Try to get a guided tour especially of the murals. There was an independent guide giving a full analysis of the mural by Diego Rivera (Man, Controller of the Universe), which was immensely interesting. Also saw the Monet and impressionist galleries, was wonderful to see so many classics. Note that they wont you let inside if you have any kind of food in your bags, nor store them at the bag counters. So, hide your contents well..;)

Magnificent! An incredible building and fascinating displays. I highly recommend the architecture display. It costs a few pesos, but we'll worth it.

This museum was beautiful! It is free every Sunday for the public. It is a bit small compared to other art museums I have been to, but half of the building is an auditorium for events. Regarding the art itself, it is excellently curated and had some of the most unique and intriguing pieces I have seen.

It was a remarkable experience. The building itself is a masterpiece, blending art nouveau and art deco styles, and the interior is equally stunning. The museum houses an impressive collection of Mexican art, including murals by famous artists like Diego Rivera and David Siqueiros. On Sundays, entrance to all national museums is free, which made the visit even more special. The staff were helpful, and the atmosphere was serene, perfect for appreciating the art. Highly recommended!
