A classic French Quarter dive bar, in a very good way. Inexpensive cocktails, with a generous pour. Always a cool spot made so much better now that Claire (formally with Clair’s Pour House) is sometimes behind the bar. Give it a try for a special spot.

Loved the bar but the bartender alternated between friendly (at first) to hostile. She insulted/ridiculed most of the customers after they left ("i'm so sick of BABY-SITTING!") and she trash-talked another bar for quite a while especially after we told her we were planning to go there. She kept sniping that "YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THE LOCALS!" I can only imagine what she said about US after we left. It was a bizarre experience. and yes, this is the correct Molly's, on Toulouse, near bourbon street. I'll report back after I go to the FORBIDDEN bar LOL!...OK so I'm at the GOAT, (the forbidden bar!🤣) And I love it. It's relaxed, low-key, fun and it has a definite satanic vibe that I dig. Not everything HAS to be in the middle of the French Quarter to be awesome. BTW, I'm an old lady and I walked here by myself, no hassles, no problem. Don't let people's nonsense scare you🤘go to The GOAT.♥️

The beer is cold and delicious, but call ahead to make sure Nicki is bartending cause one of the other bartenders is pretty horrible at mixing drinks. They often turn out watery or just really bad tasting. The atmosphere is relaxed and if you don't mind the jukebox playing the same song on a loop **(It's the worse day since yesterday)... (stuck in the middle with you)** you can shoot a few rounds of pool when others aren't hogging the table for 7 games straight... still worth a visit.

Price and location are good but the bartender is the worst in the world. She was so rude to us, we were still sitting and she start shouting if you don't give tip with each drink you will not be served anymore. We felt disgusting usually one gives tip at the end of your dining. She was shouting like crazy. For the owner if you say that we were nt then please check the attached photo. Strongly recommend don't go in this place if you want to enjoy the street.

Bartenders were horrible. Said they would “rather be anywhere than there.” Once good bar, it is now just a tourist trap.

Rude, Rude, Rude - Bartender Lady standing next to us felt the same way We entered at about 12:45 on Sunday September 4th. Not overly busy bar just an undertrained bartender serving frozen drinks from a machine I guess we were at the one on Decatur Street since the owner responded to my review I'm reviewing Molly's at the market.

Rock n' Roll!) • a Pool Table! • Video Poker Machines, • Color TVs (4, I think) above the Bar... (typically) each tuned to different channel w/ closed captioning, so viewers can follow along 😃 .... & Most of ALL - Molly's on Toulouse! offers ATMOSPHERE!! 😍 .... & everything Awesome! about a Good Crowd, Rocking Out, & Enjoying Adult Beverages! (1 drink minimum Folks! 👍) & You too, can enjoy - Listen' to Good Rock n' Roll! while Sipping Whiskey & Shootn' Pool! ... or, when it's slow - a friendly game of Darts!! Love this place. Great selection of beers and cocktails, and the bartender was a badass who invited a guy who wouldn't mask up to leave in the nicest way possible-- and he even gave her a $20 tip for her trouble.

Very nice pub, sat in for a few hours today with a Guinness, I'd suggest getting the lock fixed for the toilets though, walked on someone lol

We loved this bar. They have great drinks for an AMAZING price. We were tired of getting ripped off in other tourist traps. We spent 1/4 of what an average drink costs in other nearby bars. The ambiance is great and the bartenders are super friendly. Loved the “library” that serves as door for the restrooms! We’ll be coming back for sure!

This bar is a true hidden gem that I'm thrilled to have discovered. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, making it a perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The bartenders are not only experts at their craft but also friendly and engaging, creating a welcoming environment. The drink menu is a delightful mix of classic favorites and innovative signatures, each made with precision and care. From the ambiance to the drinks, every aspect of this bar contributes to an unforgettable experience.

I absolutely love Issa!!! She's such a fun and cool bartender. Love her personality. Just very new orleans. Bar feels more like a local hot spot, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere!!

Awesome bar. My favorite place to chill in the quarter. Be sure to have PLENTY of car bombs.

Great bar for a hang out. Definitely a local dive. As long as you treat people right you'll love this place. If you're going to be rude, go somewhere else.

