This place has reasonable prices and the food is good. You pick your own meats, veggies and seasonings. You basically build your own stir fry and they cook it for you. Their margaritas are pretty good as well and for $5 you really can't beat that.

UPDATE- 7/2022: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ‼️ The food was awful and for their small bowl we paid $30 for two, not including drinks (TOTAL WASTE). The customer service was slothful and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal, even the African American Male Manager. With his authority, he has to understand you must ‘lead by example’. The tables and floors needed to be cleaned and even the food selection looked old and full of water, that had been soaking for days. Chan’s Mongolian Grill in North Richland Hills is Far better than this location, and it’s sad because in 2018/2019 I loved this location. Until they do a deep cleaning, fresh food, and better customer service, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU EAT HERE, especially since the prices are higher. I really like this location. It has a nice Upscale Feel to it, yet Cozy. There are plenty of options to choose from when stuffing your bowl, & right now for a limited time only, the bottomless bowls are back. The bottomless bowls are when you can go back as much as you like, but you can not take any leftovers home, & the bowls to fill, get smaller as you continue to go for another round. The waiters/waitresses are very polite and I have no complaints with the Customer Service. I do however wish they kept cleaner bathrooms (its disgusting‼) and I wish they gave you more noodles with your bowl selection. I also notice that there aren't any eggs on the bar selection, but maybe you have to ask for them, which is an inconvenience b/c there is no sign posted to do so. Other than that, I must say this location is worth visiting. No Genghis Grill to me compares to Kublai Khan in Southaven, MS, (5 stars All the way), but this location has a nice touch beyond the cons I mentioned. Pictured Here is the Lunch Bowl.

It was the 25th Anniversary and it wasn't very crowded when we arrived about 4pm. The restaurant is a bit dated . The staff is friendly even though they were short staffed. We were informed they were out of the 5$ margaritas and only option was 14$ premium one. Which wasn't going to be spent on this visit. They had 5$ small bowls w/ 2.50$ bowl for Genghis rewards members. Which was the reason for today's visit. Everything was fresh on the condiments and was cooked super fast and tasted amazing. Our waiter was ANDY he was nice enough. For quick hibachi style lunch this was a decent price point and meal.

We went last weekend as a party of 8 (5 adults and 3 kids). We were greeted promptly and sat in Brian's section. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to recommend some options for some members of our party who didn't know what they wanted to order. The service was great! The restaurant was clean, the hostesses were super nice, and the cooks at the grill were polite and quick to get our food out to us. We all enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back to this Genghis Grill again.

What a fun experience. The food was amazing and the staff was really helpfully. The drink was so good.

Anthony was amazing we had a horrible waitress and he immediately took care of it! We ended up having Brian as a waiter and hands down the best waiter we have had! He was quick and efficient! We need more people like them in this world ❤️

I typically don’t complain about restaurants, because let’s face it……service isn’t that good at most places these day. This place has gone down hill. Took 10+ minutes just to get seated and the place was 3/4 empty. Then they give us our bowls and we get in line to pick our food. The meat was cross contaminated, there was sausage and ham in with the chicken and the steak looked like it had sat out for hours. It looked like a sure way to end up sick. Can’t speak on the vegetable section as we didn’t make it that far. We sat our bowls and trays down and walked out. Disappointed is an understatement. I used to love this place.

I went on Friday December 16th. Our food had a weird taste and ended up making me and my son throw up. There were gnats flying around our food while we were eating. It seemed like there was a Christmas party for staff and they just left the trash out. That makes me wonder how they keep other things clean. While there we tried asking the guy behind the counter some questions and he just looked at us and seemed irritated. After being up all night with my son, my self, and my friend throwing up, I called the next day asking for a refund for the bowls at least. The manager agreed to the refund. Well that refund never happened. We had terrible food that made us sick. The restaurant was not clean, and I was lied to about getting the refund. Never go here.

