Only stopped in for some drinks but liked the vibe of the place! Definitely seems like more of a local watering hole. Nice sports bar to watch a game at, though! Has an outdoor patio with smoking allowed. Good draft beer options, too. Overall, cool spot!

Dog friendly, good beer selection. Patio is nice. Try the perogies, they're amazing! Best wrap is the Crunchy Jalapeño Chicken wrap. Ask for the creamy coleslaw, it's yummy! Tuesday is taco Tuesday with your choice of fish or carne asada. Did we mention dog friendly? 🐶

We came to Lucky Lou's for lunch because they allow dogs. They have a nice patio with misters. Our server brought a bowl of water for our dog. Service was excellent and we enjoyed our meal.

We arrived at 11:30 am for lunch with a party of two and were seated right away. Server took our drink orders and we also received those within a reasonable time. After that, nothing went well. The dining room and bar seats quickly filled up and we did not see our server for another 15 minutes. There were only 2 servers trying to handle a (now) full restaurant and it was clear they were task saturated. One order was a French Dip sandwich with tater tots and was average at best, but acceptable given it was reasonably priced. The other order was for 9 wings with medium sauce. It should be mentioned that they are baked and not deep fried. They were undercooked, rubbery, and it was hard to determine what was meat and what was inedible. If I was to guess, I’d say they were wings that had been frozen, thawed, refrozen, and thawed again as this would explain the rubbery, inedible texture. I can only give this restaurant 2 stars because they did not mess up the order. We received what we asked for, albeit well below any reasonable expectation of food quality.

After 1 visit Lucky Lou’s has become a favorite of mine. I’ll be visiting Lucky Lou’s frequently. I’ve noticed after one visit that you can be yourself and joke around and everyone seems to be on the same come. Besides the obvious expectations like good food, cold beers, and attentive servers Lucky Lou’s is very diverse and the bartender Max was cracking me up and knew how to handle the crowd. I’ll be back very soon

We have eaten at Lucky Lou's many times and love the variety of the menu. Although it's a great place to drink, serving drinks not found everywhere, the food is fantastic. My favorite is the Sinatra sandwich and the perogies for an appetizer. There are many choices on this menu and I have tried quite a few, finding them all to be good choices. The service is very friendly and fast for both food and drinks. The atmosphere is friendly tavern combined with fine dining, very comfortable. As with most places that serve great food, they tend to busy any night of the week. Be prepared to wait, but it's usually less time than what they tell you the wait will be.

Chicken Wing heaven! Crispy honey BBQ wings were fried, tossed in sauce, grilled and re-tossed in sauce. Yup full flavor goodness.

Nice little sports bar open late. Serving a very large menu of comfort food. I had the French dip and honestly could not complain. Decent beer lineup, shots are a little expensive but you get a more than decent pour so you're getting what you pay for. Nice little outdoor seating area under cover so you can sit there if it rains. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items

The outside patio area was quite nice. The Servers were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The dishes were excellent. I had the Salmon and it was actually cooked to perfection! Yes I would highly recommend this establishment!

UPDATE: We ate here 1 week later and it was just as fantastic! We tried new items, and they were also so delicious (this time a Cubano and a burger - both were FANTASTIC!). This time we brought our toddler and was so impressed by the kid's menu and the thoughtfulness they had to having kids as guests - a full box of crayons, coloring menu, and a lot of food selections. The staff was also incredibly attentive to our child, which was so very appreciated. Initial review: Oh my goodness, we were blown away by how good everything was!!! We weren't expecting much - we just wanted a decent lunch and they have an extensive menu with solid reviews, so we gave it a try, and we're so glad we did! The wings were EXCEPTIONAL (get honey medium - you'll love it)! And the pork tenderloin sandwich was outstanding!! It was thick, juicy, flavorful and crunchy. It might be the best tenderloin sandwich I've ever had, and I love them so I've tried a lot. The service was great, the drinks were delicious and they even welcome pups on their patio. It was an awesome dining experience! We can't wait to go back.

We came here on Halloween. Wasn't too crowded. They have an outside patio area. We sat inside. The food was good. The service wasn't bad. I didn't leave feeling like I needed to rave about the place and tell all my friends to go here. But, it was still nice. Will definitely go back to try some other menu items.

