Okay food, Decent drinks. Horrible service. They don’t deserve a 20% tip which they make sure to add in as a service charge then also expect an extra tip! They forgot to bring us our appetizer but made sure to charge for it. When we brought it up to the server, he was nonchalant about it. - sorry but this place needs a huge makeover top to bottom. Don’t even bother trying to use the bathroom here either 🤮

Not exactly a great way to kick off our Miami vacation. Food was okay at best and overly overpriced. I’d say you pay for the ambiance and experience of eating on Ocean Drive. The mango margarita was bland same with the fettuccine alfredo pasta. The chicken was rough and dry, I will say the burger was probably the best thing here. Service was nice for the most part but they did seem to really push us to get the XL Margarita size which ran $40+. We just wanted some lunch but when we constantly kept getting asked if we’d like to try the larger Margarita it was a negative for us. For the price point I’d say there are plenty of better options to eat at other than Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen.

Extremely poor service. Kept forcing us to buy alcohol, very slow response in bringing things, completely ignored us when we needed to pay and get the card back. Was forcing us to order more food. Maybe it was just that one server but it was a bad experience. The food was good and fresh eggs and steak. Eggs were well made easy, but steak was cooked a bit more than we asked but it was good. Coffee was good. The server, Roxie, was awful, bad attitude, super slow, unresponsive, and kept touching her hair. Also the service charge is 20%!!! And quantity is small compared to the price.

Went here on a Friday for lunch. $250 for a group of 5 for the location seemed to be average. The owner was nice and came and talked to us, even gave our entire table free shots. Food was good, nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about. I also dislike when places automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill, good service deserves more and poor service deserves less 20 is the standard. Our server was actually great and paying with a card I couldn’t even add anything to try and give her more.

Food was okay but way overpriced. We were super hungry and sat down at the first place we saw that had an open table. We were a party of five but there is always a 20 percent tip included no matter the size of your party. We had shrimp tacos, they were okay, beef tacos and chicken tacos had little flavor, jalapeño burger was good but not spicy at alll. The beer come in lots of sizes but you pay for the cool big plastic cup not for the quality. We won’t be back but it was nice to sit on the Main Street and eat

I wish we had look through reviews first. They are accurate. Food was okay. We got 3 fish tacos and 3 shrimp tacos. The fish taco had no real flavor chucks of chewy mahi and shredded iceberg lettuce a teaspoon of tomato and green-can parmigiana on top. The shrimp tacos had a little more flavor with lots of shrimp. After looking at the reviews I’m glad I didn’t get a cocktail. Over the service and food were okay but we left disappointed in our pick.

The food is alright but the service was a bit slow. The menu is all over the place with offerings and pricing and doesn’t really have a flow. They hand you so many papers when you arrive that it’s very confusing. They have pretty large margaritas tho!

Bertha was the nicest and friendliest server during our stay in Miami. Extremely helpful service. Great cocktails which they allowed us to be flexible with the 2-4-1 deal. Great view too.

Food wasn’t good, had no flavor, and wasn’t worth the price at all.If you don’t want to get yourself into a tourist scam i recommend going to Dulce Vide for good quality food that you WILL enjoy. Also I got a frozen daiquiri and it literally had 0 liquor.

only came in here for hookah, but the wait was so sweet we ended up here for a while and got some snacks. the cheesy gnocchi was so mushy and salty. the octopus was okay. this place is for sure more of a drinking spot.

Food was alright, needed more flavor, prices not too crazy for the area (South Beach is very expensive, so expect around $50-$100 per person). 20% service charge is just nuts. 10% should be ok and leave as much tip as you want. 👍. There are some really good deals for drinks on the weekends, deff a drinking spot. New owner so some changes are under way they told us.

Had lunch there to celebrate my birthday. My waitress was very helpful. Everybody was extremely attentive. The food was tasty and the pitcher of Mimosa was just strong enough to get the job done

We stopped by just before sunset when we spotted an older couple with huge drinks. We ordered the pricey drinks which weren’t as potent as we wanted. Guac and pico were good. Dinner was good as well. I watched an IG influencer take her pix of a melting piña colada lmao.

I Love ari and Lilly they were very sweet and accommodating. Very punctual on service and made my dad. She even gave me free shots for my birthday. I will definitely be back to see them

Service was nice, though the hostess was a bit pushy. 2 nachos were good to split for 5 adults. Drinks were large. All prices are comparable to the rest of South Beach. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable.

I loved this place. A chill restaurant close to beach. Really had good time, it was literally relaxation. I was here for breakfast and stayed almost 4 hours until lunch with nice drinks and nice company of stuff. I ordered “grande breakfast” like classic American breakfast which is more than enough for one person. Prices are reasonable, I cannot complain. Definitely will be here again.

I don’t know why it has so low rating. Our experience was good and service was great. Price was relatively high, but we realized that it is in Miami Beach, gotta pay more. 20% service fee was already added. So please don’t feel obligated to pay another 20%for tips.

Great restaurant on Ocean drive. Very pleasant service, great cuisine, huge drinks, endless happy hours :-) In short, you have to try it!

Delicious, perfectly flavored and cooked lobster, crab and salmon grill. I stopped by Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen for a mojito and small appetizer, after seeing the waiter deliver this to another table…my nephew said we want one of those although we had a paid meal in the next hour with a tour package. We ordered one to share and it was the best meal we had in Miami!! The beef nachos, guacamole and salsa were also fresh and flavorful…oh yeah…the mojito was great too!

The reason this restaurant gets to much business is because it is on the strip of south beach. You go for the ambiance. However, I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was actually very tasty, as was the mojito. The thing that sucks about this place is the slow service and the 20% service charge. They definitely don’t deserve that much of a tip. No wonder my breakfast was only $7!

😠 I almost never write bad reviews. But visiting this place, I feel cheated. I ordered pasta Bolognese - OH my God, it's terrible!! Not a single piece of minced meat, only raw pasta and poured with tomato sauce. How?! How can this be offered?!? After that, my stomach hurt all day. ..But the most i...
