The staff is efficient, pleasant and professional. The office well organized, clean and welcoming. I've had both cervical and lumbar fusions performed by Dr. Hyde over the past two years. I am elated with the results. I was doing something around the house the other day and it suddenly dawned on me how good I feel. I've can't recall the last time I felt this good. I am trying to remember the last time I had to take something for pain and I honestly cannot recall. I hesitated for many years about having surgery as many I spoke to many people who were disappointed with the outcome of their procedure. A colleague suggested I consult with Dr. Hyde. He had had a procedure with Dr. Hyde and was now pain free and active. I followed his suggestion and saw Dr. Hyde. He made me feel at ease and explained everything to me and we discussed options. Surgeries went well as did recovery which was good. I went from having repetative nerve blocks every few weeks to not even a Tylenol now. I am able to be me again. I am grateful for Dr. Hyde's experience as well as his staff's .

Dr. Hyde and his staff have been excellent in treating my herniated lower back discs. Pre and post surgery support is above par. My name is Juanita f. Rodriguez. The review shows as Francisco Rodriguez because I am using my husband's email. I live in Panama and my e mail does not work when I try to post this for some unknown reason. This is the reason I never wrote a review before. In late July 2018 I flew to Miami from my home in Panama seeking help for an excruciating back pain. On 1 Aug 2018 Dr Jonathan Hyde performed a Lumbar Laminectomy with Coflex implant on me. The first two days after the surgery were very painful for me and I was surprised because another lady had the exact same procedure I had on the same day by Dr Hyde and she felt absolutely no pain. I recovered slowly for the next few days and as I increased my exercises I started to feel better until all the pain went away. It has now been 3 years since my surgery and I have been feeling fine until I had an accident in Mar 2021 while visiting my family in Puerto Rico. A dog knocked me down and I hurt my back. I went to see a neurologist in Panama and he ordered MRIs and X rays but found nothing. The Coflex implant was still perfectly in place. The doctor thinks I have a muscular problem. So, I'm back in Miami to see my beloved Dr Hyde. I was so happy and grateful for his work and all the help I received from his staff that I would not consider visiting any other Doctor. I was even more grateful when they were able to find me an appointment for the following day. I reviewed all the reviews on Dr Hyde and all were 5s except for two that were 1s. Both of them seemed to indicate that Dr Hyde declined to perform procedures that the patient wanted. This is a good example of Dr Hyde's ethics. He will not do something he does not believe is going to work. Other doctors would probably do it since the insurance would probably pay for it. I do not believe he has a God complex, but I'm convinced he is an excellent professional with excellent moral and work ethics. I'm confident you would not regret visiting Dr Hyde.

I was doctor Hyde’s medical assistant for 3 years and can genuinely say he’s a brilliant surgeon. He’s made of 100’s of patients live a better quality of life through his surgery approach. Patients report feeling less pain, reduced radiculopathy, and more functional mobility as in an easier time walking. I currently practice physical therapy and can see a difference between his patients and other surgeons patients post op. Please do your own research but Dr. Hyde will always get 5 stars in my book legendary orthopedic spine surgeon. If for some unforeseen reason myself or my family need a Laminectomy/discectomy or fusion I’m going to him.

I am so grateful for Dr. Hyde and his team. I had severe pain that ran down my leg that didn't let me live. Sleeping was hard, everyday walking, sitting, and I couldn't even exercise. His team went above and beyond to get the surgery approved by my insurance and they're very kind. The surgery happened at Aventura Hospital, and the healthcare workers there were so nice as well. The first few days after the surgery was hard, of course, but the pain I had before is completely gone and 3 weeks after surgery, I'm now walking 3-4 miles everyday. I'm so happy I'm able to get some form of exercise in. If you need back surgery and have the opportunity to go to Dr. Hyde, do it! Be patient with yourself after the procedure and follow his post op instructions. You'll be able to do what you love again with no pain. Thank you Dr. Hyde! I'm forever grateful <3

Worse doctor ever !!!! He did a lumbar fusion surgery L5-S1 . My pain and limitations have worsened drastically after Dr. Hyde surgery and now he does not want to take responsibility. He doesn't care about his patients and their well-being, he only cares about money. Even if you suffer daily, Dr. Hyde will work 100 percent in favor of worker compensation. DON'T PUT YOUR SPINE IN THE HANDS OF DOCTOR HYDE, his consultations don't even last two minutes, he thinks he's a superstar but he's stupid !!!!
