A lovely morning Miami experience. Delicious Cuban coffee and Cuban sandwich (enough for two meals). Javier was friendly and accommodating— refreshing compared to the usual Miami service. I felt taken care of and happy! Fun music and atmosphere. Decorative and breezy. Recommended :) especially if staying at the Chelsea hotel behind the cafe

Great food! We love Cuban food and we’re no experts on Cuban food but this location tasted pretty authentic. The restaurant itself looked very cool, tropical but also homey. The food is really filling and you really get full from the amount of food you eat here. Seasoning on all the food is great and a nice mix of everything! One of our favorite spots to go for Cuban food in Miami Beach!

***Platinum Diamond Review*** Be prepared to taste some of the BEST Cuban food you have EVER eaten in your life! Every single bite was perfection from beginning to end. The waitresses were very attentive. They have little birds and lizards that will come up on the patio to hang out. The outside seating has fans blowing. Even when it is hot, it still feels nice. When ordering, the Ropa Vieja Grandma Style is something I HIGHLY recommend. The flavors are incredible! It is everything you want in a meal. Go! You will not be disappointed.

Had a solid meal here with friends. Sat by the bar - be aware there is only one bathroom to my knowledge that is shared with the hotel attached it seems, can be a little limiting. The paella was good but a bit overpriced at $36. Cubano was excellent as was the guacamole appetizer. Also had the Hemingway cocktail which was light and refreshing but not something I would order again, tried it out. Staff was pleasant and friendly.

Fantastic meal and drinks, all priced very nice. The classic mojito and margarita hit the spot. We ordered everything that Agustin "El mejor" recommended and it was all delicious. We had pork, beef, and chicken. Great atmosphere and great service.

Great service, great ambiance, and the food was inspiring. Claudia my waitress was accommodating and took great care during my stay. I had the snapper and old fashioned mojito. The drink was delicious with the sugar cane to finish the drink and the snapper was cooked to perfection! Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t regret!

I ordered the Paella…. Filled with peppers I felt like I was eating rice with peppers. Change the recipe…. It was watery and the rice was not cooked well. The fried steak churrasco was good but nothing amazing. we got to the restaurant there were many open tables but our seating attendant put us by the entrance. I didn’t feel welcomed and should have left except my friend wanted to have Cuban. People don’t only pay for food but ambiance… lower the prices if you are going to sit by the entrance. We spent 139$ which is not much but to put someone by the entrance is wrong. We came on a Sunday so instead of asking us for reservations when clearly you have open tables is ridiculous. The waiter was nice and honestly the only good part…. Real people are better than fake people

We had such a great experience coming for the first time in this restaurant and we loved it. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who found the best table for us (we needed a quiet spot because of the baby). The food presentation was great , beef was cooked soft and tender just how we like it. The protons are just the right size , so you don’t have to bring food out after you’re done. Staff was friendly and helpful, the sangria was delicious. We will be coming back in the future .

The atmosphere is so cute! It is a warm and welcoming environment with a cute Cuban touch. Our waiter Pedro was super friendly and efficient. I ordered the Paella Habanera. It was so DELICIOUS! The sauce on the rice with all of the seafood was chefs kiss. If you are in Miami and looking for something that’s worth your money look no further and try Havana Vieja!

The main dish portions were huge. We could barely finish the food. The atmosphere was great and I would recommend the restaurant. It was a phenomenal experience for my daughter's birthday. Pedro was very helpful in recommending food and drinks. A+

My husband and I were looking for something a little more casual with good atmosphere for dinner and we stumbled upon Havana Vieja. The food and drinks were outstanding. We got a couple mojitos and beef empanadas to start then split the large seafood platter for two. Everything was delicious and the portions were great. The service was also on point. Our server Mely was so sweet, attentive, and knowledgable. She recommended the Yuca fries as one of our sides and they were delicious! Great spot for a date night, highly recommend!

First of all- the service was top tier! The hostess was so kind and our server Lily provided the absolute best service! We would have been back just for her! It also helps that the food was incredible and fresh! We got the ceviche, paella, and plantains! Thank you to Lily & the rest of the wonderful staff and chefs! Best restaurant in Miami!

Everything about this place was excellent. I highly recommend the Shredded Beef Empanadas as an appetizer. My main entree was the Angus Skirt Steak which was flavorful and delicious. As for drinks, I recommend their classic mojito since they use real sugar cane for the drink!!! What stood out the most to me was towards the end, as my colleague and I finished our meal, they had more than two people clean our space so we can lay back and enjoy our drinks after a long week conference. Agustin was our server and made it a point to check on us. Overall, a lovely experience!!

Awesome spot to grab a bite to eat. Food was fresh and drinks were delicious. Melisa was my waiter and was very professional and attentive to my needs and also recommended a few places to visit in the city. Thank you for the hospitality. See you again soon. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my colleagues and friends in the area.

We decided to give this place a try and we are so happy we did! We were seated quickly and Gisela was our waitress, she was great! We started off with a few recommendations and everything was a amazing! The food is flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. And service was quick too! The homemade sauces added something special to the experience! Gisela was attentive and took care of us. We loved sampling food from each others orders. Everyone in my group was impressed with everything we tried! Our margarita pitcher was strong and enough to share! We sat outdoors on the patio and the weather was perfect! I would definitely come here again! And you should too!! :)

Food was ok. I was not really wowed. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t great. Someone else may love it. The staff is great! The kids loved their mango juice tho! Be ready to spend some $$$ tho cause it didn’t look like a $$$ restaurant but for meals for 2 adults and 4 kids we did ended up at nearly $500.

We had a great breakfast at Havana Vieja! The food was very flavorful and fresh. The Cuban coffee was delicious! The restaurant was decorated with vintage memorabilia from Cuba. Overall it was a great experience and the staff was so friendly! Our server Meli took great care of us! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Miami Beach.

I was so excited to finally have Cuban foods. Andrea was our server. She was kind and nicely explained when we asked. Recommend good foods, too. The food was good. My kids never had Cuban foods before, but they liked it.

This place was amazing. We loved the guacamole with the use of plantain chips instead of tortilla chips. The drinks were tasty, strong, and well crafted. Our waitress Julianna was the best!! Check our reviews at #T_vfooduniverse on Instagram.

We were down in Miami for my wife’s birthday, came across this treasure via Yelp. It was by far one of our favorite restaurants we visited while we were down there. Our server Pedro was absolutely fascinating and very hospitable. He checked on us throughout our dining experience and there was never a time we needed anything due to his attentiveness. The coconut Mojito’s are a must try in addition to the octopus and empanadas! If you’re in the south beach area do yourself a favor and stop by, ask for Pedro, you will not be disappointed.

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!!
