The food here was very delicious and so tasty. I had the Mi Pueblo and a cup of Cafe Americano. The black beans tasted so delicious, along with the perfectly cooked eggs. Arturo our sever was so very attentive and constantly had a smile on his face that made you feel so welcomed here. Let's not forget the beautiful Cuban music playing in the background. Incredible food and incredible service. Had only one night in Miami on our way back from Key West and we wanted Cuban. So happy we choose this place. She had the skirt steak and I had the paella. Both amazing. We started with the Guac and they supplied endless plantain chips to go with it. Vincenzo was an amazing server and took great care of us. Can't wait to come back when in town again!

Food was so so. The host was hospitable. However the servers were lackluster. Be warned there's an automatic 20% added to the bill for gratuity. So the servers have no incentive to be good at their job... And it shows. The food was really mediocre is best far better choices in the area. Small portions. Basically a tourist trap

Best Cuban restaurant that I’ve been to. WAY better than Versailles. MUST ORDER the lobster dish. Everyone here is very helpful and had a great waiter Alex. I was suspicious of the Google reviews but they were right. Did not disappoint! 5⭐️

Table of 5 immediately seated for a mid-week, late afternoon meal. Restaurant wasn't too busy but the atmosphere was festive and the food aroma was enticing. Service is friendly and fairly fast. The atmosphere, ambience, and decor, music volume is on point. Feels like a restaurant transported from Cuba. The food was very good, specifically the Cubano sandwich. Excellent value and very tasty. Most of the meals ordered were tasty. However, the overall value for price paid was not there. Over $40 for a large mojito? The signature seafood dish for 2 for $85 was visually pleasing but quality of the lobster was lacking. The grilled octopus was fantastic, though. And $5 for avocado slices on the side? Overall, food, restaurant, and service was very good but over priced.

Best cuban restaurant in town. I was greeted by the manager Gabriela who was very warm. Sergio then was my server and he was incredible. He suggested great options and was very fast and attentive. Ricardo also was very sweet and made sure that I had water at all times. Definitely coming back !! 5 stars are not enough for such a restaurant.

I wish we could give half stars because the food was excellent! Service wasn’t bad, just slow for drinks and entrees. Cuban was one of the best I’ve ever had. Manager was great and explained the kitchen was small and they were very busy (the restaurant was half full when we sat). Could have been staffing issues but overall it was a great meal, just took about 45 minutes longer than expected.

Sandra was amazing! She was helpful in assisting us in choosing perfect the perfect meal. Her smile and personality added to the charming and fun atmosphere of this amazing restaurant. We will come back and we hope she is working!

We stopped here after the beach by chance and it was the best random spot we got to experience in south beach. The atmosphere was excellent, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was packed with flavor and the portions were perfect. The drinks were delicious and strong. I had an all around great experience here. I would recommend if you’re looking to try Cuban at south beach.

Felipe was our server, and he was very nice, attentive, and good looking!!! Nice place. Good food. Price is worth the flavor. Good appetizer.. Shimp was great. My son had the salmon, a nice size salmon, potatoes, and fresh vegetables. I requested real plantains, and they were sweet.

Our lunch at La Mulata fabulous! Rosa was the best server - fun, informative, thoughtful and super helpful. She’s the sweetest and I hope you get the gift of meeting her. Our food was delicious - we ordered all sorts of dishes to sample, and each and every one was flavorful! Rosa also introduced us to fun new cocktails - SUCH a great place! Be sure to go if you’re in South Beach!!

So first, Emily was a wonderful and attentive server. She gave us some menu recommendations and was really great! The food was amazing. We each had a mojito and then and order of the beef and cheese croquettes and the octopus. These were amazing! The croquettes were one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. We then split a traditional Cuban sandwich, which was delicious! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

The food and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was great, right in the heart of south beach, sitting outside and eating was great. Drinks taste fresh with real ingredients. Food is very tasting. Not quite perfect for 5 stars but very close. Jenifer delivered excellent service, ask for her when you come.

We arrived to La Mulata in the middle of a storm and with no reservation so we ended up miserably sitting at a table outside in the rain. But Alfredo turned our entire experience around with his friendly attitude and attentiveness. We felt transported straight to Cuba with his conversation, delightful menu recommendations and salsa music in the background. Everything we tried was amazing, especially the octopus, paella and flan. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would :)

Emily was attentive, gave us great suggestions, and she was very friendly. The food was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Portions are big. It came with 5 meats, rice, beans, and plantains. We also had the empanadas and they were very good. I also had their large margarita and it was big. This place is authentic and worth it!

We ordered a paella, deep fried snapper and octopus and they were very good! Just seemed a bit over priced... In general, I recommend this restaurant, but i suspect there may be restaurants with as delicious dishes with better price.

I booked La Mulata Cuban restaurant for a family wedding welcome party. I had 55 people attend and Victor and his crew did everything to honor my requests to make this a fun and memorable experience for all. They were Ready for us when I arrived with my centerpieces already on the tables. My friends and family were talking about how great the food was for the entire weekend of festivities. The food looked and tasted spectacular! The bar was well staffed and made wonderful specialty drinks. The atmosphere was so Miami! The restaurant is bright and colorful. It was the hit of the weekend and met my every expectation. May I say, my expectations can be high! Thank you to the staff for making this party an event that my family will remember for years to come. The hostess (forgot her name) was attentive and accommodating. She had us covered! Always checking in with me and my guests.

Incredible experience at La Mulata! We were looking for a good Cuban food restaurant and we found it! Emily was our server for the night, she was so pleasant and always checking on us to make sure that we were happy with our food and made sure we were all having fun! We ordered multiple dishes and they all tasted delicious!!!! Our favourite dish was the Caribbean Octopus. Music and ambience was excellent! We can’t wait to come back 🙌

Great service from Jennifer! She was friendly and gave me a great recommendation for the paella. Paella was delicious and HUGE! If you want to eat around South Beach, come here and ask for Jennifer to serve you.

get this place on your radar for real!!! absolutely incredible service, ambiance, and food. we had a big group and they were incredibly accommodating. our server was an angel, so much fun and pleasant and helpful. the manager told me they have only been open for 6-7 months and i am so impressed with how good they already are in that time. 10/10!!!!

Top notch food and service. Franco was such a pleasure to have as our waiter. The food was delish and the drinks were on point. The only downfall is that it is located in Miami instead of New York! At least we got to have a great experience with wonderful decor as well while we were on vacation.

Had a fantastic seafood meal Cuban style! Very friendly and attentive waiter :) also the chicken was really good! For a starter I can recommend the salmon tartar! They also played Cuban music, which was really nice, sometimes a bit too loud for having conversations 😅 but the food was very good!
