Newly renovated hotel on the beach where most rooms have limited views of the ocean. The workout room is nice, and the kids liked the game room with air hockey. The prices are high for the breakfast buffet and the $12 credit that Hilton now gives for Diamond members is extremely disappointing. The prices at the convenience store are very high for beverages and snacks. The laundry is also $4 per load, which is extremely high. I felt extremely taken advantage of with all of these high expenses! The pool area is nice, but the pool is small and I am surprised they didn't make the pool much bigger since they just remodeled. All of the associates that we interacted with were nice. The rooms didn't have microwaves. The wall AC was inconsistent. It was very cold and froze the person next to it, or if you raised the temp two degrees you would be sweating at night. There are several restaurants within two miles. Small balcony as well.

I would have liked to rate this hotel higher. Check-in was not very friendly. But the worst part was I paid extra for a partial ocean view, and I wouldn't call looking out over the parking lot and the roof of the entrance a partial ocean view. There was a sliver of blue that could barely be seen. Also, if you are chemical sensitive, don't stay here. The smell of (new construction perhaps) was so strong I had a migraine that night and all day the next day and a bad taste in my mouth. Note to those that may book "full ocean view" - these rooms are right over the (small) pool, so they would be noisy (there was also a DJ who was very loud that played a couple of hours). On the positive side, I loved the design of the room, floor plan, there was lots of storage, and it was spacious. Again, wish it would have been better in other respects. Some may not have the problems I had. Location is great. There is a private walk out to the beach, which is very nice.

We stayed here as a quiet getaway for the evening since we are in Orlando we knew the area. This hotel is amazing. The staff amazing. We brought our dog who was treated like a king and the rooms are very accommodating to pets. We were able to relax the hotel was clean and well organized and anytime we plan to have a getaway it will be at this hotel. Highly recommend!!! Good hotels are hard to find anymore that are well ran and pamper you during your stay..I donā€™t even want to leave a review in fear our secret gem will be discovered but the public needs to know..this is where you should stay if coming to cocoa beach. Attached was the guest of honor Jake.

First of all, I did not want to write a review but have no choice. Continually calling Hilton Doubletree Cocoa Beach because they charged our account twice. Nobody will return my calls and they say they are to busy with other guests. Well guess what, we were a paying guest. I have been overcharged by $1,600.00 Canadian Dollars. If you want any kind of service this is not the hotel for you. The front desk needs to learn hospitality all over again, the staff is nice but not trained. The general manager should oversee this. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the location on the beach is great and the rooms are good. But again, after a 3 night stay no one asked if we needed anything. I have spent $60.00 Canadian just calling them. Finally left a message for Kim. Still no reply. I would like the double charge reversed please.

I was a bit skeptical about this hotel reading all the reviews. Many reviewers said the rooms are very old, unclean, staff were not too helpful, partial ocean view hotel did not have a view, did not have a balcony etc. But because of the price (comparatively cheaper than other similar hotels in the area), I anyway booked it and was not expecting anything good. But I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very good and clean. Good sized. I was in a partial ocean view room (no 317). It had a good view of the ocean and a balcony. It is quite good and I enjoyed a cuppa in the morning and evening sitting in the balcony. It had a good direct beach access. The beach near the hotel was good and not crowded at all which is good! Only negative probably is that the pool is too small. If you want to spend time in the pool, certainly this is not for you. You are gonna bump into someone.

The customer service at this hotel is amazing! Jason made our vacation so much better and deserves a promotion! I would recommend booking one of the oceanfront rooms. It is worth spending more money to wake up to the sunrise off the ocean right outside your balcony. The ocean front room also had updated showers vs the partial ocean view rooms did not. The partial view rooms overlook the hotel driveway and parking lot and in my opinion are not worth the cost. The pool is very small but we spent most of our time on the beach. It was nice to have the pool bar to grab drinks from. The hotel was very clean and recently updated.

The reason we came to Cocoa Beach is because of a leisure and work trip. I also wanted to bring my dog to the beach. On the way to my destination, Cocoa Beach is my only choice, and so this was the only Hilton that was pet friendly. The dog beach access from the hotel is 3 miles away. The hotel still continues to make improvements that they should have done way before opening. We asked for an oceanfront room. The 2nd day we were there the maintenance people were on the roof drilling around 7am and you could see them from the balcony. Our room didn't have a microwave, and the fridge didn't have a freezer.Ā  TheyĀ  had an ice-maker across from our room and a shared microwave. They should put a door for that room because whenever someone was getting the ice, especially at night, it is very loud. They also charge $12 each night for parking. Does not have room service at this hotel and no complimentary breakfast. My boyfriend and I always use the Marriott but except Marriott in Cocoa Beach is not pet friendly so we decided on Hilton but I was really disappointedĀ  with the services and offerings. During check out day the hotel front desk was unfriendly. They asked how was the stay and just being honest we complained about the maintenanceĀ  at 7am in front of the balcony we can't even sit at the balcony drink a cup.of coffee. No freezer to freeze the ice-pack for the cooler, no free parking for your hotel with a big empty parking lot. If you paid over $300 room rate I think it is ridiculous.

