This is our 1st time at this restaurant and we are impressed. The food tasted fresh and they have very good Happy Hour Specials. We got the edamame, miso soup, salad, lots of sushi and the sizzling steak plate. They were all good. We didn’t have a dish that was not delicious here. This is going to be my go to sushi place when I can’t think of any place to eat. The staff and every nice and attentive also. We will return for sure.

Delish! We had the boat plus some special rolls and everything was quite good. I was a bit off-put by how dark-bright pink the tuna was as it might have been dyed. But it tasted good and fresh. Super pleased that they had not one but 4 kinds of nigori sake

Solid ⭐⭐⭐.9 Fresh! Fast! Our server Fung was nice, had a smile, attentive & helpful. Good happy hour prices. Wish there were more options on the happy hour menu. Parking is tight. Wish there was a 3.9 star b/c this place, this visit, deserved it! Great service, she checked on us but did not hoover and we did not wait overly long for anything ordered. The pineapple upside down cake is a must try here! The sushi stayed formed and the taste was on point.

Ordered takeout and it was pretty decent! Delicious shrimp tempura, though that's a hard one to get wrong. The sushi looked amazing, but the flavor was lacking a bit for so many ingredients. Still good though!

This is our go-to spot for Sushi, which is usually once a week! Their Sashimi slices are so thick, I cut them into 2-3 pieces just to make them last longer! That was the first thing that kept us going back there, but then we got to know the managers, Darren and Fang, who treat us like family now. Occasionally, they surprise me with a special dish that is so beautiful and artistic, I hate to eat it, but it's always delicious! Darren has moved on to the Peoria location, but Fang is still there, and he's adding new and different weekly specials to their menu now, too. highly recommend Yama for both their food and their service! You won't be sorry!

This is a fantastic spot, especially for vegetarian sushi lovers. They made us a delicious vegetarian yokisoba and had several rolls to choose from- veggie roll (pictured on the left, minus 1-2 rolls I had already eaten), avocado, cucumber, asparagus and AAC. The decor/vibe inside is serene and beautiful, and we had some of the best/most conscientious service ever. We'll definitely be back!

We went and tried this sushi place last night, very small and cozy dining area. We ordered Las Vegas rolls, salmon sashimi and nigiri, we also got a spider roll and spicy garlic edamame. Everything tasted delicious and fresh and Fang our server was really attentive and nice! Highly recommend go check this local place out!

Delicious, fresh and quick! Every roll we got was wonderful, the pieces held together, and the sweet and spicy calamari was excellent! Our waitress was attentive and speedy with drink refills. 10/10!

Our server was great! Host greeted us right away. Service was prompt. She broke down some items on the menu and made an amazing recommendation to try the Spicy Calamari for appetizer. So good. We will be back. That you for the amazing food and better service!

I love Yama Sushi in Chandler. Service is always fantastic, friendly and they always remember us when we come in. The music is good, sushi is delicious- I always get the chefs nigiri special (9 pieces) for $20 and it is fantastic, and enough to fill me up along with the spicy garlic edamame. I tried 2 new cocktails tonight, the espresso martini (really tasty and a nice dessert drink since I couldn’t have their actual desserts (can’t eat gluten). And then I also had their Yuzu mimosa- also tasty. On a side note- they are very informative on what’s gluten free on the menus and they also have gluten free soy sauce. Yama Sushi is a gem of a spot, casual, yet delicious and superb service everytime.

First time in. The sushi was all tasty and good quality. Loved the presentation on them too. Atmosphere is great. Service was a little slow is my only complaint.

I love sushi and I was looking for a new place to try in Chandler. I came across Yama Sushi House and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed! The sushi was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was also friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and was very clean. The only downside was that they did not have Corona beer or egg rolls on their menu. I was hoping to enjoy a cold Corona with my sushi, but they only had Japanese beers. I also wanted to try egg rolls, but they did not have any. I wish they had more options for appetizers and drinks. Overall, I had a great experience at Yama Sushi House and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves sushi. It is one of the best sushi places in Chandler and I can’t wait to go back.
