I have had three contracts with this Rent a Center in Blue Island. I have been a customer since 2012. I have seen a high turnover rate. The only person working there is the manager Pat, but the entire staff is new. I am so fed up because, as of today, I have a balance of $215.00 left on my contract. I told the female representative last week on the 9th that I would make a double payment today, 16th. She HAS CALLED ME EVERY DAY SINCE I SPOKE WITH HER ABOUT MY PAYMENT. WHY. I said that WE ALREADY HAVE A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT SCHEDULED. WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME every day? I hate the customer service experience. They have never had any issues with them trying to receive a payment from me. I have a clean history and a good track record, so why the harassment over the end of the contract for $200. Do you honestly think at this point I am going to skip out on paying my bill???? We are in the middle of a pandemic, and I have been able to continue to pay this bill off. I would not recommend them to anyone. I will Never do business with Rent a Center again. This was the WORST mistake of my life. This staff is so unprofessional, Inconsiderate, mean, nasty, rude, and all-around Horrible with their customer service. I dislike this staff and will not recommend this business to anyone because number one, they will harass you by calling every day, number two they will talk to you rudely and unprofessional, and lastly, they do not care if you have had a death, laid off or in the middle of a global pandemic they will call, call, call, and call

This is the worst store I ever dealt with. They have poor customer service skills, and poor communication skills. If I can take it all back I would’ve never did business with these people. I’ve been waiting on my mirror for my dresser almost two months now. I never missed a payment or nothing and these people have the nerve to give me the run around.. To bad I can’t give them negative stars!!!

This store is very great to do business with they have very great customer service and the employees go way above and beyond the call of duty to help out and make sure you get the products that you desire and want as well as give you great options of paying for your rental. I love this store. The management and staff are a blessing to the community. I give a Bravo Zulu, to this store and management, please keep up the good work in all that you do.

Rented out a Nintendo Switch from here, the store was nice and clean. The service was fast and also friendly! I was in the fence about having to make payments, but they’re employee William insured me they are very flexible and would work with me. I will definitely be back again soon! Thanks guys

I haven't been in a Rent a Center in years. I'm was use to being treated like I'm at a car dealership. Either completely ignored or pushed into the most expensive item in the place. Not the Calumet Park Rent A Center. These people gave me plenty of time to look around before talking to me. Once that started I never felt pushed into any one direction. It was nice and refreshing to see. Great experience overall

Been dealing with this store for a year and I have always had good experiences with them. Rhonda is the sweetest associate! This girl goes far & beyond to assist a customer. They keep me coming back! 02/02/2019 this store has truly changed. I went from loving the store and staff to disliking them. The are the most rudest individuals I have met. Since I fell behind on payments they treated me like nothing. I ended up returning mh bedroom set and my tv. I can't allow anybody to treat me with so much disrespect. These people broke my door and when I called to report it nobody has followed up on the issue. The guys were so ruff with removing the items I later noticed where they hit the wall and scrapped the paint off the edges. It truly sadden me because I have paid items off and got other stuff and to be treated the way they did is not cool.

Patrica has a great team they are wonderful ❤ Charles, laronda, and nubia . understanding cleanst so happy with them good customer service, I really appreciate them especially when i wasn't working they understood that. Rude people 😒 so Disrespectful they drop there dryer on my foot and they laugh about it they broke the tile on my floor my family and I NEVER going back If I had a choice I would of give them 0 STARS

The Rent A Center in the Calumet Park location has excellent customer service. The store Manager and the Assistant Manager are awesome. I would recommend the Calumet Park Rent A Center to anyone looking for furniture!

Got approved 2 days ago placed my order for a refrigerator soon after online no call back called the next day was put on hold the call returned to whom picked up the phone he then ask "didn't I just put you on hold"? I say yes I get put on hold a moment later a young lady picks up ask me my name and placed me on hold and never returned to the call I made the call at 5:45pm and I guess since they close at 6pm the decided that taking care of my issue was important smh doesn't matter now I've found what I needed through Fingerhut...The customer several there is very bad and it's sad because I stay right around the corner

The couch came dirty and no one came to clean it as promised by the store manager and Mara the sales rep. She verbally told me the beds were new but my agreement says used.
