Why you should visit Paseo Acoxpa

Paseo Acoxpa is a decent option for a quick outing with friends or family. It has a good selection of stores and restaurants, but be prepared for potentially high parking fees and possible crowds. While generally good, improvements are needed regarding health and safety protocols.

  1. Visit Paseo Acoxpa for a convenient shopping and dining experience with friends and family. Enjoy the architecture and variety of stores and entertainment options, including a movie theater. It is well known for being one of the best shopping malls on the southeast side of Mexico City.

Things you should know before visiting

The mall has an open roof on the north entrance, which can lead to flooding during rain. The west wing is only accessible through the hospital and closes after 8 PM. Weekdays are less crowded. Public transportation is available. Mechanical dinosaurs are available for children to ride.

So I live close to this mall, and while it has some flaws, it has some great features inside. The north entrance is basically an open roof so basically you have fully light passage, no air condition, and the only downside is that if it rains, water will enter through the roof and cause some flooding on the floor and you will only be able to walk on one side. The east side has 2 entrances, one leads directly to the food court, has an enormous screen that plays sports (F1, Football and Soccer) and the other leads towards the movie theater. The west wing is only passable through the hospital and closes after 8 pm. It basically has all the brands recognizable for shopping and standard food consumption. Not that big in size but not that crowded on weekdays.

It's a great option for going on quick days with friends or for couples. Plenty of well known chain restaurants and a movie theatre. The architecture is fantastic with its template glass ceiling and rocky dark grey floors and walls.

The place is well designed. Seems like it was built towards an upscale concept. Stores are fully loaded and have plenty of clothing, food and diverse items. Prices are from moderate to expensive. You can access through public transportation and parking starts from $20 Mexican pesos. Paseo Acoxpa has security people all over the place and a couple of permanent Police Officers at the Main Entrance (on Acoxpa Avenue). They are open 7 days a week and close at 9 pm.

There are large mechanical dinosaurs that children can ride around this mall! They offer various types of them. There is also a movie theater and there are several great restaurants. We were able to find shops that carried everything we wanted to buy as well.

Es una plaza pequeña por lo que no hay muchas tiendas y algunas de las que están son sucursales pequeñas que no tienen todo su catálogo. Sin embargo, está bien ubicada y es muy agradable recorrerla. El costo del estacionamiento es elevado.

Overall good, but they forgot to check their temperature and hand sanitizer stations, making it a land with no rules, because the businesses forgot about it too and they're not respecting the maximum quorum for each store. Clean and spacious, but lacking of signaling pathways to avoid converging crowds, there's room for improvement and definitely need more commitment to the health measures: we are still on a pandemic

Nice outdoor mall with select stores. Probably the best tennis shoe purchase I’ve had in a while. Love my new kicks from Sketchers, Merry Christmas to myself...

One of the best shopping malls on the southeast side of Mexico City. Service in most locations (restaurants, apparel, department stores, movie theaters, etc.) is superb. Plenty of parking space.
