You’ll be hard pressed to find anything remotely similar to Cornish Pasty Co. This small chain possesses a truly unique vibe, and with a handful of restaurants throughout the valley, you can satiate your pasty fix fairly easily. This location features a massive patio with a voluminous misting system, a long bar area inside, and plenty of large tables. It’s a great spot for groups. Their menu is deceptively deep. It’s easy to assume, “Oh, they only have pasties.” In truth, whether you’re craving Indian food, Italian, a hearty Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of July, or a classic English pasty, they’ve got you covered. And what better to pair it with than a beer? And goodness me, they’ve got a lot to choose from. If you’re on the fence about coming here, just jump right off it. Bring a friend, bring a date, bring your mother. Maybe not at the same time, but you get my drift.

Always great food and service here! On this visit I had the Italian pasty and chicken tikka masala pasty. They were both super flavorful. The pastry part is always cooked perfectly so it's soft but has some crunch to it. Also I love their pomegranate green iced tea! For dessert I tried the banana banoffee but our server said they can do a strawberry one too, so we decided to go with half and half. I preferred the strawberry one but everyone else in my party preferred the banana. The banoffee was quite tasty, but if you're not into sweet and rich desserts like me then you won't want to take more than a few bites, so I'd recommend splitting it with a few people. I think I liked the strawberry version better because the tartness of the strawberries kind of balanced out the sweetness of the rest of the dessert. We dined outdoors for dinner since we're still being cautious about Covid, and the service was still amazing. They have a great outdoor atmosphere that makes you feel like you're not dining near a busy street.

Haven't been to this location since a year before Covid. It's been expanded, and my Friend had been here due to the outdoor dining option which was spacious and safe. She ordered a Greek, and I had the Reuben Pasty, and both were delicious, as we sipped on Kronenburg drafts and caught up on life. Laid back atmosphere, good service, and competitive prices set me back a little under $50, not including the tip. I'll be back, of course, to try another of their BombAss pasties. I've had at least ten different ones and each was amazing. Bring a friend!!!

I've spent a lot of time in England and have eaten some Cornish Pasties. However, it appears that this institution is attempting to meet everyone's ingredient requirements by ensuring a variety of pasties. My Roast beef sarnie was delicious. The horseradish and sour cream sauce was the best.

Returning customer - great service and impressive tasting food! They have the best lemonade around! The chicken pot pie was hot & made fresh with tasty ingredients and the garlic & herb potatoes were delicious! Highly recommended. Will be back!

The food was great, the deserts were full-sized and tasty, there's nothing to complain about. There is a pool table in the back and a bar separate from the dining tables. Parking is a little hard and there is also electric heat where the outdoor seating is.

I have tried four different Pasties from this unique restaurant, and they were all fantastic. I’ve had a few overseas that weren’t even close to these by comparison. The interior of the restaurant is dark and cozy, just like an English pub should be. Our server was polite and attentive, and never let our drinks go empty. An overall great experience! Highly recommended to try!

Love the pub atmosphere. Greek salad was delicious! Hubby liked the meatball appetizer. Good selections of some European draft beers and the flavored iced tea was refreshing. Pasty was a new experience for me but I loved the Guinness stew, portion was perfect and piping hot, cooked to perfection. We finished it off with the toffee sticky pudding. Staff is friendly, quick, and accommodating. Kitchen staff seem happy and appreciated which is always a good sign. Dart boards and billiards indicate a fun nightlife. Would definitely come back again next time we’re in town.

Such a great restaurant. You feel like your in an English Pub. The food is excellent and the service was fantastic. I'm a vegetarian, and the Cornish Pasty had ample options for me. I will be back and I can't wait to bring my out of town guests here!

Looked like a great place with vegan options but most were vegetarian and the vegan ones all had mushrooms. (They have vegan cheese but most items are pre-made with regular cheese, so not vegan.) We went somewhere else.

