We had a great time here and the food was simply put: memorable. The soft shell baos are a must and the sweet corn should be on your list of sides. We had the Tuna XO and could have it again at anytime. The service was efficient and it definitely complimented the experience.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We went to Kyu for the first time tonight and we were blown away. The level of service we received from Fernando, Guadalupe and even the boss Luis was absolutely over the top. They not only treated us like royalty they also treated us like family! The food was perfectly prepared and presented, the vibe was on point, and the attentive service was what put it over the top. If you haven’t tried this spot you are definitely missing out. Thanks to the team at Kyu! You guys left a lasting impression on my family.

Everything I have ever tried here is fantastic, full of flavor, asian inspired, one of my favorite spots. No one ever goes for lunch, so there's no need to wait. You have like 3 waiters for 1 table, all very kind and attentive. It is a bit expensive but very enjoyable.

The best food I had in Mexico so far! The service is very attentive, the environment has even a dj playing live but not in a way that disturbs the conversation, everything was perfect

Absolutely delicious. A true delight. Everything we had was stellar, duck, pork chop, corn, drinks. 10/10 will be a regular from here on out.

Great good but really bad service. The servers were not very professional. I think it is overpriced for the service you receive.

SPECTACULAR. Absolutely great place. Definitely recommend. Beautiful restaurant, nice decoration and ambiance but the food is simply superb. We ordered a sashimi, crispy rice cakes with tuna and the most magnificent steak ever. The menu is interesting and even though I'm curious to try other items, I am not sure I can because I absolutely loved what I ordered last time. The drinks are outstanding as well and the service is really nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Every dish was a wonderful surprise, absolutely delicious! Great service (David), music and atmosphere. The Chef Juan Cortés is amazing!! He was happy to recognize his team's hard work and dedication when we told him that we loved the food. A truly happy place, with great music!

Great food, good drinks, helpful staff in a lively venue that feels a bit more upscale than the Miami location. Loved the mini brioche topped with scallop and truffle, the softshell crab baos and the ribeye, which they served topped with bone marrow. When we asked about their cocktails, they sent the bartender who was helpful and accurately recommended drinks based on our preferences. I specially enjoyed their negroni variation , coconut oil fat-wash and grapefruit gin. Walked in on a Friday night , but it did get full quickly, so I would recommend making a reservation.

Completely recommended for casual night out for drinks and some good food to share. If you want a fun double date or a party night be sure to start at the restaurant and move to the fun speak easy hidden on the roof.

Must Visit restaurant if you are in Mexico City. Highly highly recommend this place. We went on Sunday and it was bit quiet. Huge selection of wine. Excellent Ambiance with great music sound system. The Vibe of this place is very upscale , food was super delicious and cooked perfectly and THE BEST SERVICE WE RECEIVED IN ANY RESTAURANT DURING OUR 14 days trip to this city . Our Server name was HECTOR and he spoke perfect English 😀 . 5 stars from our side.

despite KYU being my favorite restaurant in Miami it is a disaster in MXC! the worst service i have experienced in 10 days in mexico and certainly not living up to the price level. we were ignored by 15 people who were standing useless in the restaurant. while we asked for a table in a half empty restaurant noone could help us and didn’t even take an order. i enjoyed a glass of water and had to change to a different place. waste of my time

Good environment. Ribs taste like ribs from Texas. A bit overpriced

One of the best meals we have ever had. Service from all of the staff, particularly head waiter Fernando, was impeccable. Presentation and taste were incredible. Highly recommend stopping here when visiting Mexico City.

Hottest spot in Mexico City right now! Great ambiance and outstanding food. The best fried chicken I’ve had in Mexico City - DONT MISS IT. Also one of the best ribs in Mexico City. Great drinks, great venue, great service, good music, a bit pricey but worth every cent.

Worst experience, they kept asking where my girl was from and didn’t pay attention, kept harassing us and on top of that asked for 15% tip, food was a disgrace and overpriced…

Great atmosphere, good food, nice music. We had the chance to go into the hidden club, and that was a great time.

Overpriced. Inattentive service. Slow. Rushed out. Noisy. Had to ask repeatedly for silverware. Food was served cold (even grilled octopus) and I received my entree 20 minutes after my partner who had her entree served at the same time as the appetizers. Overcharged by 1000 pesos on wine due to a “miscommunication” (exercise caution when ordering wine). Taste was nothing special. If im going to spend 4000 pesos on dinner for two, Im just gonna go to Pujol, thanks.

Amazing food! A festival of flavor and outstanding service. Special thanks to Alex, Fernando and Jorge, they did everything to offer us a great experience. The ambiance is super nice also. Beautiful terrace in prime location. A Must try: the cauliflower, gyoza, sliced hamachi, rice with king crab or normal, short ribs to die for and the pork ribs as well, everything is spectacular.

Got the chef experience. 10 different courses with all very different tastes. It was awesome to share all the plates with the 3 others. We had some favorites like the dumplings and cauliflower. It's the most expensive meal we've had in Mexico City, but if you are willing to splurge, I'd recommend it.

Service, ambiance, all is terrific, but the food is just divine. Last night was the second time we have gone for dinner and each time we’ve been blown away by plate after plate. My favorites are the soft shell crab baos (and i normally don’t like baos) and my partner loves the KFC. Out of the 14 or so things we’ve tried only one would we describe as not great - and the owner swiftly took this off the bill and sent us something else on the house. Prices are just for the quality of the food - certainly a fraction of those at their Miami location. Drink prices are also surprisingly reasonable for a high class restaurant in Mexico City. Recommend reservations on weekends. The service was spotless - our server Hector even started raving about how great the owner is and how well the staff are treated, which really makes us feel good about supporting such a business. My partner and I are major foodies and Kyu is definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Mexico. Surprised by the few negative reviews - we are picky eaters ourselves, I am especially sensitive to salt/overseasoning. We had great service coming both on a less busy week night and on a busy weekend. But I know a lot of restaurants have staffing issues right now due to the pandemic, so I wouldn’t be shocked if when slammed some mistakes may be made - the good thing about Kyu is that if you complain politely, they do their best to remedy any issues. Thank you Kyu so much for having us and for making my boyfriend’s birthday so special.

I was a little bit disappointed with the food sad to say. Presentation-wise it's top notch but the food wasn't that good. Everything was TOO seasoned, overpowering the dish you were actually eating, the ribs were dry and chewy.
