Thankfully,
I
did
not
see
this
doctor
or
staff
as
the
inappropriate,
unprofessional,
and
disrespectful
phone
communication
with
both
Dr.
Senese
and
her
staff
was
enough
to
steer
clear
from
this
place.
One
would
think
that
a
patient,
particularly
a
patient
who
is
unable
to
advocate
or
communicate
for
themselves
would
be
treated
with
kindness
and
compassion,
not
harassment
-
but,
that
is
not
the
case
here.
As
an
advanced
practice
nurse,
I
called
to
inquire
about
cortisone
shots
for
arthritic,
senior
dogs.
The
"receptionist"
reported
that
"Dr.
Senise
does
not
give
cortisone,
she
gives
a
steroid
shot
instead".
Hmm?
Cortisone
is
a
steroid,
but
okay.
I
went
on
to
share
that
I
completed
the
"contact
us"
form
on
their
website
and
left
a
message,
but
I
had
not
heard
back.
The
receptionist
was
more
concerned
about
when
I
left
the
phone
message
or
completed
the
"contact
us"
form,
than
the
reason
I
was
calling.
She
began
to
explain
that
there
are
visiting
doctors
and
other
doctors
who
"come
and
go"
so
she
is
not
sure
where
the
email
went
but
she'll
try
to
figure
it
out.
I
explained
that
I
did
not
need
her
efforts
to
be
wasted
trying
to
figure
out
their
internal
communication
processes
with
me
on
the
phone,
but
that
I
needed
assistance
with
a
cortisone
shot
for
my
elderly
dog.
Hours
later
I
then
receive
a
call
from
Dr.
Senise.
She
also
seemed
overly
concerned
about
the
"contact
us"
form
stating
that
she
does
not
have
a
website.
I
explained
that
there
IS
A
WEBSITE
with
her
address
and
the
phone
number.
I
further
explained
that
if
she
were
to
"google"
the
information,
she
would
find
it
for
herself.
I
explained
that
if
I
treated
my
human
patients
the
way
that
she
treats
her
canine
parents,
this
is
not
a
good
fit.
Dr.
Senise
agreed
and
hung
up.
Any
doctor
who
cannot
or
will
not
be
accountable
to
others
does
not
belong
in
the
industry
of
care
-
for
humans
or
canines.
God's
best
to
you
and
your
staff,
Dr.
Senise.
You
may
want
to
work
on
that
bedside
manner.
