Miami Beach Pediatrics

Pediatrician

šŸ˜  We have been hunting around for a good pediatrician in the Miami Beach area. Unfortunately, Miami Beach Pediatrics was a similar experience to some of the larger companies with multiple locations. We used this office for 4 visits and averaged wait times of about 45 minutes. The doctors seemed hurrie... People often mention office, staff, time, great, children, experience, referral, didn,

This place is the worst pediatrician office Iā€™ve ever experienced, my baby was suffering for two months! Dr pearlmen totally disregarded when I told her my child may have something in her nose, she said thereā€™s nothing there itā€™s a a cold the a month later sinus infection, she barely looked in my babyā€™s nose to see if there was anything there.the 1st month my baby had this terrible pain and smell runny nose. The 2nd month sheā€™s said itā€™s a sinus infection switch my babyā€™s medication 3x in one month the whole time my baby had something stuck in her nose!! After I told her that the 1st month! This is by far the worst place to take your kid to! I will never in life recommend this place especially her as my childā€™s pediatrician.

We have been hunting around for a good pediatrician in the Miami Beach area. Unfortunately, Miami Beach Pediatrics was a similar experience to some of the larger companies with multiple locations. We used this office for 4 visits and averaged wait times of about 45 minutes. The doctors seemed hurried and the office staff was not knowledgable about our insurance or co-pays. We'll keep looking for a practice that respects our time and makes us feel valued.

This is a great office best doctors I have had for my children. The front desk is awesome! They are very overwhelmed and do what they can dealing with the large amount of patient volume. Dr E And D Pearlman are great and their approach is like no other. The wait times are sometimes long and while I may be on hold to schedule appts itā€™s worth it to see the best Doctors in Florida. I see complaints here but if you want the best sometimes waiting is a small task to get your children the best care.

Dr. Eisenberg has gone above and beyond in understanding, treating and going to the root cause of my childā€™s asthma. Since very early on he started noticing early signs and we got hands on finding the cause. After 4-5 months of eliminating foods and re introducing them we went from 7 emergency hospital visits for asthma attacks in a year to only one last year. He is doing great now, not only his asthma is under control but his immune system is the strongest. We are so thankful for the Doctor and wonderful nurses at Miami Beach Pediatrics, they always go to the root cause of illnesses and never prescribe unnecessary medicine.

I wanted to love this pediatrician, but the experience was bad. Went there with my 5 days old newborn, right after C-section. We received very poor treatment by stuff. The doctor seemed very impersonal and insensitive. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit. The office is decorated well but very cramped.

Iā€™m so relieved to change my 1 star review to 4 stars . Since I started taking my daughter to MBP they have made a lot of improvements. The staff is much more considerate , wait times are no longer offensive and I appreciate the holistic approach to pediatric care . Thank you so much for hearing the complaints of your patients and making the necessary improvements

I will never stress enough on how bad this facility is. They are lazy and never answer the phone. They keep asking for money after several attempts to explain to the WHOLE staff and the doctor himself that they sent a wrong copay and I still get money requests after several calls and emails. They cancel appointment without a call and it happened twice I went there (asking for time off at work) and the doctor was not in the office but nobody called to let me know or reschedule. They also do not care about vaccinations for infants and kids unless you remind them every time. Worst experience ever, I am glad my kids are not longer under their supervision!

The user experience for this practice is HORRIBLE. I loved Dr. Eisenburg and his medical approach for my son who had been recently diagnosed with type 1, but after only 1 visit in 2019, we could never go back. We got charged and extra $40 because of my child's diagnosis. I don't even think that is legal, but 4YEARS LATER, I finally had the displeasure of dealing with an office manager, less than helpful, but happy to charge the extra $40- VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Extremely unprofessional place, rude staff and highly unknowledgeable. Both of my kids have been patients at this clinic for a long time and I have been very cooperative with them on everything they ask; they are either always busy, speaking with the worst attitude and hanging up the phone on parents. I am never taking my kids there again; that place should be reported to DCF unless their entire staff is replaced.

I have been taking my children for the past 6 years and I couldnā€™t ask for a better pediatrician. Staff is great too, specially the assistants who have been there for a long time. The treatment feels personable and high quality. The doctos really get to know your children and their histories.

We are grateful of Dr. Eisenberg and his team for their professional work and genuine sense of service. We have been taking our children to Dr. Eisenberg since 2013. Our daughter suffered a severed atopic eczema at that time, and after trying several different pediatricians, we found him and agreed with his approach in finding the root cause of the illness. The healing path has not been easy, it took several months, but we always felt supported, never judged, by him and his team. Thankfully, our daughter finally full recovered her health. We still take our children to his office and our experience is always great. Again, thank you Dr. Eisenberg and your team!

I donā€™t even know where to startā€¦.. First of all the constant putting you on hold for 15 minutes or just hanging up on you. The waiting for 2 weeks for a Neorologist referral that I had to ask for, wasnā€™t even recommended. As a matter of fact Dr. Eisenberg told me he didnā€™t see why my daughter needed speech therapy when I asked for the referral for that like two years ago. Turns out sheā€™s not only needing speech but also OT which he also didnā€™t see why I needed a referral. Itā€™s seriously laughable as she has actually now been diagnosed on the spectrum and It obvious little things. SMH. Complete disregard for patients health and well being. When my daughter was continually sick It Also took me to send myself to an ENT to see the problem which resulted in taking out her tonsils and putting tubes in her ears. None of these end results have been helped for by these people, if I didnā€™t have common sense I would still be there trusting she didnā€™t need any help. When I brought up my concerns to dr pearlman about the way the office is run and how thereā€™s no communication there because I made 3 telehealth appts and no one ever called me, she told me she has NO CONTROL over office staff. Lol are you serious? Oh and if you need a paper for school make sure you get It while youā€™re there if not they will charge you cash for sending you a school paper to start school. I was recommended a test that would be $600 and would somehow ā€œhelpā€ see why she was behind somehow. I paid the money and I didnā€™t see anything helpful at all there was no conclusions. Just a big waste of money cause thatā€™s all they care about there. Not ONCE did they ask me why I needed a self given Neorologist referral. They didnā€™t even bother to ask if she was having seizures or what was the cause I needed the referral, instead I told them my appt was that week and got the referral sent to the Neorologist office two weeks later when they got It together cause after 5 phone calls. Just overall horrible and Iā€™m sorry I ever send any of my friends there.

Terribly rude staff, inaccurate billing, appointments cancelled with little notice and long wait times are just some of what you will experience at this practice. Dr Perlman is great but her staff is the worst.

We love it here. I am a mother of 3 little ones and I have always been given great service from the Doctor and staff. The wait time have gotten a little longer than before however when I am with the Doctor I do not feel rushed. He takes his time and answer all of my questions (I usually have many) The nurses are super nice, the front desk staff is always very friendly and works with me to set my appointments for all three of my children in one visit.
