Warning: This resort may have ruined me for every other hotel/resort. From the moment you arrive you are treated to luxury, from the incredible view to the cocktail they serve you as you sign in. The staff is the friendliest, most attentive I have ever experienced. You will want for nothing while you are here, and if there is something you desire that is not present, they will make an honest effort to deliver it to you. The personal concierge is ever attentive and ensured that I had the most comfortable stay possible. The restaurants were all top-notch, leaving nothing to be desired in the way of service or taste. The property is gorgeous, the pools are the perfect temperature, and the rooms are spacious and plush. I could go on and on. I will absolutely be returning, hopefully for many years to come.

Wonderful experience overall. The service was top notch and the grounds were breath taking. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. My personal trainer was great and the spa was tranquil - highly recommend using the complimentary services every day. My main feedback is to improve the quality of the wine selection both at the restaurants and in-room. Also, if you stay in the Wellness Suite - please know that it is located on the main level of the hotel and is right outside the children's play area, making it difficult to relax in the private outdoor patio in the rooms.

This is our third time at this resort in the last three years. Best part is personal concierge, ours this time was Claudia and she was fantastic. For entertainment and activities we met Carmen who is a lovely human beiy, she helped to make sure the kids and the adults were entertained. For Drinks and food by the middle pool Ivan and Isabella took amazing care of us!!

Had an amazing week and experience this past week. From the room to the pools to the various activities and play rooms for the kids! Amazing service. Shout out to Cesar who was one of the pool side servers. He was very patient, and did his best to keep up with our group of 23 people the majority of them being young children. Phenomenal service everywhere we went! We plan on making this a regular visit.

There is a reason, Grand Velas Los Cabos is the only 5 star all-inclusive resort in Mexico; this place is amazing. The food is top notch; not typical from an all-inclusive at all! The service and staff is even better; they are all so kind and helpful, and you can tell that they all really enjoy their job. The views that the rooms offer are unbelievable - there isn't a bad view at all. The spa was great, and again, the staff really pushed the spa over the edge to greatness! I would say that this resort is great for couples, adult friends, and families. I cannot wait to come back here!

Talk about amazing STAFF, FOOD, and over all experience !!!! I can only put 5 stars !!!! If you travel with kids in which I felt like it was going to be tough. They have (free) kids club in which they take care of your kids at no extra cost and your infant at a great hourly price. This hotel provides so much luxury and comfort. My wife and I with our three girls(8year old, 5 year old and 10 month) have an amazing time !

Had a couple of issues, brought to the attention of the staff and concierge, never got a reply from them. Beautiful property, service in Azul could be better. Frida is awesome, the coffee bar was great and gave the best service at the hotel.

Staying at Grand Velas is like living in a luxurious, benevolent surveillance state. The staff is incredibility attentive and kind. Our butler frequently came to find us around the resort and make sure were were enjoying ourselves, and she was always accessible through WhatsApp to answer any question or schedule any activity. Our room was cleaned and made up with great attention to detail and our mini-fridge fully restocked every time we left, but we never saw the housekeepers. Every meal we had was excellent, and every restaurant was proactive and careful regarding my wife's nut allergy. A really nice touch is that all the staff carry around receipts they provide you after meals or drinks at the pool which you can use to write tips that will be deducted at the end of your stay, so you don't need to carry any cash around. We've been disappointed with various luxury hotels/resorts we've stayed at since Grand Velas. We are coming to realize that there was nothing wrong with those places - Grand Velas is just that good.

This was the best, most luxurious vacation we've ever taken! Everything from the room, the spa, the pool, the gym, and especially the restaurants and service, was incredible. Our concierge, Jesus, went above and beyond and truly made our stay excellent. The food is amazing at all of the restaurants, even the buffet! We chose this resort because it was near the top of a few "best food at an all inclusive resort" lists, and our expectations were far exceeded. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have everything you need. I can't say enough great things about this place! We already can't wait to return :)

Grand Velas was one of the best resorts I've ever stayed at; the service, food, pool area and spa services were all first class. The location was beautiful and close to the shopping and marina activities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury accommodations, beautiful location and best in class service.

