Stayed here the night before going on a cruise. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfy, and the location was great. It was a very short drive to the port. Will definitely be back next time we cruise from Port Canaveral.

Great customer service(the front desk was friendly, professional, caring, understanding) they even informed us that we could leave our car there ofcourse for a cheaper fee than leaving where we were going to park for our cruise. They also advised use to use Uber, which was cheaper than taking the shuttle which would have been expensive for a family of 5. I would definitely stay here again. Oh... breakfast was fresh and nice. A++++ guys...

The front desk staff was satisfactory with customer service. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. Very Musty smell in room. Rust on inside of tub and other metal parts in bathroom. The exterior of building where the air conditioner vent is located has an excessive amount of red-brown drainage. Oh, then the facility charges $10.70 for the privilege of parking at the hotel. ‘No Thank you’ Not staying there again!

We chose this hotel based on the pictures from their website and some of the good reviews we read online...but mostly because they had availability on the days we were in Cape Canaveral. Unfortunately, I believe the ladies who work the evening shift at the front desk have never been properly trained in customer service. They don't seem to enjoy their jobs. There is a gentleman that works the front desk during the day, and he was very helpful, but sadly the same ladies worked both evenings we were there and were terrible ambassadors for the hotel brand. It wasn’t just me and my family either…as I stood in line, I watched them be dismissive and uncaring with other families as well. Moving on… the breakfast was not good...even for a complimentary meal. The area where you get your food was messy, and the seating areas were full of leftover trash and discarded items from the guests there before us. Our room was clean, but very humid, and it took the AC several hours to lower the room temp 2 degrees. Also, I haven’t checked to see if this is standard locally, but we were charged $10.00 per night to park our car in their lot. This might be a quick stop for you, but I would avoid if possible. There are several hotels in the same area, and we should have selected one of the others.

Great & fast checkin. Good staffing & friendly service over a week’s stay. Decent housekeeping. Pretty good daily breakfast with good assortment of condiments for hot oatmeal. 2 waffle stations. Carpark out front is limited if returning late but back lots plenty. Nice pool & fire pit right outside the breakfast dining area. Good security with all doors requiring room card to access including the laundromat with 8 washers & 8 dryers. $2 for 1/2 hr run for either. Decent size gym; good upkeep 👍🏼

Staying before a cruise, Camilla was front desk fantastic! Welcoming and so kind, we never stayed on the first floor of a hotel, she asked if it was okay, sure! First time on first floor and love it! Rooms are clean and look recently refurbished. Will be staying here again in 2 weeks. Yes there are newer properties but we feel like we were greeted as family by Camilla, prices fair just wish the parking wasn't extra. We will be repeat guests for sure. Very solid choice.

Our go to pre cruise and sometimes post cruise. Updated and clean rooms and common spaces. We like the one-bedroom suite option. Several restaurants close by on the water. Good breakfast included with your stay.

Pullout bed is not appropriate to sleep on, mattress was stained and dirty and extremely thin. When we discovered the stains It was late at night, so we made do by folding it back up and having our daughter sleep on the couch instead. When I nicely brought this up to the front desk the next day, the employee challenged me and asked why I wouldn’t have called that night. I explained to her that it was very late and we made do, however I wanted to bring this to her attention and I wasn’t looking for a discounted rate or perks thrown in. She seemed “put off” that I brought it to their attention . Then had to ask for extra towels, again late at night and they brought us pillows instead. Had a chuckle at that. To top it off, my daughter was having a shower, noticed that we had two body washes in the dispensers instead of a shampoo- we called down to get shampoo. The employee insisted that he go into the bathroom to change it- we told him our daughter was in the shower, he wasn’t going to provide us with the shampoo unless he installed it. We convinced him otherwise. Hotel was okay but came with some hiccups and an unprofessional employee.

Love staying here for work. Only reason for 4star is all my colleagues liked the social hour the Residence used to hold. Was great for team building and getting to know each other. According to the staff, they are doing away with it. The social was one main reason to chose the Residence over other hotels, maybe time to look at others.