We visited July 4th weekend 2023. Modern finishes throughout the hotel including the rooms. Rooms were spacious & the toiletries were high quality. Menu at the hotel restaurant, The Starlight, had a lot of options and the food & service were great. There is an indoor bar & an outdoor poolside patio bar. There was a blues band playing at the pool on the Saturday that we were there & the patio gets quite lively both during the day & at night. The hotel also has itā€™s own beach and rents umbrellas & chairs. We spent at least an hour bobbing in the ocean since it was so warm & an ice cream vendor came by on the beach. The fitness center was fairly large for a hotel & the equipment was in good condition. There is plenty of room to do yoga & the floors are cushioned with mats. There are brand new LG washers & dryers that take credit cards to manage all the sweaty & sandy clothes. There is a video game room for the kids. This is probably the best hotel of this type/price point that Iā€™ve stayed at and Iā€™ve done a lot of traveling both for work & my daughtersā€™ sports tournaments. I would like to come back & stay again. Next time I will plan much further in advance & get a room with a beach view.

Older hotel being refurbished. Elevator stopped working not ideal with how busy the hotel was. Small bathroom. You can hear your neighboring rooms and hallway noise , but it was clean and good for an overnight trip. The room size was decent and the staff definitely made the difference!! Great customer service!! The view was not as partial as advertised. Most of the hotel views other buildings and could be considered disappointing.

Just got done the worst cruise experience of my life. Left ship @6:30am and found this amazing hotel and restaurant with wonderful staff. Whoever is working today at front desk these 2 ladies accommodated me and I didnā€™t even stay here. They welcomed me and my wife with waters, free towels for beach and a positive attitude. I am blessed that they helped us out after having a bad week, they helped us store luggage temporarily while our Uber came for the airport @1. For 6 hours they allowed us to do way more than I ever imagined. The front desk staff needs a raise and I am so grateful for them taking care of me while I spent $1000 extra trying to figure out my previous cruise expenses. Thank you Hilton garden inn. Your beach access is short and umbrella staff and chairs were great only $25 for the whole day. What a steal, God bless you all

This hotel is a great location and easy access to the beach. The rooms were clean and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Loved the pool and the bar. Especially Joe the bartender. Great vibe! The staff was amazing! Great customer service from the ladies at the front desk each morning & the barista already knew my order šŸ˜€ Such an amazing time! Made my mom happy while she was celebrating her birthday.

This is a nice hotel šŸØ, the staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the inside bar staff was nice. The outside bar staff, well, that was a bit of a different story. We only spent one night there as we were on our journey to somewhere else. But it was a decent stop. We found the large chairs in the lobby uncomfortable so we moved to the regular chair at a table, even thought they were not serving at the time, no one seemed to mind that we sat there.

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cocoa Beach and was deeply disappointed by the experience. The first thing I noticed was the lack of warmth from the lobby staff. Their unfriendly demeanor, often avoiding eye contact, and apparent disinterest in assisting guests set a negative tone for the stay. The room itself, a king oceanfront, was adequate but did not justify the price paid. The aging building, with its slow elevators, contributed to a less-than-ideal stay. The onsite restaurant failed to impress as well, especially when room service required us to pick up our order instead of delivering it to the room ā€“ a basic expectation at such establishments. One of the more surprising aspects was the lack of basic amenities and services. Simple requests like an extra towel from the concierge felt like a gamble, with no assurance of receiving it. Additionally, beach chairs were not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt rather nickel-and-diming, considering the hotelā€™s location and pricing. Another point of contention was the towel policy for the beach. The hotelā€™s approach of counting and requiring guests to sign for beach towels felt overly stringent and somewhat unwelcoming. Overall, this was the least satisfactory experience Iā€™ve ever had at a Hilton Garden Inn. The combination of poor service, average facilities, and additional costs for standard amenities was far from what I expected. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvements in the future.

My daughter and I spent the night last week for a little girls trip getaway. It was great, everyone was very polite and the food at the restaurant was amazing! Loved the coconut rice. Our waitress, Lori, was the best. It was like meeting an old friend haha. She really made our stay. We canā€™t wait to come back!

The staff is very nice and they say "good morning." The rooms are covered in sand. The shower drain is clogged with it. There are two LEDs on the smoke alarm above the bed that flashes brightly every 20-30 seconds. It feels like a prison environment. The elevator broke down and people were stuck in there yesterday. The elevators are over-worked. Since there is no room service, the Star-Lite restaurant is the only option. The service was poor when ordering at the host station. It took 45 minutes one day and today the coffees were forgotten. There needs to be a better attention to detail.

