You can’t go wrong at all. The staff is great. The wait is a bit long but the food is so on point. Not the best BBQ by far but fantastic for the area. The burger was great!!! This was a 5 star review, but I made it a 3 Star Review. This has nothing to do with the food or staff, but the 3% "Technology Fee" they add to your bill if you use a credit card. This has to be the dumbest thing I have seen a company do in years. This is uncalled for, we all know you are trying to cover your credit card transaction fees. but accepting a credit card at your location is convenient to you, and all companies pay it. So why push that to your customer this way. You want to increase your food prices by 3% go ahead. but don't stick it to your customers at the end. I love the food, but honestly this kind of business practice makes me never want to come back.

We stopped in to try their brisket. Cristian was our server and we told him we were here from MN. He new we were a pretty cold place and that is true. Wanted a beer to start. Not sure on the one I picked so he brought sample. That one not for me so I asked recommend and he said Moose Drool. Good choice. He told us about some of the platters. My husband had smoked prime beef brisket, baked beans, pecan coleslaw. I had the brisket taco as he recommended. Also pecan coleslaw. The beers were out along with warm cornbread and butter. Yum! Cristian stopped to make no other needs. Meal out in no time. I loved the taco's and wow the pecan coleslaw was amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his food. Want to thank Cristian for recommendation and attentive service.

Recommended with Enthusiasm! This was our first time here and the food was phenomenal. The Mac and Cheese is excellent! We ordered the Whole Hog Heaven and we definitely had enough to take home as well. Big loaded baked potatoes. Great food and selections! We'll be back again!! Thank you staff for the time and effort you put into the menu items.

Took my mom out to lunch here. It was a beautiful walk up to the door. Lots of flowering bushes and greenery. Not impressed by the hostess. She was a bit short with us and not at all welcoming. Our server Kelly on the other hand was amazing. Just the right amount of professional and fun. This is not a cheap place to eat. Appetizers are minimum $17 and the sirloin I got was $31 for a 10 ounce. It was tender and while I realize its not the most flavorful cut it was their cheapest cut. I normally pay around $22 elsewhere for a New York cut. They go very light on seasoning. I had a baked potato and Mac and cheese for sides. My mom had the baby back ribs, mashed potatoes coleslaw. She didn't like the coleslaw and said the ribs were but I heard her talk more about having so many bone pieces to watch for. The gave us delicious corn bread for snack and the brought these tiny complimentary donuts. My mom liked the donuts but I did not. I felt they were oily and left a film in my mouth. It was ok and I didn't refuse the food but honestly I wouldn't go back. I will say the guy at the next table over got the nachos appetizer and it was a huge plate if you are into nachos. This place to me was too expensive and I expected to be wowed by the taste and I wasn't. I have had much better steaks, even sirloins cheaper elsewhere.

First time visiting Bobby-Q BBQ. As a native of Texas and having been graced with authentic Texas BBQ, I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars. Hospitality and service were outstanding, food was on point with flavor and quality and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very casual, low lite with about medium noise level. Great atmosphere more dates.

Quick service and delicious food! My wife and I both got pulled pork sandwiches that hit the spot. The roasted corn and the mac and cheese are good, but the highlight was the cornbread. They also gave us a take-home sack of donuts!

Finally a prime rib worth paying money for! Don’t get me wrong the prices are definitely on the high side but the time and care they put into the food it is definitely worth it on your next date night! I had an amazing prime rib and my wife had a brisket both had great flavor and it was very tender. The service was top notch and we will be back again soon.

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner here. The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was amazing! We had the catfish and a chicken pot pie. They were both excellent. The catfish pieces are huge! The potato salad, mac and cheese and coleslaw were all very good. So much food, we have leftovers! Even brought a couple cornbread rolls home and our server gave us mini donuts to bring home. The staff are all very friendly! Highly recommended Bobby Q!!

First trip to Bobby-Q and was impressed with the food, bar drinks and atmosphere. Only thing that kept it from five stars was we waited roughly 25 minutes to get our food. Know it was very busy due to Father's Day so will cut them some slack for that. Seemed they had adequate serving staff but possibly not enough cooks. Food was delicious. Had the three meat plate including sausage, brisket and rib tips. Brisket tender and tasty, sausage was spicy to perfection and rib tips full of meat. My friend had a large sirloin steak which he said was very high quality and enjoyable. Prior to our meal had a refreshing and wonderful blueberry mojito. Parking is pretty tight as they share with a few other restaurants in that general vicinity so it took us a while to find a spot. Ambiance was excellent as they give you a laid back Caribbean vibe. Good value, service and quality of food is a reason to stop by Bobby-Q.

