My recent dining experience at Grumpy Joe's Pampanga branch was a mix of hits and misses. We chose to try this restaurant once more as their Baguio branch is exceptional. We ordered a variety of dishes, hoping to indulge in a delightful feast, but the overall impression left us with a sense of mediocrity. The highlights of the meal included the Caesar salad with shrimp and the Nacho salad. Both were fresh and adequately portioned, offering a decent combination of flavors. The shrimps were cooked well and added a nice touch to the salads. Among the pizzas we tried, the 5 cheese pizza stood out the most. It was gooey, cheesy, and had a delightful blend of flavors. The Grumpy Joe Chicken was a total letdown as it is bland, unlike in their Baguio branch which is really good. The Grumpy Joe Pizza failed to impress. The toppings lacked the boldness that the name suggests, leaving it rather bland and forgettable. The Pulled Pork Pizza, while conceptually appealing, felt a bit dry and could have used some extra sauce to enhance the taste. The seafood marinara and lasagna were average in taste, nothing exceptional but nothing disappointing either. The Creamy Tuna was decent, though it lacked the creamy texture we were hoping for. The Shrimp Tomato Soup had potential. The biggest letdown of the meal was the Mozzarella sticks. They arrived at our table lukewarm and lacked the gooey, cheesy center that makes them truly enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. However, the food quality and inconsistency across the dishes prevented this dining experience from being truly memorable. In conclusion, Grumpy Joe's Pampanga branch has some tasty options, but they need to work on improving the overall execution of their dishes. With a few tweaks and adjustments to the recipes, this place could become a great spot to enjoy a casual meal.

Nothing is special. Photos looks deceiving but the taste is just so so. Chicken and mozarella’s coat was too thick. Chicken was soft which is good especially for the kids. The serving size is fair to the price. Tuna pasta was just okay, side bread was makunat na. Pizza just okay (not so tasty). So many staffs but not attentive. Kahit tawagin mo, taas mo kamay mo, di sila titingin. LOL. I appreciate the lady staff with black eyeglass, chinita eyes, with fair skin. All of the dishes we ordered were cooked fresh and served quick. Serving sizes are huge, especially on the rice meals. Wait time to get a table may vary depending on days. Queue may take as short as five minutes and as long as forty. There are chairs available for people waiting in line. My go-to dish is always the Peanut Butter Fried Chicken. On this visit, I tried their Fish Tempura with rice and it was delicious, although the Potato Salad that came with the rice meals was overwhelming as it had large slices of potatoes. The bill totaled 1,800 PHP which for a night out or dinner date, is reasonable. We also had leftover pizza. Overall, great dining experience.

Shrimp tomato chowder - 5/5 Corn chowder - 4/5 Spicy seafood pesto - 10/5 (Because it's not just good... It's the BEST!!!) GJFC - 5/5 (For the BIG serving.) GJ and Pepperoni pizza - 5/5 First timer at Grumpy Joe (Pampanga) and the restaurant was nearly full but we luckily got seated as we came in. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. Food was great. Price was fair because they got big servings. Experience was superb. Will definitely be back for that spicy seafood pesto! :)

I would have given this place a higher rating but I'm not a fan of how you have to queue up for a long time just to get a table and the sheer volume of cars here makes parking difficult. However the food here is good and they're all priced well so it kinda evens out I guess for some but not for me. If you can queue up with plenty of people, then I'm sure you won't mind this place

1st time to try the Grumpy Joe but sad to say food were not that good. we are there on the opening hours of 10:30am but the food serves to us are already cold. food are bland, nothing special with pizza, chicken and pasta. what we like is the mozzarela stick only. i hope it can be improved.

My personal favorite restaurant here in Pampanga. It's affordable, delicious and has big servings!!! List of must try foods: Seafood pesto pasta (mild) - creamy pesto and a little bit spicy if you choose the mild one. It also has some nuts. Their best pasta in my opinion. (pic 14) Quesadilla - an unusual quesadilla because it is very big. Very meaty and cheesy. Goes so well with the white sauce. (pic 13) Lasagna - the white sauce and red saucd are split. I still prefer it mixed but it's still very good. (pic 12) Cordon Bleu - cheesy and has a lot of ham. Big serving as well. (pic 11) All of their pizzas!!!! I tried the Grumpy Joe, 5 cheese, Jalapeno Pepperoni and Garlic Shrimp and they are all so yummy!!! Other food on the menu are okay (see attached photos)

Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday dinner here at Grumpy Joe Pampanga Pros: - Big parking spaces. We had no problem looking for our car to park and the guard was helpful. - Servings are big and usually good for 2-3 pax - Ben's salad was fresh Cons: - Unattentive staff - Mozarella served lukewarm - Pizza was so-so - Nag-ask kami to takeout our food but the server just toss our food in an aluminum foil and gave it to us. Nagleak yung mga food. 🥺
