My
girlfriend
and
I
came
here
at
10:50
for
breakfast.
We
stood
at
the
door
for
a
few
minutes,
unsure
of
whether
to
seat
ourselves,
and
no
one
greeted
us.
After
finally
acknowledging
us,
the
server
said
“You
know
you
two
can
sit
anywhere,
right?”
Like,
no,
we
did
not
know
that,
because
there
are
no
signs
or
employees
giving
us
that
information.
We
sat
and
waited
for
a
bit,
ordered
drinks,
and
decided
on
what
entrees
to
get.
Eventually,
the
server
approached
us
and
said
“so
you
can
have
anything
but
breakfast.”
When
my
girlfriend
verified
this
with
her
she
condescendingly
said,
“Yes,
sweetie,
it’s
11:00.”
Which,
you
know,
I
get.
Restaurants
all
over
stop
serving
breakfast
at
certain
times,
it’s
not
a
big
deal.
We
decided
to
take
another
minute
to
decide
on
what
we
wanted.
After
a
short
time,
the
server
took
our
lunch
order,
and
after
a
frankly
difficult
process
of
deciding
what
sides
we
wanted
by
trying
to
read
a
chalkboard
menu
on
the
other
side
of
the
dining
room
(which,
short
tangent,
why
were
the
sides
not
in
the
menu?
If
the
sides
are
daily
specials,
and
on
a
rotation,
then
just
print
off
new
menus
daily.
The
menus
were
already
paper,
it
doesn’t
make
sense)
she
then
told
us
that
the
cook
was
leaving
to
make
a
delivery
and
that
our
order
wouldn’t
be
made
until
the
cook
came
back.
What??
Why
is
your
cook
leaving???
What
kind
of
restaurant
designs
itself
to
have
the
only
person
capable
of
preparing
the
food
leaving
the
restaurant
to
deliver
it?
Ignoring
the
fact
that
the
server
tried
to
shame
us
into
staying
by
saying
“Well
it’s
only
gonna
be
15
minutes,
you’ve
got
time
for
that,
right?”
It
was
a
bizarre
experience
that
has
ever
happened
to
me
ever
in
a
restaurant
before.
It
is
so
easy
to
have
even
a
semblance
of
a
plan
when
operating
a
business,
but
clearly
it’s
too
much
for
these
owners.
This
was
one
of
the
worst
restaurant
experiences
I’ve
ever
had
and
I
still
can’t
get
over
the
fact
that
the
ONLY
COOK
left
in
the
MIDDLE
of
service.
1
star
is
too
much
for
a
restaurant
that
straight
up
doesn’t
sell
food
sometimes
during
business
hours.
I’d
tell
you
not
to
come
here
but
between
its
confusing
location
and
slightly
hidden
entrance
you
probably
wouldn’t
ever
visit
anyways.