The Scotch Egg. My friend was brave enough to try the Scotch Egg and I thought I would share. I thought the description was odd and just couldn't wrap my mind around what it would look like. I hope the photo does it justice. My friend was very happy with his food and said it tasted great. I'm not a huge egg fan so I didn't try it but I wanted to share and speak on his behalf.

Fantastic food joint! Probably the last restaurant with reasonably priced beer! The food was fantastic, total comfort with incredible flavor! My only complaint was that they were out of a lot of items, but to be expected late on a Sunday from a place with such a delicious menu. Also gives you the excuse to try new things, this places will not disappoint! Zack did an incredible job of taking care of us with his recommendations and service! Must visit!

Slayyyyy. Love Cornish pasty. Any and all locations have the same vibe and atmosphere. Darker lit, intimate, laid back, great bar. Whether you’re here for a date or just a family gathering it serves everyone. Go sooner rather than later as they tend to sell out of certain Pasties. Also suggest the Scottish eggs Delicious food!

I've been coming to this particular location for years now and I love it! The ambiance is great and I always feel well looked after by the staff. The food here is great and standards are consistent. The Hatch Chili Burger is my latest favorite and was introduced to me by one of the servers who always have great recommendation. Their craft and local beer selection is always good and I know there will always be something for me to try. Right now they have The Shop Church Music on tap and I couldn't be happier, it's the perfect pairing with so many of their great pasties. On my last visit I was helped by Christian, who has been my server many times. He does a great job and always takes care of our table. Cornish Pasty Mesa is an institution and makes the area better by being there.

This cozy yet trendy spot with indoor & outdoor seating did not disappoint 👏. Homemade Hot Pockets on Steroids!!! Unbelievably delicious and satisfying. There were so many varieties to choose from, but our savvy server told us ahead of time what was sold out. The Guinness Beef and nearly all of the chicken varieties were gone. There were more vegetarian and vegan options than I have ever seen at a restaurant. The dough/ crust was so crispy and flavorful and flaky. They must have a brick oven. The fillings were hot, fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned and generous! Bring your appetite. The red wine gravy is addictive. The drinks were okay but very fairly priced. You must try at least once !

Step into Cornish Pasty Co on Dobson and Guadalupe and prepare to embark on a flavor adventure like no other! As a newbie to the world of pasties, I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem inspired by the history of miners who migrated into Michigan and beyond. With each mouthwatering bite, I couldn't help but feel a sense of privilege to indulge in this delightful fusion of pita pocket, pizza pocket, and a heavenly slice of heaven! Walking through the doors, I was immediately enchanted by the interior—an unexpected blend of a cozy bar and a classy eatery. It sets the perfect stage for a romantic date night or a lively gathering with friends. Though I visited during lunchtime, I couldn't help but imagine the place bustling with excitement under the moonlit sky. So, mark it on your calendar, because next time I visit, I'll definitely be bringing my wife along for a memorable date night. Now, let's get spunky and dive into the delightful details of this pasty paradise! Cornish Pasty Co takes this historic culinary creation to new heights. Picture a golden crust, flaky on the outside yet sturdy enough to hold a treasure trove of savory fillings within. From traditional beef and potato to creative combinations that will blow your taste buds away, their pasties are a feast for the senses. I must highlight the brilliance of their menu, optimized for anyone searching for a sensational meal around the Dobson Ranch area. Each pasty is lovingly crafted, paying homage to the rich mining heritage that inspired its creation. It's not just a meal; it's a chance to experience history with each bite. As I sank my teeth into their signature pasty, the flavors danced on my tongue in perfect harmony. The juicy beef mingled with tender potatoes, while the aroma of herbs and spices infused every bite with an irresistible charm. And let's not forget the crust—the foundation of every great pasty. It was flaky, buttery, and cradled the filling like a comforting embrace. But Cornish Pasty Co isn't just about the pasties. Their menu is a treasure trove of delights, with a diverse range of appetizers and sides that complement their star attraction. From the tangy Buffalo chicken wings to the mouthwatering loaded nachos, there's something for every craving. Oh, and did I mention the heavenly dipping sauces? They elevate each bite to new heights of flavor ecstasy! The staff at Cornish Pasty Co deserves a special mention too. Their passion for their craft and warm hospitality make the dining experience all the more enjoyable. They are more than happy to guide you through the menu, recommend their personal favorites, and ensure your visit is nothing short of exceptional. So, if you find yourself craving a unique culinary experience in the Dobson Ranch area, look no further than Cornish Pasty Co. Indulge in their delectable pasties, soak in the enchanting atmosphere, and let the flavors transport you to a world where history meets gastronomy. Trust me, you'll leave with a full belly, a happy heart, and a promise to return time and time again.

