Wish I could’ve found this place earlier in my vacation. Margarita are very tasty and strong. Place is chill and beautiful with many “stickers/posters” around the whole place. Employees are friendly and attentive to your needs. Tried the banana bread beer and it was actually tasty and refreshing. Hate that I found this place one day before leaving playa!

You have to order food with your drink to be allowed to stay here which I think is cheeky- it's called a bar not restaurant. (Even restaurants allow you to stop for just a drink). We didn't even come when it was busy (see picture) so not sure why you can't just stop for a drink?! Ridiculous. Appreciate the response from the owner regarding it now being a rule due to the Government - this should have been explained to us there and then, as it felt just like a request from the establishment at the time.

It was so nice to be in a bar that actually had a good craft beer selection. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable and it was nice to sit outdoors and people watch on 5th while drinking good beer.

I've been to Club de la Cerveza twice now. The first time was in 2015 and as a proper beer nerd I checked if it still existed when we booked our trip to Mexico. Fortunately it did and it is still an amazing spot for some lovely beers. As a Dutchman I am, for obvious reasons, not bothered with the Belgian and Dutch beers, but they got am amazing European selection of beers. So if you do not have these beers available in your region they are a more than lovely choice! The thing I like the most is the local / Mexican beers they have. Do not hesitate to tell the guys at Club de la Cerveza your preferred style, because the chances are quite significant that they have something just for you!

Fantastic beer bar! The rotating selection of beers keeps things new and they even get some rare, tough to find beers. Even had Old Rasputin russian imperial stout on draught last month! Cant ever find that in the states even. The staff is very friendly. And they usually have good music playing. The patio is a great place to meet friends or to just relax with a tasty brew and watch the foot traffic on la Quinta. Food is good and freshly prepared. Definitely a must visit in playa.

This is THE place to go in Playa if you love craft beer. Amazing selection of local and beers from abroad. Great music playing, friendly staff and delicious food. I’d be here every night if I could.

So excited for beer in another country but would recommend that other folks used to IPAs in the States stick with darker beers. Both IPAs I ordered were oxidized and one had a best buy of March 2023 so I'm sure it's handling and not manufacture. The darker beers were fantastic and we would go for more if there was time!

Best I've seen on 5th ave for craft beer. If your getting sick of the old modelo corp beers this is the place. So happy I came across this place. I almost exclusively drink craft beer in my hometown of san diego. Of course san diego has a well known craft beer scene. I recently discovered many good ales coming out of ensenada baja ca now the beers have made there way all the way to playa del carmen and this place has them! Cheers!

Nice selection of beers, Mexican and international. Also some local draft beers. The whole staff knows about beers so you can ask for recommendations depending on your mood. The burgers are delicious, perfect combination with a beer. From 22:00 on, it's getting crowded almost every day, so be patient if you need to wait for a table. Now they have wireless terminal for card payment no more standing to the bar to pay (was also nice to have a quick chat about beers) but with more people it's a better idea to don't stand in the way of the guys coming to bring happiness (in shape of beer) to the tables. Club de la Cerveza it's also a verified venue on Untappd. On Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's they have some special stuff to offer, so don't miss those dates. On tap specials every week.

Great beer selection the Perro Del Mar IPA was great. Hector is a great server. Greeted us nicely and even hurried over to help my friend and I clean up a spilled drink right when it happened as he saw it from across the bar.

Great selection of beers! Cocktails are delicious. Had the hamburguesa casera de res and onion rings and they were amazing. Better burger than I can get at home. Staff are friendly, attentive, helpful and kind. We keep coming back and hope to be back next year. I've noticed the help they provide to the local community too. I wanted to update this. I have the hardest time surprising my husband. I asked where the best place to get a birthday cake from was and they went and got it! It was the best surprise. I can't wait to be back next year!

Awesome atmosphere and a must visit for local beer drinkers visiting Playa del Carmen wanting to try local Mexican beer offerings. They also have cocktails and everything else if you have a friend that doesn't like beer.

Was excited to find craft beer in playa! Cool Spot, good vibes, attentive and kind staff, if I had found this sooner on my trip I’d probably become a regular 😂. They have bottled beers and a couple of options on draft, they also have some food options.

Positive experience overall- service was really great. Recommend the blue cheese burger, craft beer was superb!

This is our favorite place to have a cold cerveza. They have good draft beers as well as bottles and cans that you won't find anywhere else in Playa. There's good music playing and everyone is always friendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ABSOLUTELY MUST VISIT!!! Excellent selection of international and domestic beers. The bartender, Hector, was amazing and provided great recommendations. If you’re looking for a snack, the onion rings are out of this world when paired with the chipotle mayo sauce. LGBTQ+ friendly. Great music, great vibe, definitely will be making this a regular spot in Playa del Carmen.

Was hunting for stout all over Playa. Even the Irish pub has no Guinness. This bar has 6, yes SIX different stout beers. Thank you for making this old aussie happy.

Best beer place in Playa. They have many mexican craft beers and also many internacional beers. The french fries are sooo good! The bar tenders are all very nice, its always such a treat going there. I am going to miss it!

Had excellent service here. Our server spoke good English and was very helpful with navigating the extensive beer menu to select a beer that suited my taste. Great spot to chill for craft beer and cocktails.

Love this place! Great appetizers and beers from around the world. Nice atmosphere. Will be back.
