Excellent service and innovative food options. 2nd Visit - seems the restaurant is consistent on quality and service. Beef is cooked exceptionally well. Suggest you try the pistachio cake. Very little English spoken here.

Gallo 71 has been my favorite place in Monterrey so far. We had the tacos árabes with pastor meat, which were great (but somewhat small), the truffle fries, the cauliflower steak (which was delicious but i’d say $300 for a cauliflowers is a bit excessive), and the enormous and delicious carrot cake. We had apperols at first (which we could have spared, as they did with the prosecco), but my favorite dish was the “Healthy” (hibiscus, orange, lime and mezcal). I’d come back just to get a couple more of those drinks.

Good wine selection. Food was delicious; chicken was full of flavor, friend octopus was unique for Monterrey. Lastly the guacamole was so creamy and addicting. Good music and modern vibe. Service was good but could be improved with attentiveness.

“El gallo” it’s an amazing place to have lunch or dinner with friends or a date. The music it’s very good! It’s in the perfect volumen so you can start the party with your friends or talk with your date. The service from the waiters is really good! Try: - Callo de hacha (the best)

LOVED it. One of my favorites. They even have a vegan menu. The betabel (beat) starter was amazing and my husband loved the chemita steak

A colleague brought us to this restaurant for dinner, and I didn't have any particular expectations, but I was truly impressed! Every dish we ordered was outstanding. To start, we had scallops, which were my favorite, and tacos. The salsa that came with the scallops took it to the next level. The tacos weren't your typical street tacos, but they were excellent. Among the two, I particularly loved the tacos de trompo (Al pastor). For our main course, we chose the Ribeye and Arrachera. While the Ribeye was good, the Arrachera was exceptional, grilled to perfection, incredibly juicy, and bursting with flavor. We ended the meal with a nice blueberry cheesecake that came in a generous portion. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff.

A stunning first time ‘Mexican food in Mexico’ experience! Although not the classic Mexican restaurant it was a great fusion experience of street food meets Mexican steakhouse done to a high standard, service was attentive & personable. Highly recommend, I will be going back.

Delicious for an authentic comida from Monterrey. The cheescake was huge and with the right amount of sweetness. The meat and guacamole were perfectly cooked.

The service here was exceptional. Someone was always at the ready to help. The minute we sat down at the table the waiter recommended some drinks from the bar to get us started. They were very accommodating throughout the whole service. The salad was very fresh. The bone marrow was delicious and the tortillas were perfectly warm. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, with the side of cauliflower perfectly roasted. The cake was delicious but a bit big and de absent. I highly recommend this place.

This was a very nice place but, I wasnt that convinced by the food, the spicy range is kind of twisted hahaha, not spicy is spicy and spicy is flaming hot...

You can't go wrong with El Gallo 71! From the minute you walk in, take a seat at a comfortable booth and enjoy their beet appetizer, the filete tacos with tuétano and leave space for the ultimate cheesecake. Amazing!

Very nice place with many options in the menu, all great. Service is very good from the parking lot all the way to your table. Prices are fair and reasonable, considering the food quality.

Always an excellent service where they really make a huge effort to accommodate every clients needs, the quality of the food is one of the best in town and it’s whole service gives you a great gastronomic experience. You can also hang out there for drinks an order some botana.

What an amazing experience . Food was simply fabulous and service to match. Had the grilled octopus and spicy street corn for starters. Ask for the hot Chile sauce and the Morita sauce in oil. For main entry I highly recommend the baby chicken. We tried a couple of bottles of Argentinian Malbec and were happy with our choice ( Buitiful and Catena)

We had such a lovely dinner, after arriving from LA. The manager/ hostess was very welcoming and hospitable. She offered us the fresh scallops and what a delicious dish it was. Would definitely go back!

The vibe is just amazing. You sit with the top notch people. Food and drinks are great. Had. a cauliflower steak. Was good but 380 pesos for it is little excessive. Anyways it is worth to come back again.