Had been to the Vegas location and loved it decided to try in Mesa az well and they did not disappoint, great selection, we'll curated beer list, the lounge area is super chill and comfy. Our server was very good, we went mid afternoon with a group of 7 and he was a positive talking point for our table. Cheers!

Just amazing food in a semi upscale setting. British slavery pasties served with just top notch ingredients. Communal seating makes going in big groups a blast while they still have 2 top and 4 top tables. Great little patio that's never busy. Servers are nice and quick. If I get to choose where to eat it's almost always here. Filling food that won't break the bank and has that nice touch of class. Great beer selection with fun rotating taps. Guava beer? Hell yeah I'll try that. Keep it up guys and thanks for making it through the pandemic. Customer for life.

There is a great variety in the menu, and all of it is delicious! They also have many beers on tap that most bars don't. And the atmosphere is very comfortable.

  • 5/5 EmmaLee P. 3 years ago on Google
The food was delicious, but they have a limited supply of each kind of pasty at a time. We went for lunch around 2, and they were working on more pasties for dinner, but they were out of some of their more popular pasties. They have seasonal pasties too, and we tried the pumpkin pie pasty for dessert. Served hot with ice cream and fresh whipped cream it was very yummy.

Fantastic choice every time we go. The food is outstanding and the variety could please just about anyone. I tend to branch out and try new items, but the Cajun is hard to get away from. Get one to eat in and one to go if you can't decide. They warm up great!

Delicious, as always! I highly recommend the pesto chicken (pictured). The crust is flaky, and buttery yet light. Food is filling but not overwhelmingly full. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. Absolutely delicious and never disappoints.

As a vegetarian, the selection was incredible!! I ordered the cottage pie - it was huge!! I thought it would be too big to finish but after one bite I wish I had ordered two! (Not really but my taste buds were dancing and kind of took over). Vegetarians please treat yourself to this restaurant. They do not dissappoint.

Eric, the bartender and employee of ten years, was a great ambassador for this establishment. He was personable, and through his leading questions, discovered that my friend and I were first timers. Additionally, he made great recommendations, validated our food selections, and it was clear that he is personally invested in and excited to be there. I felt like I was talking to the owner! In addition to the soup that my friend ordered, he brought us small samples of the other soups they had available. If they had extra loaves of bread to sell, I would've taken bowls of all of their soups! I also enjoyed the salmon pasty and an apple caramel pasty for dessert. Eric told us that it takes them 6 hours to make the delicious caramel! I was thankful to find that they had a location in Boston and am looking forward to my next visit!

The food was delicious. The only complaint was they were out of a lot of the food. I had the Cuban and my girlfriend had the Mexican. We couldn't figure out which one was better. We shared the soup with mushrooms, spinach and Walnuts (we both thought it was wierd) but fantastic flavor

This has been one of my absolute favorites as a long time inhabitant of the hills here. I don't think there is a pasty I dont like.also the banofee pie should be kept pure with Bannanas only however I enjoyed the new twist offering with strawberries

Staff is always friendly. Food is hot and delicious. We tried the chips appetizer and added cheese and bacon....this was actually so good it could have been my entree. But had the cajun chicken and it does not disappoint. Mimosas and sangria are decent I would recommend trying their specialty drinks. They do have plenty of seating to accommodate social distancing.
