The outside of the building doesn't look inviting, but it is huge! We spent hours learning and exploring. From interactive stations, to 3-d experiences and even a liftoff simulation ride. This is a must see location when visiting NASA

Great experience at the Kennedy Space Center! This is located at the northeast corner of the Kennedy Space Visitor complex. It is just north of the bus drop-off and east of the outdoor memorial. It is hard to miss since it has the Space shuttle External tank and solid rocket boosters standing outside the front of it. This building has many exciting features for visitors to see. It has an introductory movie experience, a real space shuttle, interactive experiences, a slide for kids, a shuttle simulator, a memorial, and a gift shop. The visuals throughout the building are very well done. The introductory preshow that explains how the shuttle idea started is very well done and explains the challenges that the idea went through to become a reality. It leads to a novel viewing experience that leads out into the large bay where the real shuttle is displayed with bay doors open and robotic arm outstretched. We took the guided tour that was available and Bart did a wonderful job of explaining details about the shuttle program and the shuttle. We chose to pay our respects in the memorial to the Columbia and Challenger Shuttle astronauts that are located on the bottom floor next to the exit. Overall, this is a must-see at the Space Center complex.

Hadn't been back to the Kennedy Space Center in a number of years so it was nice to see it all again. Love this place! And this "new"(ish?) space shuttle exhibit is ridiculously amazing. Jaw dropping that the actual shuttle is right there in the building. Wonderful.

The fulfillment of a childhood dream for every space enthusiast! Perfectly staged. All the facts about its creation and development are very well prepared and presented with lots of original recordings. Even if you have to wait, it's definitely worth it!

It’s something incredible, to be able to stand next to something so historical like this. The shuttle launches are iconic moments in history, and getting to see it in person was definitely an iconic moment from our visit to the space center. Loved every minute!

I've been coming here since they opened It's still a great experience, and they have added new things over the years, so it never gets old. Great for kids and adults.

AMAZING this place was very cool and educational. My kids had a blast and I was very impressed with how neat this place is. Of you are on the space coast you got to see this. They also have a launch experience that is really cool. It os a simulator that actually makes you feel like you are launching in the the spacecraft. The staff went out of their way to make sure you got to experience everything you want to. NASA has done an awesome job with the whole experience at Atlantis.

Without doubt the highlight of my recent trip to Kennedy Space Centre. The Atlantis space craft is expertly introduced via some short videos in a small auditorium (it must be said that some of the acting in the clips is a little ropey) before unveiling the incredible Atlantis craft itself. This exhibit also houses the takeoff simulator which is helped by some amusing videos and is actually quite impressively done. Highly recommend this exhibit, make sure this is one you attend if visiting. It's essential!

We really loved the experience, we got the special discounts for September month, in which you can take your kid for free.

Amazing shows at the start, and a brilliant exhibit about the Atlantis! The end to the second show is simply brilliant. Hats off the guys who planned it. There is so much to see and understand here. It is a must visit when coming to the Kennedy Space Center. Also, the launch simulation is a must do. But make sure you get there well in time as 4.30pm is the last slot available and we missed ours by just 10 mins! Last you exit the building through the souvenir shop and there are some amazing things to add to your collection and memories of Kennedy Space Center.

This exhibit was amazing! Starts with a 360 video screen where the wall opens and then you walk into a massive room with the shuttle, massive, amazing and just an incredible thing to experience. There was a huge slide for the kids to go down and then my two teens went on a launch simulator that they loved! Super impressive form start to finish.

It is both sobering and inspiring to go to the Kennedy Space Center. So much history and science to read about. Lots of fun exhibits and rides as well. We had a great time, and we didn't even get to see everything.

By far our absolute favorite part of KSC! The line is quite long, but moves quickly. Included with the price of park admission and definitely worth the wait. The actual Atlantis shuttle is here on display along with thousands of other artifacts and information stations! You could spend the entire day in here alone. So very impressive, informative, and exciting! You must do the launch simulator! It is as close to a launch as you’ll get if you’re not an actual astronaut!

Great! My favorite exhibit. I’m 44, but I rode all the rides, crawled on all the interactive exhibits, and pushed all the buttons. I thought it was much better than universal studios and a lot less expensive. They had a great guided walking tour going and lots of things to play with. My kids would have loved it.

Huge hall with lots of information about the space shuttles, including memorials to Columbia and Challenger. Would have loved more time. Plenty of interactive modules to learn stuff. Great for all ages and all abilities.

This is a really great display. I heard that they used to let you walk into the shuttle but not so. Lots of neat stuff to see regardless. Slides for the kids. You will be impressed!

Definitely take your time and walk around. The shuttle ride is decent but maybe not worth a big wait, keep an eye on the line and go when it's short. Exhibit is very nicely done.

This was seriously THE BEST part of our visit to the Kennedy Space Center!!! The launch simulator was well worth the wait to get in & if you visit the Space Center, you cannot leave without doing this tour! It was AWESOME!!! Even though entering the Center is expensive, you don't have to pay extra for these other attractions & the Atlantis one was by far our favorite of the day!

They have a cool video lead-in before you actually enter the viewing area so be patient. The lead-in presentation about the origins of the space shuttle is cool, but a bit of a bottle-neck. You are pretty close to Atlantis on the second floor observation deck with lots of informational kiosks all around to describe its career at NASA.

This is also an amazing newer addition to Kennedy Space Center. The opening video and entrance to see Atlantis is uplifting. Make sure to go to the launch simulation. It was our favorite ride at the space center and was worth the long wait. They have videos of astronauts talking about their experiences with space launches while you wait in line which makes the wait go by faster.

Wonderful experience to see. The memorial for the fallen astronauts were very moving and worth a visit. Lots of interactives and activities to keep busy.

The presentation of the opening is EXCELLENT!! You can see that they put the efforts to make a show (and probably hired a good experience designer :)). Amazing to see the real space shuttle, can't believe that the thing in front of you went to space 33 times and now sitting right here... And the Shuttle simulation is fun as well. Of course hard to simulate the 3G force but they did their best for the rotation and vibration!

Orbiter Atlantis in all her glory propped up as seen only in orbit by people who flew up on her. Amazing to see bay opened and with Discovery in Smithsonian best way to expirience the magnificent machine. I would add subtle blue light tho to "enhance from space view".

The Atlantis museum exhibit within the Kennedy Space Center was the best experience of everything we saw. Incredibly nostalgic to see something that had been sent into space numerous times, and it's hard to fathom how absolutely massive it is. Such an INCREDIBLE experience.

The exhibit for Space Shuttle Atlantis is really well done. Amazing to see the bay doors open and look inside. The preview video is reallygreat, and the launch simulator is a one if a kind experience. Lots of shuttle themed activities inside and detailed info for the curious types. Displays are well done. Will definitely be returning.

👍👍 Very memorable experience and well worth the $57 ticket price! I thought it was kinda expensive, but after the first attraction I realized why they ask that price. 👍 I love this beach. It is away from mainstream and is never overcrowded. The food area is closed for renovations, but the bathrooms are new and clean. I was able to watch a rocket launch from here. It is maybe a mile from restaurants and shopping. And it is considered a no dogs beach. Picnic s...
