👍👍 🚨Hidden gem alert!!! OMG you guys! That’s the least place in Miami Beach you expect to find the real gastronomic cuisine. But it is here, inside the Timeout Market. Everything here is amazing, I personally love Ensaladilla Rusa. Also try their octopus. (See pictures) I wish one day Lur would open... Lur is a wonderful new Basque inspired restaurant conveniently located in Time Out's marketplace just off Lincoln Rd. The menu is creative and the food is delicious. I went for lunch and sampled many things including the Strawberry Tomato gazpacho, Codfish Buneuelos, Patatas Bravas, Octopus with crushed tomatoes and the Angus Tenderloin steak sandwich. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Chef Aitor Garate Berasaluze puts so much love into his cuisine- everything is cooked, paired and presented to perfection. Sitting at the counter you can't help but feel you are in his own personal kitchen in Spain watching him work his magic. A true one of a kind culinary experience!

Giving 2 stars because the food was good, but price and service is not worth it. I feel totally ripped off. The meal was awkward with staff not offering much service. We were the only ones sitting there tonight and the only “service” from staff was a water refill and putting food in front of us. My husband and I asked for glasses of wine and this was a mistake because the price was not disclosed. The bottle opened was $130. We were not told we ordered a bottle and that the bottle was more money than the meal. We found out when the bill was presented. When my husband said something, the woman working there said “when people order wine they usually know what it costs” I find this to be totally unacceptable. With a mandatory 20% tip we paid over $50 just for the tip, for less than minimal service. We spent $327 on a casual dinner for 2 people. I am upset with how dinner turned out tonight. We love Spanish food and were so happy to try this place, but I cannot recommend.

The BEST concept of a HIDDEN GEM, Basque cuisine 🇪🇸 run by its owner (Chef Aitor Garate), casual and light concept, ideal menu for sharing, excellent prices vs. quality, warm and exceptional service with a menu of outstanding flavors. You wouldn't expect such high-quality cuisine at a food court, it's a real experience under the personalized attention of its owner/chef, who is also a great person. One of my🔝spots to eat in Miami! Far superior to some big name restaurants, highly recommended! We will see it in the Michelin guide soon. I have gone several times and as long as I continue trying dishes I want to continue eating, I really love this place!. If you like cheesecakes, you have to eat the basque style cream cheesecake, the best of all, it's perfect. Note: The TimeOut market is very nice and it has convenient parking, when you eat you enjoy a great discount on the fee. It also offers pizzas, hamburgers and ice creams for the little ones.

Lur is an unbelievable place to visit. We had the basque 8 course experience and each dish was out of this world. I would highly recommend this. Chef Aitor is super passionate, friendly, and will make your experience one you won’t forget.

Have to agree with the other reviewers here. This place is a gem. The food is fabulous and fresh. We weren’t so keen on the strawberry gazpacho - but otherwise everything we tried is a knock out. Lur is in a food fall. We went thinking it was a stand alone restaurant. So maybe that would be helpful for future diners. The place in general is pretty up market - don’t think mall food court! I feel like this place is new - We visited a few times and it was never busy (maybe we hit off season). I’d suggest Go visit and give it a go, you will not regret it. Don’t be put off if it’s quite.

We recently dined at Lur. It was an exceptional experience. The chef presented his finest dishes, each bursting with flavor and creativity. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. If you plan to visit, don't forget to bring your favorite wine to complement the meal, and definitely make a reservation to savor the chef's special menu. It's a culinary journey worth embarking on!

Came in for lunch, and the experience was great. Anitor (a Michelin-vet chef) was extremely friendly, and made an incredible angus tenderloin steak sandwich. His menu has something for everyone, and the flavor is amazing. Highly recommend dropping into the Time Out Market to check it out!

Fantastic basque cuisine in the heart of Miami Beach! I enjoyed the patatas bravas, pan con tomate, the fresh tomato anchovies salad, as well as the yummy rice+lobster plate. Wow!

I had been told great things about LUR but was truly impressed and believe this is the best Basque food in Miami (Leku or every other place pales in comparison to what is offered here). We went at an odd time, 4:30 on Saturday after watching a matinee show at the Colony Theater, so we had the place to ourselves and were lucky enough to have the chef’s undivided attention. We had the tasting menu, which is more than reasonably priced, and the 8 dishes served had the most interesting mixture of textures and tastes and were all impecable. I’m usually not a fan of beet and truly enjoyed the soup, the artichokes were delightful, the croquettes crispy outside but with a rich and soft center, the beans with crab and the peas with salmon were perhaps real highlights, as was the chuletón which was exquisite. Last but not least the desert was spectacular. I plan on coming back and taking advantage of however long Chef Aitor Garate is at LUR, this Michelin trained chef truly provides unforgettable cuisine.

How is this not booked out every night? In a sea of overpriced very average food this was the highlight of my time in Miami Beach. Yes it's in a food court (an upmarket very comfortable one at that), but sitting at the Chefs table, it wasn't noticeable. For a little more than the price of double a single entree and glass of wine I previously paid the night before, I had 8 fantastic courses a beer and several glasses of wine. Every course was fantastic and the joy of eating served by the chef was unmatched. If you want quality over quantity, I can not recommend this enough. One of the best food experiences I have enjoyed.

Awesome! The Basque dinner experience is amazing! (Every Friday) Plus: the wine pairing for $45 completes the scene. The best in Miami.

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!! Not a single piece of minced meat, only raw pasta and poured with tomato sauce. How?! How can this be offered?!? After that, my stomach hurt all day. ..But the most i...