The kids club at Grand Velas was phenomenal. My kids, 6 and 9 years old, couldn’t get enough of it and they were sad to leave for the day when it closed at 10pm! The staff really set this kids club apart from other all-inclusive that we have stayed at in the past. Martha, Eunice, Karla and Yaneli were attentive and so excited to play with the kids. The service was quite personalized and despite the number of kids, the ratio always seemed to be so that if a child needed individual attention, it was never a problem. If there was something that the kids didn’t want to do, then one of the staff would stay with the child while the others went on to do the activity. I gave my phone number to them and they would send photos and videos and pics of the kids and I was reassured that the kids were having a great time. This allowed my husband and me to enjoy ourselves!

This is a top tier All Inclusive, and when I say I am a foodie and before this experience never would eat an an all inclusive resort because the food simply was inedible, this resort is amazing! Even the buffet didn't disappoint. The impeccable service and the friendly staff really made our stay worth it. I will be returning to this beautiful paradise. The price point is totally worth it.

Wow! What a magical place! We had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Grand Velas to celebrate my parents anniversary. We traveled with our two kids, 8 & 5 and the resort is definitely family-friendly. The service was remarkable and Marianna provide excellent care! We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Grand Velas is by far the best all inclusive resort my husband and I have been to. The service, the accommodations, and the food were superb. The food wasn’t your typical all inclusive, mediocre type- it was actually very delicious and they had so many options to choose from. The views are spectacular and we loved the infinity pool. You can walk on the beach, however, going in to the water is a no no- too dangerous. We would definitely go back to this resort in the future.

We stayed at this resort for four days. Rooms are very large, comfortable and with an ocean view. Staff is superb and very respectful. There are five restaurants on the property but not every restaurant is open every night. Breakfast and dinner are excellent but the lunch menu is mundane and same every day. It needs improvement. My wife has special dietary needs, and all the staff made sure that her needs were met. The chef from the Italian restaurant came himself to speak to my wife and cooked special dishes for her for two nights. The spa is huge and water treatments before the massage are out of this world, and worth every penny. They ask you to come in about one and a half hours before your massage time but that’s not enough time left for Hydro therapy before massage. Two hours will be a much better time to go to spa before your massage time. This resort has very small beach with the rocks on both sides, which makes walking on the beach very difficult. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion bottles in the bathroom are large in size and most likely are not replaced on check out. In that case, you end up using the same toiletries that were used by the guests in the room before you. Tip is expected after every meal, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, even though it is an all-inclusive resort. Overall, a great experience. No resort is perfect and neither is this one. We would definitely return and probably bring our own toiletries with us next time.

This is an absolutely amazing resort - everything was top notch from the views, the cleanliness of the entire resort and suites, and the service was second to none. Our concierge, Nishme, was wonderful and always checked in on us to see if there was anything we needed. We did not explore many of the restaurants but the ones we did were excellent and the service from the staff in the restaurants was excellent. They are friendly, attentive and always willing to help. The rooms are also stunning - we had a Grand Class Corner Suite and it was one of the most spacious suites I have been in, with every amenity we could think of included. I do believe if you make use of everything this all-inclusive resort has to offer, the relatively high cost I believe are justified. Excellent experience overall.

Grand Velas is a beautiful resort - one of the nicest that I've ever stayed at. Everything from the food to the rooms to the drinks to the service was fantastic. If you end up here - sit at the adults only pool and ask for Cesar Avila to be your server! He served my wife and I poolside for a week and his service was top notch!

Overall we had an excellent stay. We were originally booked into a Wellness Suite but were not fond of the view of our room which was the outdoor playground right outside our balcony. We were moved to a corner Suite the next day and enjoyed views of the ocean and the sound of the waves. We experienced all 5 restaurants and my wife's favorite was the French and my was the Mexican. My only complaint was the long delay in getting checked in as that process took nearly an hour with no clear understanding of why it was taking so long.

