My father was there for 3 weeks. The place looks very clean and nice looking, but the lack of communication was very poor. My father was there over a week before I got someone to call me and give me some information or even ask me about my father. When they did call it was very hurtful that there was still no true insight into his progress. Another week went by and still no answer from no one, until I requested him to be discharged and then the person that did call was social service asking me why and then sent me a letter indicating that if he was still there after the 15 he would be charged.,but I had requested that he be discharged on 08/10/21 but they could couldn't get home health till the following Monday.also how do you have a person in a facility and don't have access to a phone. I was told on several occasions that Administrators would be calling me,but no call yet. Upset and disappointed that I work in this field and couldn't get the real help that my dad needed.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The staff (for the most part)....INCONSIDERATE!!!!! With the Pandemic they are very much aware that people are unable to visit their love ones. My mother was just released from the hospital, they have no phones for you to speak with the patients in the rooms. They only have one phone, that they Do NOT answer, or if they do...you are disconnected! They are low-key RUDE in this place!!!!! There was one worker that worked the night shift when my mom got there that was extremely nice, her name was Jackie. I am looking to file a former complaint against this facility. There has to be accountability for their lack of communication and consideration during the pandemic. Channel 7 News will also be contacted!!!

There are not alot of very good rehab places this one isBelow average. Although I made myself available 24 hrs for communication, rarely did they communicate! They went out of their way to lie to me! They had 2 weeks or more the first sessions, then added 10 more days without informing myself or my sister. What a mistake I made not realizing I could have gotten her out and have therapy at home which was provided after the additional 10 days. I communicated with them often about not getting my mother out of bed early enough. The average hours she was left in bed was 16 hrs left in bed which was cause for a serious bed sore that went untreated or even looked at for 2 weeks. Then when we found it they made it a point to call me at 11 pm to lie about it. I will never allow my mother to be taken there again if it was the only place available. Enough for now. Yes there is more.

My father was a patient at Regents Park in Sunrise for several weeks, recovering from a hip fracture complicated by a long term lung disorder. He is almost 92 and this was a very difficult time for him. The staff, nursing and PT, were just terrific. The social services staff was more than kind and extended every courtesy to us. I have only good things to say about this place. The food, the services, the therapy -- everything was done well and in a distinctive spirit of service. Can't ask for more than that!

The staff here a extremely nice and professional- but i wish it didn't smell like stale urine in the lobby when I walked in... The decor is lacking .... That's definitely a turn off..... Management should invest in some interior design.......

Stay as far away from this facility if you love your loved ones and expect them to be rehabilitated to return home. First off I did a tour of the facility before making a decision what was told to me was completely opposite of what my loved one received and what made it worst I picked up on the red flags within the first day. When we arrived at the facility they took 3 and a half hours to assess my love one, I had to go to the nursing station. I then ask when my love one would received their medication, I was told mid night, keep in mind we arrived at 4:36pm. I ask them why wasn't my love one medications on hand upon arrival as the medical report was sent at 10am. Another red flag the facility is not equipped with the correct items needed for a person who is bed bound, they don't have the bed wedge that is needed for turning the patient, they don't have the Kangaroo machine that flushes both water and feeding for patients who are on the peg. When I asked I was told I can provide it myself!! My love one is diabetic and on insulin and should be tested 3 to 4 times per day, they were only doing testing 2 times every 12 hours which resulted to my love one sugar being 405. Then the so called nurse cause I will not address the staff as nurses as the questions I asked their answers were very questionable on the knowledge they have. My love one was check in on a Thursday and when I moved them from the facility to the hospital my love one had poop that showed they had not been cleaned from the day I admitted them in Regent care as the poop was drying on the public area. I was told my love one hemoglobin was low which I asked when would blood transfusion be administered I was told I had to wait until Monday upon the doctor's return, which was very crazy!!!!!! The nurses are rude and does not know how to speak to anyone when I went to take my love one from their care the tending nurse told her colleague not to call the ambulance and I should do it myself!!! They claim they care for patients with trach which indeed they have have skill set or experience in that care as when I requested for my love one to be suction the nurse gave me the device to do it myself. My love one was not even being monitored or sectioned as I went and saw with my own eyes and even the paramedics when they arrived that my love one was aspirating. Upon going to the EMERGENCY ROOM , MY LOVE ONE BLOOD PRESSURE, BLOOD SUGAR, HEART RATE AND PLUS THEY HAD A URINARY TRACK INFECTION!!!!!! So please STAY AWAY FROM THE FACILITY. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!!

This facility is very organized and proper. The customer service there is through the roof and Etienne is impeccable , he helped me transition my grandpa to long term health care and it relieved so much stress off my shoulders. He’s honestly great and the whole place is very nice and clean. Totally recommend to anybody in need , just talk to Etienne’ or Gianni’s!

Regents has an amazing nursing staff and administration. My mother in law was here for rehab and she was able to come home quickly! She got all the assistance and care she needed. They're all very attentive and caring. I would recommend this facility as their quality of care is marvelous.

Mother was transported today. They failed to send her medication with her and did not send the script for her meds. Their reply was not their issue. Asked for a call from management or the social worker and got a Not Happening response.

Great facility and excellent nursing staff! My mother in law was there for almost 3 months and she will return for her next knee replacement. Food was tasty and always to the right temperature. Special thanks to DON, Mercedes! Great leadership!

I brought my dad toRegents pk of Sunrise after his stay at Fmc. From the minute we brought him in..the admissions dept was so very warm and welcoming. The nursing dept was also so very warm, kind and caring. The nursing staff was attentive to all his needs. The physical therapy dept was outstanding. Phone conferences were done with me re my dads progress over the phone..due to the covid virus. They kept me very well informed. Upon discharge he was like a new man. Thank you Regents pk. I would highly recommend this facility ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

I visited my aunt at Regents Park of Sunrise this past week. The facility is the best I have seen at a level of nursing care, the way it should be. Staff is friendly, you get a smile everywhere you go. Best of all, I had the opportunity to meet the business office manager, Mr. Allen Masconi, such a gentleman, this kind person not only knows his business, but knows the way to care for each resident. He is not just a "billing" individual, he cares, he is compassionate on everything that happens with the residents and the family members. Mr. Masconi reflects to be right person to look after each resident's care. I am glad, my family chose a great place to be taken care of, Regents Park of Sunrise. Visit and see for yourself. Vivian

I can not praise the therapy department enough. Oliver, Junior,Iben & Gerry have been so dedicated to my dad Roberts care. These men motivated and 350lb man to be able to stand where he had been immobile since Sept. It takes 2-3 to move and rehab dad and they have been creative, skilled, motivating, professional, kind and professional. We appreciate how you've gotten Dad to stand and exercise. My family thanks you.

My family has had an amazing experience with the care my father Robert has received. Starting with GiGi who stayed late to welcome us and stayed in contact daily his first week and beyond. Even as recent as this morning..although perhaps not her job has responded quickly& professionally to us. Her follow up and follow thru is unmatched in any facility we've encountered in Florida during these last 6 months. Thank you Regent

Best rehab facility my mom’s been too. She had to leave to another facility for long term but the staff were great and the food as well. Etienne and Giannis helped me a lot to get my mom in. The whole administration team were very supportive and friendly.
