, comfortable, friendly, and accommodating to beginners like us. We are recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident and there was enough modifications to get us through the class. It was challenging, but totally worth it. God Bless!

So grateful I found this place close to home! The instructors are respectful, friendly and passionate. The reception is always attentive, warm, and I always feel welcome. Restrooms are immaculate, the studio is truly clean all around. The classes can be challenging, but you can modify poses according to your ability. A ”judgment-free zone”! Merrick hot yoga, this sphere they are very racist , low key. they didn't welcome black folks, i had sign up for a class on Saturday morning 8:00 am to 9:00 am i got there before time 7:21, when i arrive its was only 7 people there ,they are asking me for my name if I had sign up ,they make me wait for 25 minutes to let me know I cannot joining the class, this is the 3rd time that happened. their people just walking in no questions asked, the owner come out pretending like she doesn't know what's going on, (bad business)everyone was looking at me like a (wanted ) mind you, I'm paying $190 a month total that's ($2,280) a year plus other purchases, please don't discriminate my money, I noticed that on Saturday morning the class 8: 00 am to 9:00 am black folks are not welcome in this vicinity, my advice to my people bring your money where you can be feel like a human being and welcome.

The studio is brand new. The teachers are great. The heat and humidity seemed perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone near Merrick. its also close to the train which i like since i can hit a class after work

This is the best yoga in the area. From Denver, I come out 3-4 times a year to visit family. $25 is the most I've ever spent on a yoga class, and I'm a frequent yoga practitioner. Would've given it a 5 🌟 review but they didn't have a water fountain! Whaaa? For such a hot and strenuous class it seems like that would be a safety concern. Yes, I brought my own, but wanted to fill up and drink more before I left. Yes, they have bottles of water to buy, however, after spending $100 (talked into a 5-pack) I wasn't interested in spending any more money. They seem like an established business at this point, 4 years strong, I don't get it.

I took Hot 60 with Pierce last week. I’ve been doing hot yoga for about two months now elsewhere, but I figured I’d try somewhere new. WRONG DECISION. I was not expecting the class to be as hard as it was. Another woman ended up leaving a half hour early, which I respect. Do as much as your body can handle. After class, when I went to thank Pierce for the class, he was speaking with another instructor. That is when he said “Did you see that woman that left halfway through? Like, hoooney, no.” This infuriated me. The practice of yoga is supposed to be peaceful, and connecting body and spirit. How dare Pierce make fun of the woman for not being able to keep up with this high intensity work out. The facility is nice and clean but I will never return. I do not do yoga to be judged by others, ESPECIALLY the instructor.

Excellent Studio. Classes have a consistent quality and excellence. Teachers are professional and the classes are challenging but also fun. Great for all levels.

Having been at the MHY studio for four years, I take a class every day unless I am out of town. I have done every type of class offered with every instructor who has taught there in the past four years. My practice has improved markedly as I have learned to do many astimas that were difficult years ago. I enjoy the challenges of the classes in MHY. There are no easy classes, just do your own level and perform as best you can. I enter all contests and have gotten First Place in October 2019 and April 2021. You could say MHY has helped me grow physically and mentally and the instructors are all superb. Thanks to Mary Kalwiss who strongly motivated me to shift from gym yoga to hot yoga at MHY. My classmates are all special people and I feel the students at MHY offer a warm, friendly and compassionate comraderie rarely found at most gyms. Having done all forms of yoga for many years at gyms, studios and adult education, my experience over four years and 1500 hot classes for an excellent workout has been best at MHY.

That was a great experience! Friendly staff. Helped prepare my mat ahead of time as work finished later than expected. Great vibes. Most importantly the exercises were challenging but doable. I felt clarity afterward, and toned up muscles. I will go back again sometime!

My favorite community & first stop whenever I get off the plane to visit home. I’ve been coming here since they opened and love to see the positive growth. As a former work study member, I can also say they treat their staff well and it’s like a family. The hot Pilates class is my favorite workout on the planet. 🙏🏽

Convenient studio I've attended a dozen times. Its clean, structured, and professional. Its smaller than other studios but so are the classes. I've had good experiences. I bounce between Merrick and Carle Place depending on scheduling. I'd recommend it to others. Looking forward to resuming when it gets cooler out

I usually don't leave reviews, but I had to write one for Merrick Hot Yoga. I mean... everything about this place is amazing. Everybody is very friendly and staff is super professional and friendly as well. Classes are amazing and the instructors always push you whenever you feel like giving up. The place is always clean and it is so peaceful. Keep up the good work!
