My fiance couldn't wait to have his Seafood dinner while we was in Miami for the weekend. We decided to come to CJ's and we're so glad we did. Our dinner was amazing!!!! I had the Ribeye dinner with Alfredo. Let me just say when our waitress bought us our food. We was shocked on how big our plates were. The steak is HUGE and every bite was heaven. One of the best steaks I've had in a while. The Alfredo was good to needed just a tad bit more flavor. My fiance enjoyed everything on his plate. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to Miami. As for the service our waitress Sanja G was the best. She made sure we were okay the whole time. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. This place is amazing.

CJ's Crab shack is an amazing place for seafood if you're walking down ocean drive. The food and drinks were on point. The popcorn shrimp was tasty and so was the grouper and fries. Make sure you stop by and check them out

I ordered the lobster because it's my birthday. However, I'm coming to the conclusion that Lobster isn't all that. It's expensive for little payoff. I mean it's good but my sister got the Cajun crab legs combo and the crab legs were far more flavorful, even without the cajun seasoning. I would get that again when I come back here. We also got some frozen Mango Daiquiris, which they give you a tiny bottle of rum with it-- they don't skimp on the alcohol. :) I would definitely come back to this place, next time I'm in Miami. I think the price is good value, seeing as it's a seafood place. The service was friendly and fast. I wanted to sit in the patio because I thought I could see the ocean from here--the street being called "Ocean Ave", after all. But no, there are some bushes that separate the ocean from the hustle and bustle of the street. This is a great place to people watch if you got a patio seat. Ocean Ave is full of flamboyant, and mostly scantily-clad beach goers, as well as tourists in flashy cars. It's also close to the "Miami Beach" letters, if you wanted a photo there.

Incredible, perfect crab! Loved eating here and would love to come back. The steak and shrimp were excellent as well. Great location right in the heart of south beach on Ocean Drive, with plenty of outdoor seating. Service was friendly and prompt.

One of my favorite places to eat at in South Beach. My best friend & I went there for her birthday, & we just couldn’t stop visiting the place! We ate there twice after! One thing I would say, is to expect a long wait time, but it’s really worth it, especially being on the boardwalk with a beautiful view!

We had NO wait at 7pm on a Thursday! Super surprised! The food was amazing! Probably the best food we ate all trip! Crab dip was rich and creamy, and served with plenty of chips. Shrimp and crab were served with a side which was a huge portion! Crab was perfectly prepared and the garlic shrimp was delicious! Shrimp poboy had so much shrimp you couldnt even eat it like a sandwich without having to eat a few shrimp First! Steak was cooked perfectly! Wish we could visit again before we leave! Friendly staff and the perfect view of ocean street!

Clean shop, both indoor & outdoor seating. Absolutely fantastic food, service, & atmosphere!! Highly recommend: - The crab dip. Sooo tasty! - The crab cakes. I don't normally like crab cakes; these were fantastic!! - Their platters. They are BIG. - The shrimp po boy sandwich. Lots of shrimp (maybe 8-10 or so). My son couldn't eat it as a sandwich haha it was HUGE. He enjoyed the shrimp, though! 🍤 Honestly, this was worth the price. Filling, absolutely perfect flavor, and delicious all around. To top it off, the employees were great, access to the beach was stellar, and no one minded that we were a bit sandy & a little wet. 5 stars all around. We spent $200. Including drinks (mocktails for the kids!), meals for 4 (2 kids, 2 adults), and tip. A little pricey, but their food & service match the price well!

Absolutely incredible restaurant experience! My spouse and I stumbled upon this restaurant while we strolled through Ocean Drive, and, honestly, this location did NOT disappoint when it came to its entrees. First off, the drinks were extremely delightful. Second, the Crab Dip appetizer was highly delectable. Finally, our entrees, which were Steak with Shrimp and Crab Legs, tasted unquestionably delicious. In addition to the meals, the service was outstanding. Highly recommend this location for all those looking to go out on a nice date in Ocean Drive.

We thought this would be an awesome restaurant to dine at as it is located right on the strip in South Beach with fantastic views with the outdoor dining. We couldn't be more wrong. The steak my wife ordered was 70% fat and couldn't be consumed. Upon mentioning it to our waitress she had offered to have another one made, however we also had lobster tails and garlic shrimp to eat as well and would have enjoyed eating it together as the meal. We respectfully declined and asked that the steak be removed from the bill, the waitress said she would have it removed and then returned to our table and said they could only make her another one. My wife then requested that a manager be sent to our table and upon his arrival my wife explained the situation and the manager merely blew it off by saying "this type of thing sometimes happens" this was said in a very rude way. We ordered lobster tails as well that were like chewing on pieces of rubber. The worst lobster I've ever had. The crab legs we were served were extremely over cooked and the meat was waterlogged. The garlic shrimp was about the only thing half way decent, but for what they charge you should be getting prime service and meals. I DO NOT recommend eating here while in South Beach!!! And they might want to step their game up on their customer service.

The service was AMAZING. Our food came out quick. And everything was delicious. From the crab artichoke dip, to the Rockefeller oysters, garlic butter shrimp, and the crab. It was amazing. Highly recommend for the food, service, and scenery!

