I finally made my way over to Dumpling Xuan and it's now one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Not only are their dumplings and spicy dishes good, they make amazing niangao as well! I am always thinking about reasons to return. The pork xiao long bao are very good! Flavorful hot soup, sturdy (but not too thick) skin. Fresh ginger in the dipping sauce (though I would rather have soy sauce than vinegar). It definitely made me want to try more dumplings next time! The niangao was the star of the show. Probably one of the best I've ever had (and I order it whenever it's on the menu). I love the addition of bamboo -- it adds flavor and texture that elevates the dish. Great flavor, perfectly cooked rice cakes, tender flavorful pork, and crunchy veggies. I would come back just for this (and have). The hot and spicy fish fillet was recommended by the waitress. I honestly thought we were getting the boiled fish fillet but this was a delightful surprise. Delicious savory and spicy flavors in the seasoning, tender, crispy, and hot fish fillet...and the peppers were a nice touch as well. I loved it! I would definitely get this again. The eggplant in garlic sauce was pretty sweet and the eggplant was less tender than I like, but it was pretty good overall. The second time we went, we also tried the chive and egg pocket which was tasty, the mapo tofu which I thought was nothing too special (but we did get it vegetarian, which may be different from usual), and the dry chili chicken which was good but not my favorite iteration. Overall the niangao and hot and spicy fish fillet were super delicious and I can't wait to come back and gorge on dumplings next time. The staff are super friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions and the restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. I will certainly be back soon.

Amazing dumpling place. I don't know exactly what the orders were because I had arrived after my party was seated. But the scallion pancakes were delicious, in particular. There was also an eggplant dish and a bok choi dish that were super tasty too. I had no idea those vegetables could be made to taste so flavorful. Portions are super huge for the price as well. I'll definitely be bringing more friends here next time.

Cozy family restaurant offering delicious food and exceptional service! Once again Google review was spot on! Found this authentic Taiwanese restaurant offering dishes from Northern China, Szechuan and Taiwan. Charming decor and very clean bathroom. We’ve ordered soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), both pork only and with crab meat, both kinds were good, but the real surprise was the pork potstickers, so a juicy and tasty! Beef in scallion pancake was equally delicious. Fried pork buns (Sheng Jian Bao) and Taiwan beef noodles also excellent. The complimentary tea was very fragrant in cute drink ware. We didn’t have the chance to sample other main dishes, but they do look delicious. Service was exceptional! It was Sunday right after noon, so they were extremely busy, but every single service staff managed to bring out the dishes as soon as possible, with a big smile on their faces. Highly recommend!

Everything the reviewers say is true. The food is DELICIOUS. I was just one so couldn't order much but really enjoyed the complimentary tea, the hot and sour soup, and the AMAZING spicy beef scallion pancakes roll.

We had a flat noodle and Taiwanese style noodle and both were excellent. Price was reasonable. They had very clean restroom. We will visit again and try new dishes in the future with more family members. We did a street parking and it seems not too hard to find a spot nearby.

Quiet, calm place with great service and good noodles. Based on other reviews, I tried the flat noodles with beef. Very glad I did. I think this was my favorite dish of the day. Noodles had just a little bit of chew without being undercooked and doughy. Beef was plentiful as were the green onions and white onions. Flavorful, textural, and filling. Can't ask for more out of a dish. Soup dumplings were decent. The wrapping was thick enough to pick the dumplings up with chopsticks without the dumplings rupturing. The broth inside packed most of the flavor, with the meat inside playing more of a role in bringing the fullness. I'd get them again. Thai tea was OK. It wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. I can't say I'd get it again though. Service was great. Cost was typical for the area.

We had excellent service here. The cumin lamb entree and pea pod stems were delicious. The hot and sour soup was very good. Also I thought the scallion pancake with beef appetizer as unique and really tasty. Unfortunately the steamed shrimp dumplings and the juicy dumplings with pork were disappointing for me, the main reason was because the meat/shrimp was fresh tasting. Overall some great food and outstanding service, I just wish those dumplings were fresher.

We ordered mini juicy buns with pork and Taiwan-style noodles soup with beef and they both taste just fine. The skin of the buns was a bit thick and it’s on the chewy side.