Great hotel located close to cruise ship terminals, free breakfast & business center. Room was clean and modern, parking was close by. There was a parking fee, so be advised in advance. We had a Tesla with us, there is one charger in the back if needed

My Wife and I stayed here one night during my honeymoon. Beth made sure everything went perfectly, and the lady from housekeeping made the room very very nice. Beth took the time to note all my needs and requests weeks before our reservation, she not only made sure all my requests were met, but she exceeded my expectations!

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was pretty much just waffles, they didn’t have much else to offer. The only real grip I have is the ludicrous basketball court right out side our room. We were woken very early to the sound of thumping basketballs and yelling. 🤷🏻‍♂️ make sure room is away from the court.

The pull out bed was sway back. Very thin mattress that was uncomfortable. It was hard to get out of. They didn't have additional bedding or mattress pads to make it better. The bathroom was situated so that you had to go directly past people in the bed to get to it. The kitchen area was nice. There was no one at the front desk much of the time. The breakfast area was very crowded and there was no bacon. I would not return to this hotel.

Make sure that you understand that your reservation is non-refundable, even if it doesn't tell you that. I had to cancel my one night trip and they would not refund my payment or give me a credit for another stay in the future, I cancelled this 2 months prior to travel. Once I found out that they would not provide a refund, I told them that I wanted to keep the reservation . They told me that I would have to rebook and pay for the night again because my other reservation was cancelled. I am a top-tier Marriott Bonvoy member and they were unwilling to work with me let me cancel or make any changes to my reservation. Marriott corporate said it is up to the Owner of each location, this is the first Owner to ever not refund. If it was last minute I would understand, that was not the case. I plan on spending a week at Cocoa Beach next summer, however, I will not stay at the Residence Inn Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach!

Stayed one night after our cruise, booked a 1 King Bed Suite. There were 4 of us in our party (me, wife and 2 kids) and the room was very spacious for us, very happy with the room overall. Complimentary breakfast was great, lots of variety and stayed open long enough to allow folks to get something. (believe it was open until 9:30AM the morning we left, but weekends I think it is open until 10AM) The room was kept very clean, although you can tell a bit of the age from the bathroom (showers/tub was quite dated), could use some updating, but otherwise no real complaints on the room. The suite came with a full kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, sink, etc.) was a pleasant surprise to see. The proximity of this hotel to the cruise terminal is fantastic, cost us $9.00USD for an Uber ride from the terminal to the hotel. Would recommend anyone looking for a short stay before/after their cruise to look at this spot!

The location is fair, especially if you’re going to on a cruise. The property itself is not great. After checking in, we went to put groceries away in our small kitchen & found open liquor bottles above the microwave! There was also left over food in the sink disposal 🤢. We stay at many Marriott properties as longtime bonvoy members but this property is definitely overpriced for the amenities and service. The free breakfast is carb fueled so if you want something healthy, go down the street to a local restaurant. Need a snack? Their market is not only over priced but extremely lacking to the point it was comical… We had an issue with rowdy kids taking over the pool & the front desk said they couldn’t do anything. We used points to stay here while visiting family who are locals, we’ve told them not to recommend the property to their guests and will not be staying here when we return. Checkout the Springhill or TownePlace suites just around the corner for quality and proper management. We expressed our frustrations and disappointment, especially having used nearly 70k in points in redemption to stay here and only were met with a response that they will try to do better 🤔🙄

Absolutely love this property. I’m a Travel Advisor & this is the only location I book my clients to stay at. It’s close to the port & the 2 Bedroom Suites are perfect for Family & Friends. Everything is so wonderful.

We stayed for a night before a cruise. Service was awesome. Breakfast was perfect. The hotel is 1 mile from the port. Do yourself a favor and skip the hotel shuttle and take an uber. Hotel charges $12pp to go 1 mile. Uber for 6 was $15 with a tip. Parking is $10/day and $18/day a the port. Not sure how safe it is to leave your car but there is a high end car rental place in the front of the hotel so that may mean it's safe.

Excellent room and service. The location was just okay, but great for the space coast. The front counter team really made my trip special by working with me on check in.

Perfect place to stay if your going on a cruise. But I would like to mention, parking in the cruise garage is cheaper than the shuttle, and...you don't have to wait 2 hrs to get picked up. Nothing against the hotel though. It's not their shuttle service. The hotel was great!

I was quite surprised by this hotel at this price point. Very fairly priced, larger sized rooms with a full kitchen. Would definitely recommend staying here. The continental breakfast was delicious too!