First time here. I really enjoyed the food and outstanding service. One of the best BBQ places in town. The server was very helpful and attentive. The food came out quickly. We also got free small bag of donut. Highly recommended!

As the front desk manager of the local hotel here in Mesa I have recommended this restaurant to many of my guests. All who have come back Thanking me on my recommendation and speaking highly of the food. One guest even brought me back a $20 gift card because she knew I had not been there yet. Last night I for the first time with a friend, and we shared the artichoke dip appetizer, and the Whole Hog Heaven. The food was amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful this front desk manager will continue recommending this restaurant to all of my guests. (ps..didn't realize until last night that this is owned by the same person who owned Bobby McGee.... Back In the mid 1980's i was responsible for maintaining all the potted plants outside the Mesa Fiesta Mall location)

Always a great choice for steak and BBQ. My teen kids favorite place to eat! Great portion sizes, the brisket and ribs nearly melt in your mouth bc it's so tender. Service is always great and staff definitely help each other out... awesome seeing the teamwork! We'll definitely return and highly recommend for great BBQ and steak... oh and don't forget to start with the Q Rolls!!!

Absolutely delicious BBQ! First time trying Bobby-Q, and we were blown away. The atmosphere of the building, particularly inside the dining area, is awesome. They have a pretty large menu (it's on their website, too) and a cool cocktail menu! Drinks wise, highly recommend Q Lada and Priscilla's Dream. Both were so well made! For food, we split the 3 Meat Combo. Can't say enough about the pulled pork, chicken, and brisket - all were incredible! You get complimentary corn bread for the table, and you can not forget the donuts! They give you some after your meal, and you can also buy some to go as well (fun to watch them being made up front by the hostess). It is a little pricey compared to other BBQ places in the Valley, but you won't leave hungry or disappointed, that's for sure! Great spot!

Sooo delicious. LITERALLY one of thee, if not THEE absolute BEST burgers I have ever tasted. I got the smokehouse burger, my son got the Sausage sandwich. We also got the spinach artichoke dip which came with delicious garlic bread sticks and chips. It is pricey, but I can't wait to try their brisket the next time. People have raved about the mac n cheese but I didn't really like it. My son did though. Mac n cheese is also a tough dish to please everyone with so...πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Either way, we recommend you go. We are most certainly going back.

This place was pretty cool. The food is outstanding, and doughnuts for the road! Drink menu is pretty legit, I ordered an old fashioned, which the waiter said was the best in town. I’ve had quite a few throughout the valley, and I can say his claim is true. It was a damn good drink! They have fish fry on Friday’s, I think we’ll be going back to check out their fish. Highly recommended!

Awesome everything was top notch πŸ‘πŸ‘ my server Crystal was only five days into the job but was super personable knowledgeable and accommodating!!! Had the brisket and pulled pork combo. Both were moist and right smoking coloring and flavor. Meat didn't need BBQ sauce but the sauce was delicious. Corn bread was spot on no need for butter. Sides were great but the meat stole the show which is what u want in a BBQ place. Donuts to boot amazing 🀩 on tap beer selection excellent and high end liquor πŸ₯ƒ you will spend money πŸ€‘πŸ’° but well worth it.

Dec 2023 Waiter, Race, was outstanding. Drink was okay. Q Rolls Brisket rolls, awesome. Smokehouse Burger was good. Chicken fried chicken, outstanding. We haven't even had any of their barbeque but we will try that next time. Tonight we wanted a great burger and we got it. We will definitely be going back.

We thought we were going to a fish house. It was closed. Therefore, we decided to dine at this place. It was a great place. The restaurant had a nice setup and feel. It was rustic and had a good vibe. We decided to just order the best thing on the menu. The whole hog heaven was our order. We got St Louis ribs and baby back ribs along with some brisket. The ranch beans and broccoli was amazing. All of it was good and we had to get plenty to go. Thanks for a lovely evening.
