The place is pretty good, food and drinks are not expensive but the location makes the area absolutely hectic during game days. There's literally just one avenue that'll take you there, so plan in advance. I'd say more than an hour before the game if you're around the Mazatlan hotel zone. Other than that, it's a really nice stadium.

This is an INCREDIBLE stadium! It is a dramatic sight in an otherwise open field. Music was booming over the long walk up to the stadium. Although we were walking in the midst of a large crowd, there was no delay for security or tickets. We found our seats easily, and the stadium was super clean. There were no vendor stations around the stadium - vendors roamed the seats to bring things directly. We were there to see Mazatlan FC; pro tip - jerseys at the stadium were significantly cheaper than Innovasports (Gran Plaza).

Getting to the stadium is a challenge but parking is a nightmare. We parked a 10 minute walk to the stadium and it cost us $50 pesos. But, the game was awesome Mazatlan won 3-1.

It's a nice stadium for Mexico, but not as nice as most modern stadiums. Still feels like it was cheaply made.