Jamie is the best bartender! She makes this place 5 stars! You should go if she’s working!

  • 1/5 Erin G. 10 months ago on Google
Blonde bartender was super rude! Does not reflect an Irish pub or Irish people whatsoever given the only person behind the bar was the rude blonde american bartender that couldn’t even spare a hello as we stepped in.

Awesome place to go for something not as chaotic as Bourbon. Ice cold beer, great staff and great place to chill

Alles an Getränken da! Die Bedienung war sehr nett.

This was terrible. It was a late Sunday evening, a couple with their dog at the bar and one other person besides us. Jukebox wasn’t playing music and bartender didn’t cue it so it was awkwardly silent. Patron ordered Taco Bell door dash and the bartender stood there eating a burrito and never asked if we needed anything.

We are doing a four (4) Irish Pub crawl in NOLA French Quarter on a Sunday afternoon. Third stop, Molly’s Irish Pub. Atmosphere was chill, but did not have the look of an authentic Irish Pub. Service was OKAY. Has three (3) TVs, one not working, with OKAY viewing placement. Additional TVs needed. Bartendar had to keep going outside for a “smoke break”. A great Irish Pub has an authentic looking Irish bar, great selection of popular Irish beers, and plenty of TVs with great viewing placement. This place ALSO failed MISERABLY, just like our review of Kerry’s Irish Pub, as an truly authentic Irish Pub. However, again, for a NOLA bar, it was a decent place.

I love this place, for my money it's the coolest bar in the French Quarter the owners are very much a part of what's going on everyday. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Best drinks. Hottest bartenders. Including Jeff.

  • 5/5 Bea J. 3 years ago on Google
We've stopped in here a couple of times now when we've been meandering the quarter in the evening. Staff is very polite, the bar comfortable and relaxed. It's definitely more a neighborhood bar than a lot of places down there... which is exactly how we prefer it.

Juke box, pool table, clean full bar, and local bartenders willing to make recommendations to us out-of-towners/tourists. Cool place.

Not sure what makes this an Irish pub (no Irish atmosphere) or a dive bar - WAY too clean. Maybe dive bar is synonymous with hole the wall in NO? The bar nextdoor is called a 'dive bar' also. Based on drink board they're owned by the same person. 🤔

  • 5/5 Matt F. 2 years ago on Google
They have a very friendly and accomodating staff here. This is a great spot for a cold beer and a game of pool.

This is a lovely pub, it's open until 6 AM which is great. Visited with friends and we had a very good time. Also liked their food and beer selection, we will definitely be back to try out other recommendations as well.

Molly's is a sweet little dive bar off Bourbon. Mostly caters to locals. Come in for a quiet drink.

Halloween weekend my friends and I trying to have a good time and the bartender was in a horrible mood. She was rude to us from the beginning but yelled at our friends to be quiet. It’s Saturday night. We’re here to have a good time. We walked out because she was not the vibe.

Husband and I stayed 6 days on a 3 day vacation. Couldn't leave until I got my fill. We started every day and ended every night at Molly's. We would have a warmer upper cocktail and find out sooo many fun things to do and see from the super awesome bar tenders. People are friendly in NO but these guys were amazing. They literally made the trip for us. If you go down the big easy this is a must

1st time in here, was kind of dark, but that it how it is in these places. Bartender was nice. Just had 2 drinks and had to go back to hotel because I was going to leave early in the morning.

This is a great little bar to stop by. Has an amazing atmosphere and great staff. I definitely wish I had stopped by a few more times while I was in town. If you are looking for a place to get away from all the hustle bustle and just enjoy time with company this is the place to go!

Low key Irish bar. Part of a pub crawl tour. Has some cool history to it. Make sure to ask about the coffin.

I’ve come to Molly’s every day of my vacation! Specifically to come back and see Jaime! She was so welcoming and efficient! I’m already excited for my next trip to town just to see her again!

Blonde bartender was extremely rude! Visiting from Ireland and ironically received nothing but rudeness from her as an American bartender in an Irish pub! Would definitely not recommend. Perhaps you should act like an actual Irish pub (friendly & welcoming) when greeting customers! :)
