There is an entrance fee per car, $7 for Indiana residents, $9 for everyone else. $70 for year pass for nonresident. As of the date of writing this: 7/19/20. We did not go into the campground. Didn't find out fees or look into that area at all. Attendant on duty. Sandy beach area was nicely maintained. Had a refreshment stand and restrooms. Lots of picnic tables, several outdoor grills, many restrooms, scattered at various parking areas. Fishing dock. Several trails, but not wheelchair accessible so can't comment on those as to difficulty or quality. Seemed odd that the sandy beach is opposite side of lake from campground. Did not see handicap accessible way to get from parking area to beach. Lots of birds, squirrels, chipmunks. Several native flower areas. Lots of naive tree species, including fully grown Buckeye, Sugar Maple, Honey Locust. Overall, a nice place to spend the day.

I really like this campground and the lake is very nice. However, it is hard for me to believe that this site has not flooded or had issues in the past. Meaning there should have been gravel, hay or some type of excavation to remedy the flooding. We came back from the lake and we could not get back in the camper without going through a puddle of water. I am pleased that there was another site available and they allowed us to move but the next morning there was another camper there. Update: my comments still stand from our previous visit. However, we stayed at another loop and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff at the entrance and check-in gate were very nice. The check in process was easy as well. Sites are really nice & level, there is plenty of room, and privacy at several sites. We went to the beach and it was very clean for it to be off season.

The Mounds Recreation area at Brookville Lake never disappoints and we've been coming here since the early 70's...the campsites are great for the RV crowd or the tenting group...There is a camp store on location to buy those items you always seem to forget or never have enough of "ICE & FIRE WOOD". Overall the grounds were VERY clean, grass was well manicured and the shower house was clean and plenty of Hot water... Templeton Creek boat ramp is reserved for the campground anglers, pleasure boaters, and jet skiers 3 launch bays an ample parking. Overall a great place to bring the family to enjoy the outdoors whether you come to picnic, swim, fish, or pleasure cruise the lake this place is great!

Mounds State Recreation Area is a great place to bring the family. The camping spaces are spaciously apart from one another giving the camper plenty of space to play. It’s easy to reserve a spot and it’s affordable. Just go to their website.

Great fishing. Beautiful and clean. Be sure to take your trash out with you when fishing the banks. Remember. It's our State Park.

Nice camping spots, friendly people, beautiful area, lots of nature, the showers need some attention. The drains are clogged water stands in the stalls. The shower heads don't work properly some only have a trickle of water coming out. No hot water at all. Overall had a nice experience just would like to have been able to get a warm shower

Nice clean park, the beach is big and sandy. Campground is nice and spacious. Rv parking pads are a little narrow but enough room to fit your Rv. Bathroom could use upgrades.

This place was the best a few years ago. Now the beach is dirty and unattended. After many years of enjoyment we won't be returning. We drove out of our way to avoid East fork and go here but now they're both just as dirty.

Very nice campground with large paved and grassed lots. Decent amount of trees. The back sides of F and G loops had quite a bit more action. We stayed in G20 that had a great view from our slide and a lot of shade throughout the day. We could just faintly hear the music and louder talking from the sections mentioned earlier. Attendants were both very nice. We would definitely return!

My family goes to the beach here a couple of times and a year, and we love it. They do have paddleboard rentals on weekends with reasonable prices and is fun for the whole family. The only downside is how crowded it gets on weekends and holidays. Definitely suggest going on a weekday with the family if possible.

Been going here for camping for a few decades now and have never been disappointed! The park is absolutely amazing. The lake is beautiful and so are the trails. Best place to camp in Indiana! ❀️ Staff and DNR are great as well ☺️