After being sat at a table and we watched the waitress standing around and after about 10 min she took our drink order. Her name was Elina C. She had a pour attitude and stated it was shift change. When we finally received our drinks the cup had rust or food in it. See picture below. When I stated it to the waitress she continued cleaning the tables vs getting us a new cup right away. The rest of the time we weren’t checked on and had a pour attitude towards us. My husband had to go ask for boxes and a check. We will never return to this location.

Neesha was absolutely amazing from her vibrant personality and professionalism with her recommendations. She was very attentive with our needs and refills. She is one of the best waitresses we have ever had! Would definitely come back just to see her! The food was delicious and came out very quickly. If you are in the area be sure to swing in and say hi to her and get the best service you will ever have!

My daughter and I had a great experience here. We both built our own bowls. Service was great. Some items they did not have but made substitutions. The fried rice is the reason for 4 stars. It tasted like microwaveable Mexican rice. It confused me.

As always the food and service were great, disappointed that the prices jumped up though. Our waiter was possibly the greatest ever. They usually take your name with your order, but he makes up names for everyone. My boyfriend and I were "Adam and Eve", another group near us had a "Curly" and "Angelina Jolie"

Passion was my server tonight and they were fantastic! We came in 30 minutes before close , yet they still greeted us with a smile! Passion went out of their way to provide us amazing service! I highly recommend requesting them as your server on your next visit!

I love Genghis! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! I love being able to create my own bowl, being able to put the ingredients I enjoy most together, my own creation and then letting them do the rest, there’s nothing better than that. Genghis goes above and beyond to make sure that your is always correct. The delivery service is pretty fast for the most part.

My food was sooo good omg! Fresh, and superrr flavorful. Juices from the sauce cooked my zucchini and squash tenderly! 10/10!

I came here for lunch the other day. I was not impressed by the food and believe everything 2as over priced. The service was good tho!

Loved the atmosphere, staff very inviting and friendly. Food ...well you design to your taste great selections. Just a little pricey not to be all you can eat. You only get 1 round to grill and bowl to stack your ingredients is small no matter what size you pay for.

this location is always out of things and has very poor service. I attempted to eat here again today. The 3 people in front of me each wanted to talk to the manager as they were out of multiple meats and over half the vegetables, those vegetables that were left were ether almost empty or had more junk that had fallen in then what what was actually supposed to be in that container.

Every time I’ve been here the staff seems very friendly and the food is cooked to my liking. The waitress is always helpful.

I get that inflation can cause some prices to go up but this place increased their bowls over 25% from 2 weeks ago. A regular bowl is now 15.99! That’s downright greedy as hell. Shame on you for sticking it to the consumer. The only reason this place gets 3 stars is for the awesome staff. I won’t be returning unless the prices are more reasonable.

The portion sizes are awesome to meet this season very well, but the big part is I love the fact that you can create your own custom boat which gives you a little variety so you can make it protein pet

Place lacks cleanliness *** I caught covid here, I never leave the house, I work from home and this was the only place I been to in about a week the very next day it was horrible feeling so I took a test and sure enough I got covid. I should of left from the jump. In 4 years I never had covid so its not something I have ever experienced. My husband and I went to eat there this evening about 730. We waited to be seated although there was not a busy crowd and once we were seated we weren't given anything but napkins. Waited for about 10 minutes before our waitress said anything to us and once she finally did was after another couple came in and she seated them with napkins silverware and menus. When we finally ordered our meals from the online menu she looked at us and said is this together? I thought nothing of it and said yes. It yook 30 minutes for our meals to be made, we almost left at this point since my husbans food was sitting on the counter for about 5 minutes. And the couple after us was served within 5 minutes of us. I got up to get our own silverware, as the wait staff was in the back of the store laughing and joking. Just a weird experience. My husband who's black brought it to my attention that we were the only mixed couple in the resturant. And our waitress was practically non existing during our meal when she was out talking to other customers. He was actually mad that she looked at us and asked if our order was together or separate when she didn't ask any other table that same question according to him. He doesn't want to go back to this location, food is good but warm not served hot if sitting on the counter too long.

