A very calm and scenic place on a small mountain...temple maintained very neatly..there is a vinayagar temple which is special is that it has 5 trees in a single place and said very special to worship..no shops available there if need to buy flowers or pooja items need to buy near annur busstand or from mettupalayam... enough car parking space..a must visit place..

Visiting this temple in the early morning is very good. There is no shops around this temple. This temple is on a small hill. More space to park two Wheeler and four Wheeler. During muhurtham season, the temple is crowded. If you visit this temple in week days its very calm and peaceful. There is no restaurants or bakery near temple. There is arch in front of this temple. Walking around the temple foot hill is nice. There is a marriage hall near the temple. This small hill is covered with trees and cactus. Visit this temple atleast once in your life time.

Good in maintenance It is noteworthy that the rays of Sun fall on the feet of Lord Muruga in the month of Chithirai - April-May, as if Sun God Himself is worshipping Lord Kalyana Subramania Swami. Devotees gather in the temple the previous night itself, participate in the Bhajans thus readying themselves for the morning worships. The temple is open from 5.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Kumaran Hill is one such place on Mettupalayam Annur Road south side Kumaran Hill is located in a place full of tall trees and thick oases. When the aniras started to graze, the boys who came to graze them started playing, and one day while they were playing, they found a stone half buried under a neem tree. When the place was excavated, a slightly deformed statue of Dandapani came to light. The elders of the village who came to know about the matter got together and built a small temple. They consecrated and worshiped Dandapani in it. Seeing the wealth and welfare of the devotees, devotees flocked in large numbers and the temple grew. In this case, the Theravadas decided to install a new idol as it was against the rules to worship the broken idol. After the temple tirupani, Deivanai Sametha Kalyana Subramaniaswamy was consecrated. Since then this place is known as Kuman Hill.

Kumaran Kundru is an Ancient one. The Hills was used by the farmers and shepherds for grazing their cattle. The farmers found a statue of murugan under a neem tree, they installed the statue and worshipped and built a small temple. The small temple was now grown into a big temple complex and the inner prakaram and outer prakaram are constructed later. now entire hill is covered with trees and greenary.
