Hotel
check
in
is
at
3PM.
We
arrived
a
little
after.
I
was
informed
when
we
arrived
that
the
room
was
not
ready,
but
it
would
only
be
a
short
while
before
it
was.
We
waited.
Noticing
there
were
multiple
families
also
sitting
around
waiting
we
inquired
at
the
desk
after
an
hour
of
waiting
how
much
longer
it
would
be.
The
front
desk
person
got
nasty
with
my
wife
and
then
offered
a
different
type
of
room
which
we
were
not
interested
in.
I
then
called
the
Hilton
Honors
line
as
a
diamond
member
to
figure
out
what
they
could
do
for
us
as
we've
been
traveling
all
day
and
exhausted.
They
weren't
able
to
get
through
to
the
front
desk.
Another
hour
passes
by
and
I
call
the
Hilton
Honors
line
again.
He
puts
me
on
hold
and
then
tells
me
the
front
desk
person
got
nasty
with
him
and
hang
up.
We
were
finally
placed
in
a
room.
The
A/C
didn't
work,
the
room
was
poorly
made,
and
it
smelled.
We
advised
the
front
we
would
be
leaving
and
they
tell
us
that's
fine
but
we're
being
charged
for
the
room.
I
admittedly
lost
my
temper
but
rightfully
so.
We
went
across
the
parking
lot
to
Homewood
and
got
right
in,
at
a
great
rate,
and
comfortable
room.
I've
never
had
an
issue
like
this
with
the
Hilton
brand
but
it
was
a
disaster.
A
little
honesty
would
have
went
a
long
way
from
the
beginning.
