We had dinner here. Overly priced. Service and atmosphere is good. Taste can be improved far bettee if they charge high. Their special fried chicken with onion rings was terrible, it wasn't even drained it's oil well. Also Wellington special, mutton stuffing were too salty. Fried rice was better.

Situated in the main market place. Good service! Hygienic food. We had visited with friends. 3 of us had taken veg food. It was fantastic - Paneer fried rice, Mushroom fried rice and Aloo gobi. Some of my other friends had taken non veg (don't know exactly what) but i asked them the review, they said it was fantastic as well! Parking space is a problem. So, overall great experience. Good place to have food when you are in ooty or Udagamandalam.

We had lunch there, and unfortunately, the food's taste was below average. The biryani was particularly disappointing, and the chicken 65 was undercooked and salty scramble egg but payasam was good. Even though the prices were high, the quality didn't match up. The lady taking orders was not customer-friendly and didn't provide helpful responses when we inquired about the dishes. In the end, my friends scolded me for choosing this hotel.

We have ordered chicken tandoori, price was 550, they have given 8 small pieces, no leg piece in it. We also ordered butter chicken and garlic chicken, garlic chicken was like chicken manchurian, butter chicken was worst than their manchurian. Worst experience in ooty. They have branches in ooty. I won't suggest to go there, go on your risk.

Just an average restaurant. Chicken fry has a different taste like that of bad oil. Porotta, butter naan and Chicken curry were good. Service was just ok. Had to wait for long time to get the food. Parking is hard to find nearby. Not highly recommended. Ambiance is also not that great. The place seems like cramped up. Not much costly.

When I was in Ooty I had been here for lunch, the food tasted really good, we tried biriyani, chicken roast, fish and lemon soda. I liked the taste of everything, the ambience is family friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend it.

I will came straight to the point. The worst management in a hotel i have ever seen. I have eaten in many countries states and local messes in india.none of them lack in management style.my father who is highly tolerable man, had lost his temper first time ever in a hotel that to this hotel. I do not want to influence any readers about the food. It is ok. My only concern is that there management is very very highly poor. Hence no one from my family will ever set foot there ever. Pls readers go and try the hotel.

Had a takeaway. Ordered chicken fried rice, chilly chicken and tandoori. Tandoori tasted good. Chilly chicken was basically what we call chicken 65 in chennai. But the worst thing was chicken fried rice. It just tasted like pepper rice. Too much pepper. The restaurant ambience was good.

Had lunch there. It's very old restaurant. Brought memories of my child hood days in the 80's.My dad used to take me there for lunch.Briyani Taste is okay. Their porota is yummy. Chicken Manchurian also good. But cost wise slightly on the higher side.

Had food thrice at Blue Hills, and overall the food was decent. Food - Tried both mutton and chicken biryani, biryani rice was good, with very mild masala (even my kid had it who usually doesn't eat biryani). However, the mutton pieces were not cooked properly, and have to chew a lot. Also, the cost of fish fry is too high for the piece they give. Fried chicken is good, and those who like deep fry will like it. Wellington paratha is just okay for me, nothing so great.

Its an average hotel with multi cuisine menu. After looking at somany reviews we headed here. But it was disappointing soup was okayish and tried their famous chicken fry which was literally regular fry with mayonnaise. Even biryani was average nothing great in taste. Ambience is okay. You should park your car nearby the pay park facility and walk till here.

For average dishes they charge higher price. Biryani ok ok plain. Kalmi pieces & tandoori not fresh. They had given old fried one that too without heating. Not so good taste.

We came here for dinner. Food was decent and served hot. Taste could have been better. Especially the fried rice. Not up to the mark. Mutton Briyani was good with the mutton curry. Also the famous Willington parota is available. BUT VERY EXPENSIVE. Not worth the money , for they taste that they give.

Except good ambience all other things are substandard. Taken order and could not supply the item ordered even after 45 minutes and then expressed the non availability. Chapatti was half cooked. No sufficient man power for service. Will never visit again

