Great shop which has really changed over the past year thanks to the decent staff that work there. The staff are always happy, this is down to having a good manager. Personally, I think the manager is hilarious. He has such a happy outlook which reflects in his team. He always cheers the customers up and makes suggestions on previous purchases. Keep up the good work guys and girls.

Great shop filled with cheap books, craft related stuff as well as kids toys and board games. There isn't a day when you can't grab yourself a bargain :)

Usually buy my planners and odd bits from here, I got a 23/24 planner and the colleague behind the till was so absolutely lovely! They had a shaved head and black hoop earrings, they were so friendly and felt I needed to share!

I'm in this shop all the time for their craft and stationery items. They also sell great discounted books, pocket money toys, storage boxes, games, notebooks, diaries and other odds and ends. They also have a loyalty card and every 3 months the points are converted to cash and you get money off your bill. They change their ranges quite frequently. Not all Works stores sell the same things at the same time. I just have to call In whenever I'm in town

As a craft lover, I loved this store. I could find everything under one roof. You can find variety of DIY crafts available, art sets, canvases, acrylic paint and much more. It is also a great place for the little ones as it offers variety of toys too!

Great value for money if you are not fussed about getting the most pro of things. I always buy my acrylic paint, canvases and brushes from here. Stationary wide it's brilliant too!

We always pop into the works in the school holidays for arts and crafts also a great shop for little gifts .my children love this shop so much cheaper than hobby craft.

The Works is the leading Discount Book Retailer in the UK. I have purchased a lot of stuff from The Works, online as well as at the shop. Their prompt services makes me happier and have recommended The Works to my friends as well.

Great things to buy some at excellent prices but customer service isnt the best. If you buy online order is not always complete BUT they always take your money!

What's not to like about this Aladdin's cave so much to occupy any mind at prices to fit most pockets. Although not laid out for wheelchair users, the manager was so aware of what's going on in the shop that he saw a stack of canvasses wobble, my friend, catch an easel before it fell & came to apologise to us for the corner aisle being too tight! Asked us to tell staff of any other difficulties he could remove to make the shop more disabled friendly & gave me a ready activated loyalty card with some of his own points to start me off!

I use to work at the works in Coventry today I went in with my 8yr old son and one of the staff members walks up to me and tells me I am banned from the store and that my son could not have the things he wanted and took them off him. I will not be going to the store again I do not appreciate someone telling a 8 yr old that they can not have the things he wanted to buy and take them off him. This is disgusting and not acceptable. I left the works a few months ago due to getting a new job and do not understand why I have been banned.

The staff were so lovely just now with me and my 4 year old daughter. Absolutely made her day giving her stickers and were so helpful and kind 🖤 thankyou so much
