I gave it 4 stars because my daughter loves it here however spent $20 on the food for two adults and one child and was the nasty thing I ever tasted. I suppose it's because the staff is made up of young teenagers who probably can care less about how the food taste

great walking trail all the way around the lake I go there to fish for largemouth bass i catch and release and there is also crappie and bluegill and I believe they are white bass I've seen them but never caught one I Know alot of people are keeping fish they are not supposed to which is definitely messing up the population wish they would have DNR out there more checking sizes and limits because people are talking alot of bass they shouldn't be there was great largemouth bass fishing but it's definitely going down hopefully they will step in and stop all the illegal fish keeping

This is a great place for kids to play and have fun. They have many different activities for the kids. Occasionally Bellaboo appears for entertainment. It's good to play with your child or grandchild so you don't get bored. Great place for birthday parties too. Highly recommend for toddlers and youths.

This is a close to home, great park for picnics, renting a boat, fishing, walk/jog, or stroll, ... The county employees are an xcellent staff, of everyday type folks that are very amiable, ... Yet do not linger, as they have much work to get done, ... The fishing, ehh, was ok, I guess, but could be better, ... But funding is probably shorter on the budget than it could be, ... I enjoyed 4 weekends there, (summer of 2015), & spent most of my time on the water, ... The only complaint, or undesirable moment I had was when the trolling motor battery died on me, & I had to row back, ... They apologized not only for the inconvenience, but also have made it up to me enormously, the staff has helped with my gear, as I am a disabled veteran, & were on top of prepping the boats rented, ... Others can say what they want, but I enjoyed the time spent there enormously!

Growing up here and watching the transformation from unused swamp to a beautiful park was great. Definitely a place to have a relaxing picnic type of day!

Bridge in pictures is not part of the park. You cannot launch private boats and fishing lacked luster.

Quiet, secluded fishing difficult takes much patience. Overall decent park.

👍👍 Wow great hike to the beach and back! Beautiful old oak savannas and small lagoons, and one really large lagoon - who knew! Then … the beach! Fantastic all year round. We then stopped at 18th St Brewery for a perfect finish to an excellent day hiking