I recently travelled to ooty to dine at the Blue Hills Hotel, and while my experience was not as impressive as I had hoped, there was one dish that stood out among the rest—the Blue Hills Special Chicken with Fried Onions. Let's start with the positives. The Blue Hills Special Chicken with Fried Onions was undoubtedly the highlight of my meal. The chicken was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The accompanying fried onions added a delightful crunch and a burst of flavor that complemented the chicken beautifully. It was a dish worth savoring, and I would recommend trying it if you visit the Blue Hills Hotel. However, I must admit that the rest of my dining experience was rather average. The flavors in the other dishes I tried seemed to be lacking the wow factor that I had anticipated. While the food was not bad per se, it didn't leave a lasting impression on my taste buds. One disappointment was the Chilli Chicken gravy. While the chicken itself was tender and well-cooked, the gravy was overly oily. The excessive oiliness overshadowed the flavors of the dish and made it a bit difficult to enjoy. It was a missed opportunity, as with some adjustments to the recipe, the Chilli Chicken could have been a standout dish as well. Considering my overall experience, I would say that the Blue Hills Hotel is worth a visit if you're specifically interested in trying their Blue Hills Special Chicken with Fried Onions. It's a dish that showcases the kitchen's ability to create something truly delicious. However, if you're looking for an exceptional culinary experience, you may want to explore other dining options in the area. In conclusion, while the Blue Hills Hotel falls short of delivering a consistently impressive dining experience, their Blue Hills Special Chicken with Fried Onions is a standout dish that is worth a try. Keep your expectations in check, and you might find something enjoyable on their menu.

Food quite okay. Dinner Rasam with plain rice is nice. But provide with Appalam is means still better!

Came here with a lot of expectations on a Sunday with my friends to have lunch. But was dissappointed with the quality and price of food. Not recommended. Parking also not available.

This hotel is best for people who loves south indian non-veg. I love the taste of all dishes I tired. This Hotel is always full and crowed. Anyway it's worth the wait. One main reason I recommend this hotel is when we visited last time we ordered mutton masala, mutton was not good something wrong with the curry. I informed them immediately they took back the dish and they canceled all mutton orders for other customers immediately. Which is good.

Very nice food.Good ambience. Only problem is for parking. If you are lucky enough you will get a chance to park close to rstauren, otherwise you may need to walk a little. Hospitality of staff is highly appreciated. They will suggest to reduce if you give heavy orders. Atlast what they suggest will be exactly accurate, which helps to avoid wastage of food.. Nice try.. 👍🏻

Not a great please to have food. Taste was okok but price is too costly. Never visit if you wanted to taste some tasty food. We ordered mutton biryani - taste was not that great but price was on the higher side. We ordered Chicken-65 and they served us Kabab and told that was Chicken-65. Disappointed with the starter. You will not get what you ordered, instead you'll get what they have. Not so good experience. Definitely not recommendable!!

Found this place randomly while searching for a place to have lunch. It was crowded and we had to wait outside for few minutes. Once inside, they took order quickly and food was served without much delay. The serving portion and taste was too good, especially seafood. A good bet if you are around the area and searching for a good meal. Costs are decent and worth. Would definitely recommend.

Food was above average, but when you ask them to serve strangely they respond that they are busy and they can't serve. Tried chicken biryani it tastes just average. Dry chicken legs was good, onion chicken was below average. Butter chicken and Nan was good.

The restaurant is located in the city due to which vehicles need to be parked at quite a distance. There's no parking provided in the restaurant premises. Coming to the food, it is quite good however it is more on the expensive side. Dishes tried - Chicken biryani (4/5) Fish fingers (5/5)

Ambience of hotel is good.. food was kind of ok... Chicken 65 and chilli chicken both were good... (Actually nly difference in color 😂)briyani was kinda ok... Fried rice was not that good... An average resturant.... Not super or not worst...

Taste is good. Quick service. We tried Chicken Mancho Soup, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Chappathi and Ceylon Parotta. Soup was ok. Chilli Chicken tasted like KFC Chicken and not a normal chilli chicken. Fried Rice, and Parotta tasted ok. Chappathi was like Appalam. Not recommended.

There are better options than this restaurant. Worst biriyani you could ever have!!! Boiled rice mixed with some masala and served with uncooked chicken. Price is HIGH!!

Faaltu food, not good at all. Never ever dine here, worst place, all prices are high and the quantity they provide is very less and the taste sucks to the core. Please don't visit this place.

A good place to dine in. Fish was good. You can get biryani for dinner. Biryani is prepared with siraga samba rice. Car parking is not available. Wash rooms are available. It is usually crowded not sure how it will be on peak hours.

Food was hot and good quantity. My son enjoyed mutton biriyani. Butter naan was good and sufficient. Better size than other restaurants. Fried rice was ok but not bad.

Hotel blue hills 💙 Found this hotel next to our stayed place. Found reviews were good in this hotel, planned to visit there. I had too much expectations on that hotel but surprisingly, it didn't met up. Chicken biriyani was normal for that price i bought. Ghee rice and chicken masala combo was good and non-veg platter was good and too spicy. My feedback - Can do much better in taste wise, i hope it will be rectified in future 🙂👍