Came for a week for our honeymoon and stayed in a grand class corner suite. We were so impressed! The resort was beautiful, the room was huge & clean. The views were amazing and very romantic. They made us feel very special! If you have the pleasure of having Tony as your concierge or Carlos as your server at Azul, you’ll be set!

This is an amazing resort with the best food, service, and accommodations! We went there for our honeymoon to just relax and unwind and we did just that! The staff is amazing. Everyone stops and greets you. Our host, Adalid took care of us every day including going above and beyond to make our stay so special. Our pool attendants, Ivan and Jonathan were there with food and drinks before we could even ask. So great! The restaurants are amazing!!! Truly the best! I already posted about how great Israel and Frieda, who took care of us at the bar were. Finally, the room was beautiful, large and so comfortable! The staff that cares for it doesn’t miss a single detail. All in all, a great, amazing, memorable stay! Thank you to everyone there!!

Wow! We chose Grand Velas in Cabo for a big vacation to celebrate our 10th anniversary — a trip we planned for years — and it did not disappoint. In fact it exceeded our expectations. The pools, the rooms, the views, the spa, the service, the food, everything was all the best and several trips to Cancun and Dominican Republic, this is by far our new favorite resort. First, thank you to the amazing staff who helped make our stay so enjoyable. Orlando, Jazhiel, Antonio were there to help us every day with what we needed. Our concierge made sure we had everything we needed, every day and really made us feel pampered. Also, I can’t recommend the restaurants enough. Especially for an all-inclusive package, the fare each night was fantastic and expertly curated to give diners the kind of experience they could expect at Michelin star restaurants in France, Italy, Mexico or other destinations each place is modeled after. I believe what makes these places such a value is that they double as a regular restaurant where anyone can come and dine for the typical price. Including them with the all-inclusive resort package makes it an absolute value. The pool device was exquisite as well. We were waited on hand-and-foot while soaking in the water and sun and watching the waves crash on the rocks just a stones throw away. Of course the beach is too rocky to swim but with the pool so close we never felt the need to leave. There was also plenty of shade to help avoid sunburn. We also made use of the spa service three times. The massages were maybe the best we ever had and the sauna/temperature rooms and baths were an amazing treat that was included in our room package so we went back for that alone multiple times. My wife loved the scent throughout the spa so much, she bought some to take home! One other tip. The sister resort next door is maybe a 10 min. walk and the restaurant there is included in the Grand Velas all-inclusive package as well. We only made it once but the resort was very beautiful, built and decorated in the old European style. And the restaurant is magnificent. It’s outdoor seating, overlooking the coast with the waves crashing nearby. They had great seafood options, fun cocktails and again, super friendly, helpful staff. In all, this is our new favorite place to get away, we’d love to come back many more times.

Grand Velas was the most amazing resort I have ever been to. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was truly 5 stars. The service, the food, the maintenance, the room...everything from start to finish was perfect. We went to the spa, the pool, excursions and I cannot recommend it enough. It was so luxurious and beautiful. We already want to go back for our 5 year wedding anniversary and we talked about coming back with family and friends. If you are considering this resort for a family or couples vacation, GO!

This resort is perfect! The location, the staff, the service, the facilities, all perfect! The views are unmatchable, the cleanliness was on point, the all inclusive option was perfect since all the food and drinks we had were amazing! The staff is very accommodating and professional, they made sure they met all of our needs. Definitely coming back soon.

A truly wonderful all-inclusive! The selection of restaurants is quite the treat and provides you with the ability to taste foods you normally might not try (i.e., octopus). If you're a foodie who loves sunshine-- great option! The one "negative"...being located where it is, you do not have ocean swimming capabilities. You do, however, have miles of beach for walking/running/games! Grand Velas Los Cabos provides chairs and wait staff for the beach...so you're all set!