My husband and I took one of our sons here for dinner; it was his first experience. We both ordered bowls off the menu and our son only ordered fried rice. It took us 20 minutes to receive our margaritas and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. My son’s fried rice came out before ours with egg added, which we didn’t request, so we had to send it back to be corrected. He ended up receiving his fried rice again before we received our food. By the time our food was delivered, he was already finished eating, which is not ideal when you have a child with you. The food was good, so nothing bad to report there and the margaritas were good even though they were very late getting to our table. We had a seasoned server, who was training someone at the time, which I could have understood the lack of service; however, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant, and yet it took us so long to receive our dinner and drinks. It seemed as if everyone that worked there was more interested in chatting with one another than actually serving the customers.

The service was good because the staff was working as a team and I really appreciated that. We had appetizer & entree - both of which were very slow in coming. It was good when got it and it was hot. But we ordered off the menu and it just seem to take longer than necessary, no busier than they were. We ordered a dessert as well. We got it quick along with the check. Maybe it was just an off day. Like I said the food was good & hot and the server's all worked as a team.

I was so excited to eat here since it had been a while and what a disappointment. The prices have skyrocketed, there wasn't a single broccoli head in the entire bowl, just stems and only like two or three small ones, at that. It ultimately ended up costing about $50 for two bowls of food that weren't particularly amazing. While the server was nice, she was slow and considering there were only two other patrons in the restaurant, that really wasn't warranted. I'm sorry to say this will be my last visit to this establishment.

This place used to be awesome. The noodles and rice used to be amazing. Now the rice is just a scoop and you can tell by the half sphere shape on your serving. Very disappointing. On top of this, the cost for two cost 47 dollars. At best the food was mediocre.

I have a food allergy and the staff was great and made sure to take care of it. Definitely recommend. Food was great. Our server Jackie and cook Priscilla were amazing.

The reason I'm giving only 2 stars is my husband an I had dinner here yesterday an as we were making our bowls my hubby found a screw in the jalapeños an the metal sauce cups were absolutely filthy. We brought it to the attention of our server yet they did nothing nor apologize for it. The cleanliness of this establishment should be top priority an it didn't seem that it was the night of our visit.

The food was excellent. The build your own bowl is amazing, whatever you want you can add. The price is amazing as well. I have had several bad experiences with the staff. However none bad enough to condemn them. You simply must try this place if you have never been. Haven't had issues with the staff in several Months, I assume the issues have been resolved.

Good experience our first time here. The hosts were very helpful and showed us how things worked. The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend trying. It is easy to get overwhelmed by the number of choices, but you can take your time, decide, and plan a great meal.

Food was ok service horrible. Had one person waiting tables. 5 other employees over in the corner seem to be having a good time. Took over 10 minutes to get waited on to take drink order. Another couple started complaining that they were still waiting to get something to drink. And they had already gone through the line to make their bowl. When we were almost finished eating, a man walked in probably the manager. They decided to start moving around a little more. Not helping customers, just walking around. There were only six tables with customers. Now I know why not many people were in the restaurant.

The food was tasty, I enjoyed it. We were well taken care by the waitress and the host. Only if they could get rid of the guy behind the counter, I would have given them 5 star... As a first time visit, we didnt know some of the food and ask and he just replied saying read the labels (yes, there were labels but they were very small and they were difficult to connect to the food). Then, we asked more questions but he was still very dismissive. Perhaps he was busy, but still was very rude.

You basically put together your own dish! So if it goes wrong only yourself to blame. We had amazing service from a couple of young ladies, really helpful and friendly.

Food was burnt bad my girlfriend and I have been going to this place for a long time I've never experienced this was awful also there was a employee doing to-go that seemed very unhappy about having to make food and cussing while we were preparing our bowls I've liked this place for a long time but probably won't go back...
