Fantastic food, iconic place and good service. Not too pricey either!

Great service and delicious food!!! I'm telling you, you won't regret coming here. There's something for everyone in the family at a much more reasonable price than most food places around here.

Nice cozy place.. Ribeye was perfect. Ordered French fries, only I didn't get French fries. More like thin sliced potatoes with tempura batter. Never had anything like it before. So good had to give two tips.

Lindsey was our server and she made our dinner experience really great. Food is good and definitely a good place for some steak. There's a lot of variety to choose from.

Even though it's called tavern, but for us it worked out as best Italian restaurant we've visited so far. Reasonable prices, big plates and most delicious pastas (take side of soup and will not regret). One disadvantage: no outdoor sitting, but it seems normal for lake Tahoe area.

We had made reservations for 8 and was greeted at the door and taken to our seats. The waiter was welcoming. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered our drinks and we each placed our orders. Their shrimp appetizer was delicious. My steak of perfect. Everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. My 4 year old loved the clam chower which he did not share. The price was reasonable. I definitely would go back here.

Atmosphere was a little dark, typical tavern pub. A couple of locals sitting at the bar. I got the 1/2 BBQ Chicken with a loaded baked potato. It was good, I'm not sure about $29.00 good though. My wife got the American Burger with fries. It was ok at best, definitely not worth $17.00. Appetizer: We got the breaded mushrooms, $14.00 was a bit steep but they were definitely good. Service was excellent, my drink never got below half before my waiter promptly refilled it and left the carafe of ice tea for me. If your into local bar and pub scene, give it a try . My total was about $87.00 with a tip, just for dinner, coffee and ice tea.

Nice and welcoming staff. There was snow all over, so we didn't get to go on the lake, but had some good food after 21/2 hour drive

Fantastic dinner. We ended up here after a disappointing experience at a restaurant near by. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The Mediterranean fettuccine was PACKED with seafood and the sauce was delicious.

Chicken wings were great. Chili was top tier. Steak was on point. Will definitely be back. There's a couple places to choose from on this block, you won't be disappointed.

LOVED the fries! Don’t like the veggie burger it was mushy and falling apart. Pasta wasn’t al dente, but tasted good.

A perfect storm of rustic hardware and construction. This review is for the karaoke. One of the worst sound systems I’ve ever experienced in my life. Along with my other 12 I’m sorry 20 other coworkers. All commented on how terrible the sound was. Absolutely zero bass, not even 1%. The mids sounded like highs, and the high sounded like screeching nails on a chalkboard. What made it even worse, this place does not understand audio as an art. The volume was on max and completely unnecessary. It took away from actually enjoying people singing to basically having to wear earplugs forcefully. It’s not necessary to crank the music as loud as it will go. That’s not what people enjoy nor does it create an awesome atmosphere. It just shows how completely uneducated your bar is on the subject of audio. More often than not, that will create a negative memory in peoples minds. This entire system needs to be completely overhauled and tuned. And whoever is in charge of turning up the volume, please put it on half I promise you you will get better results from people enjoying themselves. It’s a proven fact. If what I say was not true, you would not see dedicated audio engineers walking around music venues constantly tweaking the music in secret.

My new favorite spot in town! Day shift Bartender named Willin is amazing! Super outgoing and makes the best drinks. Ask for his signature cocktails, they won’t disappoint! The interior has a classic old-school wooden tavern feel to it…super cozy! Huge menu selection with tasty dishes. An absolute gem!!

The pace is small but you got your money's worth, the food was delicious

Everything is way better than you think when you walk in. The atmosphere seems uninviting at first. However the gentleman running this place was prompt super friendly and the food was great and came out pretty quick too. No reason to not go here. Awesome find.

Best fried pickles I ever had. Had the BBQ baby back ribs and they were excellent. Smoky and crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Cole slaw was great as well, very light. Service was phenomenal and dog friendly on the patio. Great beer, great food, and great service. We'd go back!

We we're there last week for the Karaoke night. It was like I imagined a really fun-karaoke bar my whole life. In Germany it's not that cool. Everyone sang together, had fun together. We met so many nice people there and the staff was so friendly too. Hope to bei there again one day!

Atmosphere very nice, service. Excellent! However, the food, hot was the only quality that came to mind. I had a beef barbecue sandwich and the beef nor the barbecue had any taste. Very disappointed. I will try again because the service was amazing. I will try something else.

It's a cozy bar/restaurant. It was a great quick but filling bite to eat before we went on our way. Customer service was great and loved fresh air flowing in from the windows. Parking is weird and not many spots but still recommend!

The food we got here was perfectly cooked to our liking. What made it even better was the different batter style of potatoes/fries we got...Wow...we definitely would recommend anyone in the area to come try them..especially the fries.