We had a fantastic trip overall. A few highlights (positive and negative) we’d like to comment on include: * The poolside service was great overall, and Angle at the lower two pools was especially exceptional. He was kind, attentive, and energetic. Simply the best. * The COVID policy adherence, and particularly the mask wearing at the resort, was impeccable, and as the partners of two kids too young to be vaccinated, I can’t tell you how much we appreciate that. For the entire week we where there, I can’t think of a single time where for a single second we saw a single staff member not properly wearing a high quality mask, and that is incredible (and we’re including pool staff, restaurant staff, maids, groundskeepers, repair crew, etc.). Well done making your guests feel comfortable. * The Azul service could have been better…we absolutely love the Azul location across all of your properties, and have had great experiences in the past, but this time we had to ask several times for beverages, high chairs, etc. before staff would prioritize us and take care of things, and it was not due to excessive volume. It felt like the “B” Team at Azul on many occasions. Everyone was nice and considerate, but not particularly attentively and the same could be said of the restaurant staff at the all of the restaurants. Maybe this was because we visited during a slow period of the year, but we still expected and would have appreciated more attentive service. * The poolside Ceviche bar was a really nice touch and we were thrilled that they served fresh seafood, including local oysters caught right by the hotel. One day they said the day’s catch wasn’t great, so they didn’t have any oysters, and we actually really appreciated that. * Moving on to the rooms feedback, the rooms are a bit dark and we’d appreciate better lighting overall. Which light switches do what is super confusing. * The mini bar was inconsistently restocked. Someone came to restock it everyday, but they wouldn’t always restock the coffee creamer, for example, or they might not restock the red wine. It was just inconsistent. * Room service was good overall, as was the cleaning service. * The Kids Club was excellent, in particular Karla and Eunice, but of whom took exceptional care of our kids. * The activity programming was great as usual, and Carlos and Zaya were excellent. They made sure everyone had a good time and they were accessible, fun, inclusive, and thoughtful. * We also liked that sunscreen was readily available and the fresh coconuts were a really nice touch. The drink service in general was excellent. * A few random thoughts to wrap up…the fireplaces for the casual post-dinner gatherings were really nice, and we appreciated the partly covered deck space by the middle pool with the floaties, ping pong, and kid games. Overall, we had a wonderful trip. It delivered on the Grand Velas promise, and we look forward to returning again at some point in the future!

Beautiful place, so peaceful, close to Cabo and its amenities. Probably, one of the most beautiful resorts in Los Cabos. One thing only (4 stars for that reason) the surrounding Art according to my taste is, well, not for me, not for the ocean. Some statues are frightening for me. But it could be just my perspective. The rest I love it! Keep on GV.

Grand Velas is an amazing resort! The accommodations are luxurious and the service is above and beyond! Our younger kids love playing in the room and raiding the mini bar. Our teenagers loved the swim up bar and floating in the pool. Even the grandparents in our group loved the variety of food and spending time with all of us together. The kids club and teen club are great additions too. We usually send the kids there for dinner while we ate at the fancy restaurants and they love getting to play instead of sitting still in a fancy restaurant. This trip we had a very young toddler, so we heard the amazing Samanta to babysit and she was outstanding! The toddler took to her right away and they had a great time every night. We normally go to Grand Velas Riviera Maya, which is very similar to Grand Velas Cabo. The Riviera Maya version is in the jungle, so it feels more secluded and quiet. The Cabo version is right on a main road, so it's very active and feels like you're in the middle of a fun, busy city. It's an easy ride away from the photogenic Cabo arches and mall. My family prefers Riviera Maya, the family we traveled with prefers Cabo. They are both wonderful!

The service and staff made all the difference. They were incredible, gracious and beyond helpful. The kids club was great for our older son (Karla is the best) and all the food was wonderful. Highly recommend for families!!!

This resort is in a beautiful setting and is lovely, well kept and very clean. The reason for my lower review is that we all came back with green hair and the food quality has slipped dramatically from our last visit and left us all with stomach aches for the duration of our stay. It feels as though there have been some cost cutting measures that have impacted guest experience.