Wayne at the front desk was very accommodating and made sure everything was taken care of properly for my stay. Extremely helpful and accommodating front desk service for check in/out. The resort itself has been renovated and is a great oasis from the heat. The location is right on the beach and you have access to tons of amenities. If you donā€™t want to leave the resort to see the sights, you really donā€™t have to at all and still have a relaxing vacation. Will be coming back again if I vacation in the area again. Highly recommend for the price.

A perfect place to unwind from our stay at a resort at Disney World. This property is in a quiet and safe location. Our partial ocean view room was spacious, clean and the view from the balcony was perfect. Additionally, the beach access is one of the best that we have experienced. Lastly, every team member was friendly and helpful.

I loved it so much, I can't wait to go back. The hotel is so clean and every staff member I encountered treated me as if I was their only guest. Suzanne at the Front Desk was incredible and so attentive and Steve, the restaurant manager was so attentive and made us all feel so special. Everyone who works at this hotel seems so happy we are sure management must treat them well. (If not, they should). This hotel should be used as an example of how all hotels should be. Thank you all for helping us remember this as one of our favorite vacations.

The location and room were OK but I am completely unhappy with the hidden $12 daily parking fee which was never disclosed to me until check out. No one ever said a thing about it. It only showed up in the fine print on the parking pass. I donā€™t expect something like this from a higher end hotel. And I just noticed an additional pending charge from the hotel. I canā€™t wait to see what petty thing this charge is for! The room was left in perfect condition.

Very happy with our stay! The room (partial ocean view) was clean and modern and yes, ocean view from the balcony. We caught the sunrise over the ocean and it was AWESOME. The staff were all genuinely lovely. The pool was fun for our two small kids, and a quick walk to the beach when they wanted to switch it up. Will stay again.

I booked 2 rooms and both were very accommodating, spacious and clean. The view from our corner room was the best! The second room's layout was perfect for my 3 young adult boys. I also liked that the hotel was small and its close access to the beach. The overall ambiance and beach front was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would love to stay again however, I was very uncomfortable with the pet friendly policy. With the times we are living in with so many contagious diseases around the globe, dogs are know to spread many animals to human disease. I saw so many of all kinds and felt very skeptical of sleeping on the bed, nor did I sit on the sofa for the fear of dog tics and its saliva. I would love to stay again at this location but I would be reluctant to do so because unless there is a change in this policy.

One elevator was out of service almost our entire stay. The hotel was very full. This greatly inconvenienced all guests who lined up for the elevator or had to take the stairs. Further, when the elevator was finally fixed, they took the original one out of service -- so the problem remained. The hotel also charged for parking -- just regular open air, parking-lot style parking. I think it is insulting to guests to pay for self-parking at a drive-to property (as opposed to a city or airport property) - really looks like gouging. The hotel lobby shop was overpriced -- even for a hotel lobby shop. The Starlight restaurant was a bright spot in the stay. Reasonable prices, good service, high-quality food. Signs all around the hotel restricting outside food and beverage is insulting. Basically the restaurant claimed the entire hotel property as a non-competitive environment which is just insane. While I completely understand the need to protect restaurant space from outside F&B, extending this to the entire property (and even to pool property not run by the restaurant) is a bit over the top.

The Hilton Garden Inn was a pretty nice place to stay as far as the building goes, but the overall experience was beat down by the staff. First of all we had 2 back to back reservations and both times at checkout, they said ā€œwe will email you your receiptā€. I said I would like a printed copy and both times we were overcharged with some bogus charge thrown on there.. When we questioned the charges, they made up some kind of miscellaneous charge and then finally said, it shouldnā€™t be on there , and both times had to refund money to my credit cardā€¦.It felt like the do this on purpose and people donā€™t bother calling back to dispute the charges. Then on another occasion, my wife came with a torn meniscus in her knee and was using a mobility scooter to get around. She was sitting by the pool, and drove her scooter over to ask the bartender if she could have some ice, and he told her ā€œNO, go up to the 3rd floor and get some from the machineā€¦ Wow for some ice? She told him never mind, she would go to the front desk and see if they could help her. She didnā€™t want to go to the third floor because one of their only two elevators were broken , and she got stuck getting ice last time because there was never any room on the elevator because of how busy it was.. The room was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were kept up nice. The staff in the restaurant was nice, but the people at the front desk and the bartender, not so much. I think the $12 + tax a night for parking was ridiculous . I think that this place is trying to be more upscale than it really is..

