I went here about a week ago and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I'm not particularly artsy (okay I'm not artsy at all) but the experience of going here was like nothing I've experienced before. I've been to "As You Wish" once and you might assume the two are alike but the only thing they have in common is the painting and (believe it or not) that's not the most important part. What Painting Wonderland offers is a lifetime memory. An intimate get together with someone you love. Or even just an extremely relaxing environment to decompress and let your feelings out into your art. Where at As You Wish you'll be rushed and treated like you're just valuable for your money, at Painting Wonderland you'll interact with the staff and you'll *feel* that they genuinely care about your experience. The mood is set by their wonderful, upbeat Playlist of music that never seemed to miss its mark. They played nothing but feel-good music and it just added to the experience. The atmosphere of the shop is cozy and laid back. Where most companies will make you feel like you're there to make them money, I just felt like I *belonged* at Painting Wonderland. It's really hard to explain through words how this place made me feel without sounding overly cheesy or like I'm overselling the place, but let me just say I'm not exaggerating. Bring your significant other or bring your kid(s) and have a date worth remembering. One that they'll remember because you won't be surrounded by noise and distractions. One filled with 1 on 1 attention and love. I live out in Mesa and was just visiting the area briefly (unfortunately), but I would drive out there just to spend a day painting at Painting Wonderland and I don't even like painting.

We had my daughter's birthday party here and everyone had so much fun! Booking was easy and Tara was wonderful to work with. We were able to have Queen Elsa come visit too – Tara was very accommodating to our needs. The kids loved painting and had a great assortment to choose from. I highly recommend Painting Wonderland for a kid's party, a girls' night out, or a quiet afternoon of painting for yourself. It's a hidden gem in Queen Creek and we will definitely be visiting again!

My boys and I had a really great time here and the owners were very friendly and helpful. With all the different ceramics available to paint we didn't have a problem finding something we each liked. We will definitely return.

I took a pottery class today with Calvin and it was so fun! I have been wanting for years to learn how to use a pottery wheel and Calvin was an amazing and patient teacher!! Can’t wait to go back again. Thank you!

This place is great! It’s a small business with that family friendly feel, it’s great for parties as well, whether you want to do ceramic or canvases. (Way better priced than places I’ve visited before like “As you Wish” btw) They also apparently have events regularly ongoing (???) so be sure to check their website for the event calendar.

Painting Wonderland is a great place for anyone who wants to get creative---artist or not! They have a huge selection of bisque ware that can be painted and fired or painted with acrylics and left to dry. Big or small, functional or decorative---they've got something for everyone. EVEN CANVASES! Some have a design traced onto them, kind of like a paint and canvas coloring page. My husband and I spent hours here painting our projects the first time we went back in April. Yesterday and today, I was there by myself working on a special gift. Both times, the staff was knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, and friendly. The prices are great, the rooms are well-lit, clean, and cool, and the ideas abound. Also, if you take on a project of epic portions, they'll let you work on it over multiple sessions, or maybe even by some extra paint to work on it at home! I will absolutely go again!

Such a fan of this shop! Brought my girls here for a mommy daughter date and had such an excellent experience from the moment I walked in the door. Love the vibe of this place. They make you feel like family when you walk in the door, are so accommodating, food friendly, and do a great job helping you understand how the process works. I have gone to other local shops that offer similar services and felt like a number with next to no guidance as to how the process works to get a good result at the end. Painting Wonderland is a 10/10. They will not disappoint. We will be back!

Adorable family owned and operated spot to paint ceramics and canvas. Shop is decorated to look like a little cottage with a homey feel. They are food and drink friendly which makes for a really fun experience. The staff are so friendly and nice that you feel like you are one of the family. Kids of all ages love it there. They have two party rooms to hold birthday parties and large groups. They also offer classes such as cookie decorating and canvas painting classes. Just a great all around fun experience.