Omg!!! I would not let let my worst enemy eat here!!! I have been traveling in Miami for a few years, and love sea food. Tonight I experience such male Chauvinist to the max!! I told the hostess what was she doing? And she said she’s was looking for another job! I was greeted from a lovely mother and daughter across from me that told me that they had a bad experience from. It was the manager. I ordered r the crab cake. It wasn’t even something I would give to my dog. They brought me another. And I ordered the king crab with corn and veg. Corn was not even cooked. And I asked for a side of pasta which I never got. My bill was 115$ I paid it and walked out, not finishing my diner. I would strongly recommend thinking twice about going here. I have no problem paying for food. But I did have to get fisty with these people. Because of there attitudes. Just seemed like they did not respect their costumers. Crab legs were great. But. Who wants to eat with a terrible house???

O my! The food was out of this world! The shrimp was the best I have ever had period! Crab cake was fresh with zero filler and they can cook a steak to boot! The atmosphere and views were exactly what you would expect from a restaurant like this, right on the strip out door dining at its best! If you are in the area this is worth the stop..... I will be back!!!!

I dined here while on vacation with my partner. We were seated promptly outside. Our server (who I think might have been the owner but didn't introduce himself as such) was polite and had wonderful recommendations. We ordered: Fried Popcorn Shrimp: this appetizer was great. Exactly what you'd expect. Crab cake dinner: the plating was lack-luster but the cakes were fantastic. The corn was cooked and seasoned well. 1-pound snow crab dinner: cooked very well and easy to shell. Miami Vice cocktail: very good, tasty frozen cocktail. Didn't 'wow' but didn't disappoint. Notes: many people smoke while they dine on ocean drive, especially cigars and pot. If this bothers you, request to sit inside.or go earlier in the day to avoid the evening crowd. You will have to find metered parking or a parking garage and walk to the restaurant. Overall: it was a pleasant experience and if I visited again, I'd go here for lunch.

For this to be a restaurant in Miami the prices was decent for the amount of food. Everywhere is a service charge though can't get around that part! Seating was a nice outside ambiance table on the strip not far from Versace old house now bar and hotel.

This place is AMAZING!! The Fisherman’s Platter was HUGE and delicious. Perfectly fried, hot and yummy. My server was the bartender and he was friendly and made sure to anticipate my every need throughout my meal. I ate inside on a HOT June day. Inside was cold and comfortable. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for seafood. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every penny.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary in Miami from out of town. We met up here with a friend from another part of Florida. We ended up getting a $25 frozen drink in a pineapple which was SO WORTH THE MONEY🍍As well as two appetizers. That was it between the three of us and the bill was still almost $100. Regardless, our appetizers were good and so was the service.

The food was amazing. Service was amazing. The bartender (Carlos) who was also our server was very helpful and recommended some good choices. The atmosphere is very nice, very close to the beach. Went back the next night, that's how good it was.

Great experience good food. This is a have to stop while your are in Miami Beach. The nightlife can be … interesting to watch if you sit outside. Going during the evening when it starts cooling down is a good time, went on a Friday night. Had great service.

Everything tasted so good. I also had a Caesar salad as a side with chicken. I can honestly say one of the best meals I've had while coming to Miami.

Awesome dinner and service. My meal with fish was great. The server, and I believe the manager, were both great. Quick service and great food/drinks, will go again if in the area. Great view of the park across the street as well, which is in the photo. P.S. Go Bills

We had an amazing experience at CJ's Crab Shack! The location is perfect, situated on the famous Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, FL. If you're looking for delicious seafood options like crab, oysters, and fish, at an affordable price, this is the place to go. We followed the starred recommendations on the menu and were not disappointed. We tried the cajun combo plate, which included snow crab, oysters, and crab cake, and loved all of them. However, the snow crab was a bit colder than we expected. We also tried the grouper sandwich, which was simply awesome. Overall, the food was fantastic and we highly recommend giving CJ's Crab Shack a try.

Food was very delicious! Me and a couple of friends were in town and trying to decide on somewhere to eat on the strip we settled for seafood and we were glad that we did even their cocktails were amazing! We would have definitely been back if it wasn’t our last night in Miami everything from my appetizer to drinks were amazing! The only thing I did not like was that everyone has to be on one bill other than that I definitely recommend you take in the scene and eat here. I will be back!

Oh god, food was so so good! Despite the fact that I came there for crab legs, my favorite was their crab cake! Very tasty and had so much crab inside! The rest was very good too. There were a lot of people, but the service was still very nice and quick. Prices were also pretty ok for the Miami Beach. Not cheap, but also not too expensive.

Kind of pricey, but the food here was great. The crab legs were perfectly cooked. I was here around 2 or 3pm and it wasn't too busy. I chose to sit inside for the air conditioning, but you can also sit outside. Great location across from the beach on Ocean Drive.

Really good quality of snow crab & garlic shrimp! Very delicious. Love the creamy pasta too!! The staff is very friendly who recommended me the meals and also helped to adjust my drink to less alcohol. (They put a huge amount of alcohol in the drink which sounds amazing for others but it’s too strong for me.) This meal is the highlight of my trip to Miami Beach. Highly recommended. :)

The food was great. The fish was a bit buttery but didn’t mind it. Usually have mix drink specials and the Long Island was good, but not as strong. Sits across the beach so its a nice view to Ocean Dr. Overall a nice place but on the pricey end as the rest of south beach.

Great location and ambient, great service. Food: crab cake, stone crabs - fantastic. Fresh oysters - not so good, warm, not shacked completely and lacking liquid. Fisherman platter was good. I didnt like that drinks were served in plastic cup. Overall good experience. 4* for oysters.

Nice location on the street. If you're not sitting outside though, the inside isn't great, nor is the bathroom. Service is not bad, it's okay. The prices are extremely high though. The food is good, pretty good even, but that's about it.