Grand Velas Los Cabos has ruined Hotels & Resorts for me. Simply the most fantastic place I have ever stayed. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are gorgeous. Staff couldn't have been more kind, friendly, and attentive. Ana was my personal concierge and was amazing. She did everything she could to make this the best vacation of my life. The food at all restaurants are great. The Spa was great. Can't wait to come back and visit again.

Everything about this resort is spectacular. The location, rooms, restaurants, amenities, and service, is all over-the-top fabulous. Both adults and kids will have a great time. We were overwhelmed with the genuine kindness shown to us by all the staff. The experience we had at Grand Velas made for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

Grand Velas was THE nicest all-inclusive resort we've ever stayed at. The resorts landscaping was beautiful, the pools were at the perfect temperature each day, and the food was top tier. The breakfast buffet's food was fantastic and such a huge spread. The concierge service was on top of it, staff was friendly, and having a daily taco bar by the pool is a plus. Room service was on time each day and our great concierge Nishme was nice enough to surprise us with champagne and cake for my wife's birthday! Only thing we would change is having music at the adult only pool. Other than that, who could complain about having a margarita while whale watching in the ocean? We will back again soon!

Not enough words to convey how incredible this experience was! We typically avoid the all-inclusive experience, however, this place will convert even the most skeptical of travelers. Perfect for families and for those who just want to relax and not obsess over the details. Staff, environment, and atmosphere were rejuvenating and provided for a very memorable family vacation. The culinary experience was fantastic as well and highly recommended!

This was an absolutely fantastic location for our Presidents Club trip this year. By far the best food I've experience at an all-inclusive resort. The views are stunning and the staff went above and beyond to ensure you were having a exceptional time.

This place is absolutely beautiful. All the amenities are 5 star. The spa is the most relaxing experience. The water ceremony is a must! Loved the beautiful grounds and the view from each room is spectacular. Everything is top notch. Would go back in a heartbeat. Spectacular service, food and drinks.

We have gone to Grand Velas Los Cabos twice, and it is by far our favorite place to stay. Everything about it is top notch. We've felt completely pampered both times we've gone! The employees are phenomenal, the food is delicious, the amenities are great, and the overall experience is unbeatable. Sometimes at all-inclusive resorts the food is pretty average, but not at Grand Velas! The food is fantastic. The atmosphere and vibe is so unique in each restaurant which makes it so much fun. We have recommended Grand Velas to all of our friends, and I know we will be back in all the years to come!

Awesome resort with extremely pleasant staff ready and willing to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Pretty much didn't have to lift a finger. Food and drinks brought to you by the pool all day. Only negative if there is one is that due to strong currents your not able to swim anywhere along the beach front (same with any resort you stay at along the same strip). We were able to see turtles hatch and make their way down to the sea as well as whales from the hotel Infinity pool. There are two great kids clubs onsite (open till 11pm) if you want to have a date night with your spouse

This resort is unmatchable. Everything from the exquisite food to the jaw dropping views, this resort is worthy 5 star at every corner. I love the options of restaurants, which gives the feeling of choice that you don't often get at an all inclusive. The staff are all so nice and accommodating. The SPA is top notch and gives the ultimate relaxation experience. The only small thing I would change at Grand Velas is the age restriction on some of the restaurants. I feel like if you have a teen that is a few months short of the age restriction they should allow them to be accompanied by their parents. I can't wait for our next vacation here at paradise.

I will say this when you walk into this hotel prepared to be blown away by the view. The flowers are amazing From the balconies of the different rooms. You will instantly feel as though you are in paradise as you are greeted with a glass of champagne. This place is all inclusive and pretty pricey but well worth it in my opinion. If you like a luxury experience with your family and are prepared to pay a few extra dollars and maybe worth your time to visit. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant and courteous. The breakfast buffet provided a little bit of everything that allows one to indulge in their hearts desire. I only visited the steak and seafood restaurant but it was a great experience. The food came out delicious and I really enjoyed it. The beach is also accessible by walking and lounge. Chairs are also provided to lay as close to the water as you can. But again the water is choppy and it's not worth swimming.