Residence Inn Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach - 3.6/5 General Hotel Rating - 4/5 All basic and expected amenities are available. There is plentiful well-lit parking as well as a pool, gym, and basketball court. The design is pleasant - upscale beachy. The pool a little nicer than expected but not resort quality. There is only one ice machine and don't trust the laundry detergent dispensers to have detergent even if they don't show empty. Breakfast - 4/5 The options provided are on par with what you would find at other Marriott properties that provide breakfast. There are several hot and cold options and some variety from day-to-day. The coffee is good! Staff - 5/5 Everyone we interacted with, from front desk to maintenance to breakfast services, were very friendly and helpful. Maintenance was very quick to respond to a request. Room - 3/5 Room layouts were nice. The kitchen had all basic appliances, and all seemed to be working and functioning well. Specifically in regards to the two bedroom suite, I would have liked to have seen a king and 2 queen layout option. The sofa bed looked very uncomfortable (plastic feeling) and looked cheap. The TV's needed to be updated. You have to Hulk-smash remote control buttons to get them to work. The bathrooms have good lighting, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bar soap. However, the choice of where to put the mounted bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall of the shower was very inconvenient. They are placed directly in the middle of the back wall rather high up. Every time you lift your arms to wash your hair etc. you hit them. The water pressure is good. The mattresses are okay; have a bit of a dip and are pretty soft. Cleanliness - 2/5 The inner shower curtain liner snaps off for easy change between guests. Ours clearly had not been replaced as there were boogers all over it. Underneath the bed corner was a pile of crumbs from crackers or pretzels, or something similar, indicating a lackluster vacuuming job. Further, there were cob web ls in the corner of the room. Overall, it felt like things could have been wiped down a little better. The linen seemed clean, and overall, the kitchen seemed clean. Generally, throughout the hotel, things seemed neat and tidy enough to be at least average. The pool seemed to be clean and in good repair. Finally, trash left out in the hallways was promptly removed. Overall, we would stay here again and recommend it to others. Rating Scale 5 - Exceptional 4 - Above Average 3 - Average 2 - Below Average 1 - Unacceptable

Nice clean hotel perfect for a stay before our cruise. I wouldn’t want to sleep on the pull out couch as it was a pretty thin mattress (pretty standard though I believe). We got a car for a part of our stay but easily could have not. The pool & fire pit area is nice and the rooms were clean. Loved it had a kitchenette with full fridge. Complimentary breakfast was good. Kids love a waffle machine. Clean and convenient. The best part of this stay was the front desk staff named Ginny. She went above and beyond for us and it was very appreciated! She was so nice and friendly from the moment she greeted us.

This newer RI has much smaller rooms than others I have enjoyed. The breakfast was more limited in that lacked walnuts or pecans and no plain or Greek yogurt. On the plus side the staff was helpful, there was a very good fitness room with cardio and weights and a nice pool and hot tub.

Customer service! Ginny, Kim and the bartender were the best! Ginny went out of her way to help us cancel our Orlando reservation spontaneously so that we could stay another night after our cruise to go to Cocoa Beach instead. She is the real deal! Promote her or give her a raise!

surprisingly pleasant experience. Quick check in service. clean installations. room was clean, modern and fairly quiet. the ac was a bit loud or i'm not used to it blasting. I did not like people smoking in the public areas near the pool and near the patio area.

Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff was very attentive. The location is perfect if you're visiting Cape Canaveral or sailing out of Port Canaveral. It was everything I would expect from a Marriott property.

Not too sure. Checked in but they don't have a room ready yet, it's now 4:20, check-in is at 4. We got a room after getting back in line and getting a different associate. In @ 4:50. Nice room. Great pool.

Hotel was ok, wouldn’t recommend though for the price, rooms were outdated tile in bathroom was gross looking, only two towels in the room, doors go into the hotel to get to our room didn’t work and we were told to use those doors, only one ice machine for the entire hotel even though they have signs still up that say ice machine on different floors, and residence in breakfast used to be the BEST no because they say if “covid” and want “healthier options” they only serve frozen foods that get microwaved I was speechless especially when your paying the same price if not more a night now. And bar and snack area for pool was closed due to “covid”