I know you may wonder how I rate each of the ratable items as 5 and an overall rating at 4. My reasons; there are very limited indoor public seating areas. If it is crazy hot outside or if it is raining there are very limited areas where you can gather to visit, or even sit and read. Also, I consider $4 to wash a load of laundry and another $4 to dry a bit excessive. Upscale property doesn't mean they have to rob you for the basics. In line with that same line of thinking...they charge to park when they have MORE than ample parking available. It felt like they figured their clientele are of better means than some so they were going to take what they could. Having said all of that, it is a nice property with a nice staff. That's how I can rate each individual point a 5 and give the property only a 4.

So I stayed here for a company party and I realized this was a newly remodeled facility. It's so clean and nice! I did enjoy it for the most part except my room (519) didn't have a microwave in it. I had everything but that, even had 4 towels already stocked in the room, that was nice. Didn't get to even see the pool or use it because again I was with a big group for a holiday celebration in the conference room. It's not often I see a hotel with an on-site snack bar in the lobby. The only thing missing was a waterfall since it is right on the beach! The only other thing I didn't like is there is no such thing as a ground floor room here. Again not a big deal I gave it 4/5 stars. Hope they put microwaves in.

It definitely matters where you stay! We stayed out first few days on vaca in Orlando and did not get much rest so we were looking forward to a beach front room and some R&R. We did not have a reservation, but they had a cancellation so we got lucky. I just had the best sleep Iā€™ve had in awhile. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The view is great. Weā€™ve watched the cruise ships come and go through the night. They have everything so you donā€™t have to leave if you donā€™t want to. The pool area is festive and the beach front has umbrella/chair rentals. The food is good and they offer a variety plus they have a little gift shop snack area that offers amenities also.

Great hotel right on the beach. Everything was welcoming as soon as our party of 8 strolled through the doors. Nicer hotel with white/ivory walls and flooring everywhere in the hotel. Gary was fantastic in the poolside bar in his day off. GIVE THAT GUY A RAISE!!!!!! Overall a great experience and will bring the family many years to come

The staff was wonderful! Jason at the front desk, Susie and Lori in the restaurant and all the other team members we encountered were fantastic. Our room was clean, comfortable and bright. Breakfast in the restaurant was SO good. We enjoyed the pool and the sunrise on the beach each morning. We will definitely stay again!

booked this hotel as a last minute weekend anniversary trip, took the only room available which was a king however we had wanted a suite but they were sold out. The next morning I went to the front desk and they were able to switch us to a suite with a private bedroom, balcony and partial ocean view for free!!! The upgrade was amazing! The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The pool area was great however the pool water was too hot. It was about 100 degrees outside and was expecting a refreshing swim but it seems that the heater may have been on too high, it felt like a hot tub instead of a pool. The bed and pull out sofa were both comfortable. The AC was freezing cold (just the way we like it to sleep) best AC in any hotel we have ever stayed at.

This is the ultimate ocean front boutique hotel style experience at an extremely affordable price. The hotel inside is beautiful, rooms are well decorated and perfectly clean, hotel has a boardwalk directly onto the beach, awesome pool/pool deck area, amazing bartenders and the food at the starlight restaurant was straight up awesome. I travel full time for work and have stayed at a countless amount of hotels, this was one of my favorites. Previous to this stay I was at the Ritz Carlton Orlando for 2 nights... Next time I'm skipping the Ritz and coming directly here.

My family stayed at this hotel for two nights after six days at Universal and Disney. Six adults all together in a King suite with adjoining room with two double-bed. Plenty of room. Suite area had a couch, mini-fridge, microwave, and small sink. Restaurant served three meals--very good. Bar outside had tropical drinks. Pool was small but we were there for the ocean which was a quick two minute walk right behind the hotel. The hotel had a stand at the beach to rent chairs/umbrellas, boogie boards, paddle board, bikes, etc. Very good trip!!

The staff is professional, caring and portray their happiness as they do their jobs. The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent. The hotel is continuously cleaned and well maintained. Bar staff is attentive and serve great drinks. Having a pool and beach steps away was icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Rooms are clean with a perfect view of the ocean. Pool is heated although no hot tub (which would be perfect at night). Bar in the lobby and bar at the pool *shout out to Gary who is the best bartender they have*!! Had one issue with our stay which was a leak in the room to which they quickly moved us to the next ocean front room over and gave us drink, appetizer and breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. Overall nothing bad to say about this hotel!

  • 4/5 Tara R. 2 years ago on Google
There were some issues here. The room was not ready for occupancy. The phone did not work, table lamp light bulb wasn't screwed in, table wasn't clean, one of the two cups had the plastic missing, chewing gum on the floor. We ended up switching to a much better room. The front desk offered their apologies and upgrades. Dunes restaurant was great. They have an excellent shrimp po boy. The fries are great too and it's a manageable size portion of fries. We would definitely eat there again. For these room prices, this location needs to ensure the quality in their rooms. This location is in a prime tourist location. I hope after this experience and complaints that the next guests do not have to go through having a less than favorable stay. This was my birthday celebration. Overall, the situation was made right and we will give them another chance.
