California Ranch Market

Supermarket

😐 Great selection of organic, gluten-free etc but found it very pricey. Great if you need something you can’t find anywhere else (for me red vines) but found more local places that were less expensive. Location is great and easy to find People often mention find, store, Cabo, expensive, Great, market, items, organic, great, selection,

Sells all kinds of GF, Vegan, and grass-fed items like you would see at an American Whole Foods Market or Sprouts. Very pricy, but that is to be expected. Ex. Udi’s 4pk muffins are $10 USD vs $5 in the US Almond milk is far more expensive at 330MX (roughly $18 US) for a carton that is no more than $5 US in the states. Would still recommend shopping here if you’re like me and have dietary restrictions.

Omg expensive as heck! But if you need something you can't find elsewhere like gluten-free or dairy-free or what you're used to getting in the US, this is the place. Just expect to pay at least twice as much as you normally would in the states. But hey, it's available. *You can find non-dairy milk (almond, coconut and soy) at local markets for better prices.

Simply amazing. More gluten free food than we have seen in the largest cities, more and better gourmet foods than almost anywhere we have seen traveling in Mexico. The store is bright and clean, shelves neat and full, staff friendly and helpful. We didn't find anything out of date and there was no dust, even on the things you can't imagine sell that frequently. They had every single category of food. Again, simply amazing. Six stars!

Great food choices, but pricey! Don't forget to budget for the taxes (16%) and gratuity added to the bill.

It's like a mini whole foods. It's also may be the most expensive grocery store in Cabo. Located next to the richest neighborhood in Cabo, so it's not surprising, but they overcharge for non imported items because they can.

We popped in after visiting the Marina for lunch and found a great little market with all the essentials plus more. They have a great selection of California wines, plus I found my favorite bottled tea (Tejava), that I sometimes find hard to locate in the states! Really nice store within walking distance to Playa Grande.

Extremely helpful during our stay in Cabo. I have several food allergies and was more than happy to find this beautiful market. It's like trader Joe's and whole foods had a baby.

Cute little shop with some products you usually can't find somewhere else, but very expensive. $6 USD for canned pumpkin? C'mon!!!

If you are into natural or healthy food, this is a great market. Huge selection of things- probably the biggest of its kind that I’ve seen in Mexico. High prices... but so is Whole Foods. Nice and clean

Fantastic market. I've been in Cabo for 6 days and I'm just discovering this market. They have nonfat milk, low-fat string cheese, and just about every kind of chocolate you can imagine. It's damned expensive, but it's well worth it. Drive out of your way to get to this place.

This is the best market/ grocery store you'll find in Cabo. The equivalent to whole foods and down to earth. Also pricey. But aye. What did you expect?

Great place for drinks, water and snacks..Prices are not high..

It’s like a very very small Trader Joes and the only place in Cabo that carries fresh sauerkraut. Which is a very good thing if you get sick in Cabo, necessary to replenish your stomach acid.

The only place in Los Cabos that has Crown Royal (that I know of)! Friendly staff. Found a few other items that are hard to come by here. Like Tex-Mex taco seasoning.

Good organic and fresh food store close to the marina in Cabo. Higher prices for items in this store as you might imagine for this organics based merchandise. Friendly staff.

Wish I read the reviews properly before coming here. Spent a stupid amount on only a few items and now I just feel really naive

Ridiculous prices! $30USD for a regular size jar of Maratha natural almond butter?! No thanks!

  • 5/5 Meredith M. 11 months ago on Google
Excellent selection! As far as stores that import specialty health food, it is less expensive than others in the area (or in Mexico in general) and has a lot of organic and gluten-free, dairy-free etc which is so nice!

You can find so many things from the US that you can't usually find in Mexico here. Flavored cream cheese, spices, cookies and cereal, even vegetables. They have frozen bagels and English muffins, veggie burgers, Kettle chips and kombucha. Prices are a bit steep compared to the US. They also have a few cleaning products and toiletries, a couple of tables to sit outside and parking.

  • 1/5 Axel E. 3 years ago on Google
    Overpriced, few options

  • 5/5 John Gernon G. 3 years ago on Google
This market is conveniently located and has all the products you would expect to find at Whole Foods in the states. Being able to cook vegan would have been much more difficult had I not had access to California Ranch. Tofu, oak & almond milk, vegan cheese, Dyia frozen pizza, Siete chips. All the luxury food items of home in Cabo.

If you’re a California native and you can’t be arsed to trek to Walmart for some everyday essentials, and more importantly are willing to pay a premium for that good oat milk, then this place is for you. It’s got all your whole foods and trader joes style stuff, not ideal if you were doing a big self catering shop, but perfect to grab some odds and ends

  • 4/5 Tamera B. 6 years ago on Google
Not as nice as the San Jose del Cabo store but still a decent selection bof organic, natural and gourmet items. Limited produce but they do have hard to find produce like spaghetti squash, lemons, and sweet potatoes. Big selection of Bob's Red Mill products.

In A Nutshell: -If you are staying in the ritzy neighborhood of Pedregal & need some snacks, California Ranch Market has you covered. -Here you'll find a wide range of healthy & unhealthy snacks, beverages (i.e. kombucha, wine, water, sodas & energy drinks). Overall, this is a good store to grab some snacks while you enjoy your vacay away.

Small but great selection and close to our resort. All healthy options which we usually need while in Cabo....but also have wine and beer!
