Excellent breakfast. Hot bar looked good but I didn't have anything from it

First impressions are lasting impressions! The energy was great, friendly service and the food was pretty good. I like that every piece of food WAS NOT heavily seasoned. It was refreshing! Little hideaway that I didn’t know existed. Inexpensive in my opinion and nice portions.

What a cute lil oldskool sandwich shop near Touro. This place looks like it's been here for a long time. The staff is super friendly. The portions are quite generous and filling. There is a good amount of seating and it's clean. There's doors on either side b of the street which gives this shop excellent access. Perfect place to stop for a breakfast sandwich and coffee or some hearty lunch of gumbo or po-boys. I had the Egg, Cheese, and Sausage Crossaint with a cup of coffee and it was delicious.

Nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and food was fresh. A bit costly for a salad but it was well worth it in the end. Place could use a little TLC but other than that it was a pleasant experience. A mixture of “soul food” and common menu items. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time of day you decide to visit. Good vibes though. Will visit again!

Had lunch, Tuesday July 11. Hot sausage po-boy, great. Wife had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon and egg. Both were a very good portion for a great price. Old but clean establishment, with 1 unisex restroom. Friendly employees. No alcohol. I would recommend and return. Only breakfast and lunch hours.

Wonderful simple local food that is super yummy. The poboys are great and the daily specials are made with care.

Had the best breakfast biscuit ever after fasting 24 hours for a visit to Quest next door. I only wish they were open earlier. I like the hard biscuit over the biscuits soaked in butter.

The staff was friendly. The place was clean. The food was delicious...we had the meatloaf with mash potatoes and green beans a slice of french bread. The meatloaf was delicious. The mash potatoes were real, not instant and we're so good. The green beans were okay. Our first time there, we enjoyed it. Would recommend to others.
