👍👍 Simply amazing. Great ambience and equally great food. Right from Apps., drinks to dessert everything was awesome. You won’t be disappointed if you are craving for authentic Indian food. Little pricey but I found it was worth it especially when you get such food where it’s least expected. Highly rec... Very unique restaurant that the atmosphere alone makes it a 10. Small groups or romantic couples can eat in their own dining area overlooking the water. Excellent at night with intimate lighted paths.....Very Cool Place.

Amazing Thai / Indian fusion. The food was excellent. The service was great. The water front cabana’s offer a splendid view. Will need a reservation at least a day in advance.

Excellent food and decent service. Server was a bit sloppy putting our dessert in the box basically it made it into the box using his fingers. Great fried rice ,pad thai and tandoori chicken.

Everything about the experience at this restaurant was great! Service was a clear winner. The staff knew about the dishes, had friendly conversations and were extremely efficient. The most amazing surprise was the cake they bought at the end of the meal to celebrate a birthday, which totally blew our mind. This is real customer service. Thank you to the Elefanta team for making the evening so special. The food was delicious - whether it be Indian or Thai. We tried a lil bit of both and both were equally amazing. I loved the biryani! Do try the aachar - it was different and unique (not the traditional Indian aachar). They do not carry local beers but have all the imported options. A good selection of wine and liquors. Located inside the mall and has a very unique decor with individual cabin-like seating options, which is very private. Pricing : Being in the hotel zone and a fine dining restaurant, it is expensive. But totally worth the money you spend. Both food and service was top notch. Will I return? : Absolutely!

We were visiting cancun from Canada and my husband booked this place randomly. I was not having high expectations for Indian food in cancun, but this restaurant really changed my mind! I loved the intimacy and private spot they gave us right by the ocean. We also had a auto drive us to the restaurant from the main entrance of the mall. I didn’t mind the 15% charge as the food was delicious and the waiters made sure we had everything! 100% recommended!

We visited for lunch yesterday and there were a few pros and cons- Pros - the views and ambiance are spectacular, you can watch the sunset and the kiwi cocktail was delicious. Waitstaff are attentive and are eager to please. Willing to take photos. Con - too expensive for the quality of the food you get. We ordered garlic naan, coconut naan, butter chicken, mixed Thai fried rice, chicken satay, and lamb chops. The lamb chops were a bit salty but after I notified the waiter, they remade it. The naan bread was subpar, I’ve had better. My husband liked the butter chicken, the mixed Thai fried rice was average, not memorable. The chicken satay was atrocious, would not reorder. We spent around $163 plus $20 tip. For the price we paid, I expected better tasting dishes but overall has a good time due to the ambiance.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Perfect location and very flavorful food. Minced lamb for an appetizer was just out of this world! It came with 4 complementary sauces, each of them were delicious. Great service too. Highly recommended!

This place is a must if you are looking for Thai and Indian food after getting your fill of tacos. Its fine dining and everything is really well made. The ambience at night is really intimate. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Recommend the tandoori lamb chops and papaya salad.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Thai.Without exaggeration this restaurant borders on being world class. The setting, food and service is first class. It is reasonably priced with excellent cocktails. The servers also help you out with selections and quantities ie for rice or naan bread etc.I would highly recommend visiting this establishment even combining it with some shopping at the Shopping Village. For info a service charge of 15% is expected to be paid on your bill. It is not included in the itemised bill but it is customary to pay this. The Dolphin Bar has also closed several months ago (if you have previously saw this on YouTube or Facebook) which was disappointing, but didn't detract from a superb evening

A must try!!! This place had amazing food! We went back a few times and tried Indian first and then the Thai and more Indian! The flavours were rich and authentic and the atmosphere was unique and pure. Service was good and food comes fast! If you want the best seat beside the water you need to make reservations! One of best Indians meals I’ve ever had and yes in Mexico Cancun!!

We all had a truly wonderful time here, such a unique venue with walkways and dining huts 🛖 in the water, tree house type areas to chill in, food was delicious and the staff are lovely and welcoming. Great job to the whole team. We will be back

Sadly disappointed with the way we were treated even with a reservation for two. We were seated far away from the water in a stuffy section. When i tried to seek another table, the waiter attempted to accommodate us but the supervisor who was walking behind me told him no because she was securing the available table for someone who was arriving after us. That there shows the inability for mental agility in customer care. Tried next door and were readily seated along the water with a speculative sunset view. Try harder when your customer is there.

The best Indian Food I've ever had in my life. My husband said the same! The drinks were great, the food unbelievably delicious, the service impeccable, the atmosphere as romantic as it can get. As we were dining, a crocodile came by. I had never seen one "in the wild" before!

We had our anniversary dinner and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place Location was picture perfect, we had our table outlooking the lagoon on the water Our order was delicious, appetizer schewzan spring rolls, mains Biryani and Fish curry(Thai Dish) Just a note, this place is outside of the mall and should use mall parking

Amazing food, limited halal options but they can substitute prawns so it's halal. Very pricy but worth it as its a great dining experience and care and service is immaculate

The restaurant was hard to find because of construction and a local taxi driver knew a staff from the restaurant. The staff was nice since he came outside to look for us to take us to the restaurant. Food was okay but the servers weren’t the best (didn’t seem welcoming). The restaurant is relaxing and unique. Enjoyed the ambience!

Excellent Indian food - Angara paneer, veg biryani, sabj tawa and dal makhani, and gulab jamun for desert everything was awesome. One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time.

  • 5/5 Diana E. 1 year ago on Google
This place is an experience. We were lead through the jungle and up the stairs to a tiki hut above and over the water. We sat on our private couch overlooking the water and drinking the fabulous cocktails. Then the dinner was served. This is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Yes, bold statement but oh so true. If you want to romance someone’s socks off- this is the place.

Food is amazing and our host Monica and anahi was great . Definitely recommend if you are in Cancun area and want to try authentic daal makhni , Paneer Tikka .

  • 5/5 Sachin P. 1 year ago on Google
Food was very tasty We had dal makhni with Naan, the Naan was one of the best I had in a country outside India. Watch out for the expensive glass water bottle they bring, I would recommend carrying a water bottle if its convenient for you.

Delicious food and great service. We got a table by the lagoon, which was so cozy. Only downside is that the soup I ordered where small. But overall a great experience

For best sunset view it is a must visit place(They do have limited seats, need to book it at-least a day advance). Tandoori chicken and tandoori panner is a must try dish which is taste’s truly Indian cuisine. It is a mix of Indian and thai cuisine. If you want to have a truly Indian taste then definitely it is not a Place for you. Good place, decent food. Drinks are amazing.

Spectacular vibe. Seriously proposal worthy, showstopper tables. Watching the fish jump through the lagoon while feasting on a delicious vegan meal. Loved the spicy dim sum, actually spicy with fantastic fresh red chili's. Fresh pickles, dipping sauce. Such refreshing drinks and the spicy Siam sunrise packed an awesome punch. Ate this on vacation day 5 or so, boy if this was day 1, we'd have eaten here 4 times by now. 11 out of 10. One of the best meals I've had, period.

One of the most amazing and authentic Indian restaurants I have been in outside of India. Hats off to the chef!We had our table on the lagoon in a private hut. Incredibly romantic and beautiful at sunset. The place is definitely more pricey relatively but worth it. The food was delicious and staff was very professional. Thank you for a perfect evening ✨️
