Okay,
we'll
do
the
great
and
then
the
not
great.
The
great:
1.
Sam
at
the
front
desk.
Absolutely
amazing
and
the
only
reason
for
a
five
star
review.
He
should
💯
be
the
manager
of
this
location,
and
possibly
the
CEO
of
the
entire
Marriott
corporation.
Dude
knows
about
customer
service
and
it
shows!
2.
The
bar
is
decent.
3.
The
location
is
convenient
with
plenty
of
parking.
Now,
the
not
great:
1.
The
hotel
is
advertised
as
beachfront.
It
is
absolutely
not
beachfront.
There
are
two
public
tennis
courts,
two
other
hotels
and
a
major
highway
between
this
hotel
and
the
beach.
You
can't
even
see
the
beach
from
this
hotel.
2.
The
hotel
is
on
the
older
side
and
could
desperately
use
some
maintenance
and
upgrading
for
the
price
you
pay
per
night.
Our
room
had
one
drawer
plus
a
few
hangers
in
the
closet
for
storing
our
clothes
(we're
a
family
of
four,
planning
on
staying
three
nights).
Also,
I'm
pretty
sure
some
artwork
was
missing
from
the
wall,
because
there
were
just
picture
hooks
on
the
wall,
but
no
picture.
3.
The
Junior
Suites
with
two
queen
beds
and
a
sofa
bed
do
not
have
an
outside
window.
They
overlook
the
surf
shop
downstairs
and
have
no
source
of
natural
light.
This
was
not
advertised
on
the
website.
4.
The
pool
is
completely
covered,
which
(again)
was
not
advertised
and
presents
a
huge
problem
for
those
who
want
to
bask
in
the
sun
for
a
while.
Also,
the
pool
and
hot
tub
area
desperately
need
maintenance
and
attention.
Both
bathrooms
are
out
of
order
and
looked
like
they
had
been
for
quite
some
time.
No
family
is
going
to
pack
up
and
go
back
inside
the
hotel
when
their
kid
needs
to
use
the
bathroom,
so
guess
where
everyone
is
peeing?
😳😳
Yep.
Exactly.
The
hot
tub
was
filled
with
algae?
Mold?
Not
sure,
but
I
am
sure
it
hadn't
been
cleaned
in
a
long
while.
The
website
makes
it
look
like
a
great
place
(thanks
to
the
power
of
the
internet),
but
things
are
clearly
falsely
advertised
(definitely
not
a
beach
front
hotel),
or
conveniently
missing
details
(pool
is
covered,
some
rooms
don't
have
an
outside
window
with
natural
light,
etc).
All
of
these
things
may
not
be
a
big
deal
for
some,
but
had
we
known
about
the
misrepresentations
up
front,
we
wouldn't
have
booked
this
hotel.
We
ended
up
staying
one
night,
canceling
our
other
two
nights
and
moved
to
another
Marriott
brand
hotel
up
the
road
-
all
is
well!