The ranch is watered down. Too bad because the souhtwest chicken sandwich was really good. Had the ranch with mozarella sticks and in southwest firm for the sandwich. Dripped everywhere and made a mess. I know you gotta save where you can, but I'd glady pay more for ranch that isn't watery. The staff was great.

I'm so thankful to have a close place to go to grab a drink- and not have to worry about food quality. We go here at least once a week and I'm never disappointed. Food and drink is good quality and fair prices. I haven't tried the whole menu yet, but everything I've gotten has been great.

It's hard to describe how good the Chicken Fried Chicken is. It's NOT just fried chicken. It's better than that. It's NOT an oversized chicken tender. It's better than that. The mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese and almonds are perfect accompaniments. The only downside is the bartender. She is absolutely the worst 😉.

Met with our Taco Tuesday group of 14 at Lucky Lou's. Our server, Ashley, took great care of us and was handling all her customers on the patio like a champ! Can't say enough of her professionalism and positive attitude. The food was good and it seemed like a very popular place for the regulars.

Great place! Went on a Saturday and the place was very busy but it was well worth the wait. Had the prime rib special and it was excellent! Service was a little slow but server was apologetic and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Ok location, we sat at the bar and the bartenders would swap around so when ordering, might have to say again, then again what you want... But when you have the same one they'll remember and be good to go... The menu is solid with a ton of options... The good was fresh and hot

The food was awesome! I get why people will fill tables so quickly, then stay for conversation. You can wait for your table while grabbing a beer at the bar and holding a conversation in the outside entryway. Waiting for 2 hours sucked though. It's not the staff's fault. It really is just a small spot. Our waiter was attentive, took plates away like magic, asked about refills, and really paid attention. Bartenders, even with full seating taken at the bar by patrons, were attentive to ask for drink orders to those standing behind, and overall with the conversation I had with family while waiting and after getting a table made fir a memorable night.

Our first time here, first impression, not good. Waitress seemed to not care about service. Didn't bring us napkins or silverware, I got up and got my own, waitress never came back to check on us. My drink glass was empty, waitress never returned for refill. She was too occupied on bar side visiting. I finally got up and took my glass to her for a refill. Time to pay bill, she left it, didn't return to pick it up, I took it to front counter. Then she comes out to take my money, kept apologizing. How about just do your job? Food was ok. Pastrami was grissly, turkey club good. Restaurant was not at all busy, so it wasn't that she was busy with other tables.

Went to the one in Mesa. Had the loaded chicken quesadilla. It was one of the best I've ever had. Service was good. Reasonably priced. Menu is quite impressive. Lots of variety and lots of options. Probably one of the largest bar and grill menus I've seen.

I would have given 5 stars but the patio scene is a smokers paradise. We were inundated with cigarette smoke. The Queen Creek Lucky Lou's is better IMHO. The food is good at both, the service outstanding at both, prices are reasonable.

I think they have a very interesting menu and I thought the food was pretty good. I like the batter on their fried foods but it’s a little bit too oily and the staff is not that attentive but if you’re in the area and you’re looking for a decent chicken sandwich and a nice atmosphere. This is a good place to try.

All your food is good. Our family and friends especially love your Lobster 🦞 Bisque Soup. We appreciate on how your company doesn't skimp out on the lobster. It's probably one of the best we have had. Thank you 😊

An excellent local sports bar! Most of the time food at sports bars is average in selection and taste, but Lucky Lou's is an exception to the rule. Ever dish has a fun Vegas style name and amazing flavors. They also have the best French fires in Mesa.

Celebrated Mother’s Day with my family. We four had the best food: Ribeye, Grilled Tuna, Fried Shrimp, Lemon Chicken. So enjoyed everything on our plates that we asked to see the Chef. Rick came to our table and we complimented him as Chef, and being very humble, said he was only the Cook and joyously accepted our praises. It was the first time there and we plan to be there many more times.

New to the area and first time coming here. Came here for a drinks and a bite to eat while watching some college football. Our server was friendly and attentive. Great experience and will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great service!

Our server was super awesome and helpful! Max, I believe is what his name is. We used to go to the lucky lous in Chandler all the time. We love the place and the vibe. I ordered the honey hot wings and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The wings were perfect and the Philly was probably the best one I've had in a long time. Tender and delicious!! Looking forward to our next visit.

The salads at this place are off the charts. Simple but great, especially if you like ranch dressing. Get the lunch salad, it's more than enough.
