We booked this hotel exclusively because of the kids club, paddle boards, kayaks and the activities they have. We arrived on Sunday and until Friday the kids club was only open for one day. One day when the weather is nice and we can use kayaks and paddle boards and when I called the reception they said that the kids club is not open, and we go to the beach and again they said sorry no paddle boards again for today (I was spoke with receptionist and they said the weather is good, everything is available to use). So disappointed. And also what is the point of your kids club then, parents make reservations because their children want to have a little fun and they also want to have time for themselves. Also, two days in a row at 8 a.m. the work starts, drilling the walls, as if someone is hanging pictures on the wall and banging. So you will get a free wake me up at 8am while on vacation. On the beach, you have to wait in line to get a towel. And the room that we booked is the city view, and we got a view of the terrace. Only the service and servers at the pool are good. Everything else is zero. Never again.

The stay was nice, the pool staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, until there was no hot water in the rooms. The hotel knew of this issue, did not tell the guests (even with their text message system), and when I called front desk she said it was an issue with a vendor and no ETA on the fix. She could not care less. Her manager offered two solutions (to pack up my entire family and move to the other tower?! or take my toddler at bedtime to shower at the spa at the other tower?!) that did not work for me and said heā€™d call back when it was fixed. He also said they were notifying guests by putting a letter under their doors (of all rooms in their main towerā€¦ sureā€¦). I did not receive the aforementioned letter or phone call. I did receive a small credit to my resort fee at check out the next morning after I said they provided BS next steps. I canā€™t believe a hotel of that size doesnā€™t have any action plan or compensation plan for a major issue like NO HOT WATER. Hope they donā€™t reply to thank me for the review to help them grow/improve rather spend the time being more proactive with their guests instead.

Very nice room with the exception that the shower is very tight and when you want to lather up, if you don't want to turn off the water completely, you have to divert the shower head toward the glass door... well, the door did not have the "sweep" strip that every glass shower door has at the bottom and along the side and all that water flooded into the bathroom making the floor unbelievably slippery and dangerous! Otherwise, v. nice room! Clean, spacious, comfortable, v. nice amenities.

The hotel, rooms, location was amazing. However we had an issue checking in. When we arrived they told us that they have no king size available even tho we had a reservation for king size bedroom. After three phone calls, the concierge was able to call the manager and he gave us a king size room and apologized and told us that our service fees were waived because of our troubles, but in the end they still charged us. While the hotel was great, the service leaves much to be desired!

The hotel is very beautiful. I loved the pool area, the pool is very nice and clean all day, also the atmosphere is very good. Everyone was super friendly and willing to help all the time. The rooms are not very big but they have almost everything you need. My husband asked for a microwave and we never got one which was a bit inconvenient. But in general the hotel is very beautiful.

There is no way to explain how amazing this place is! From the moment you check in, everything and everyone is so accommodating. They have top notch service like youā€™re staying in a super crazy expensive place. But itā€™s actually affordable Right on the beach, the swimming pool is amazing. Room service is absolutely delicious Thereā€™s nothing negative, all positive! Iā€™ve stayed two times and donā€™t ever want to stay anywhere else on south beach.

Very nice hotel at a nice location. Staff was helpful, though it took a little while to get our room serviced. We had a balcony room with a great view of the beach. Back entrance by the pool for easy access to the beach along with complimentary beach chairs and towels. Nights are lively and only a few minutes walking away from ocean Drive. Fitness center and spa next building over. Very clean and classy hotel. I would definitely stay again!

We arrive tomorrow evening for a week long vacation. So very excited. My concern was payment related & the need to pay it all upfront with cash vs a credit card. Jessica from customer engagement department was extremely professional & very helpful in eliminating any concerns I had and put my mind at ease. I canā€™t thank her enough. She was super awesome !

The staff are very nice and professional! The place is very very good for families! Its not crowded either! Its right next to the beach and there are restaurants within a walking distance! I loved their pool by the way. Its a private pool...not open to the public. We enjoyed our stay here! The service is phenomenal! Location just perfect. The rooms are not too spacious however I have nothing to complain about. They served us well! See you soon GOD willing. šŸ’•

The hotel was phenomenal. It actually felt like a resort. The location was great, walking distance to all the major areas. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It's clear that the staff is trained a certain way to provide the upmost experience for the guests. Alex (pool bar manager) went above and beyond to make this trip a memorable one. His work ethic shows how passionate he is about his job. Not to mention the staff at the beach. It's amazing to watch those guys run around in that kind of heat! The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping was great. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a luxury place. It was worth every penny! Will definitely be returning!

Great amenities especially the gate to the beach. Room service was ok. The lady told me that I would get someone to bring up a fridge but it never happened. The Internet was also down for the beginning of the stay. The meeting rooms were perfect for our event though.

I had an excellent stay with my family at the Loews Miami Beach. From the start it was a great experience, as I got upgraded to an ocean front view and even got 3 free courtesy drinks at the bar. Breakfast buffet at the hotel had a lot of options, all tasty. Service throughout my stay was great, from the staff at the front desk to the restaurants and beach service. Location was perfect at it is in the middle of everything and walkable to a lot of restaurants/attractions. And of course, just a few steps from the beach, makes it super convenient. All in all, I had an awesome second stay here and would not hesitate coming back.

We stayed 8 nights at the Loews and the resort & location is amazing! We enjoyed the beach fully and the hotel bar & restaurants. The rooms are nice but cleaning could be improved. Even after we asked, the room was not vacuumed or cleaned properly. Hairs are not removed from the shower. Reception is also not very lenient on late check out.

I got to attend as a guest of my sister-in-law who won a trip for her company. The food was wonderful and the drinks even better. Despite being shorter staffed at times, they were on point with service! We are at the restaurant above the pool for breakfast and the sushi/fish restaurant across the walkway. The rooms were pretty, very clean, and always stocked with waters, towels, etc. The pool was beautiful and there was plenty of space to find chairs. We rented bikes one day and the convenient location made everything easy to walk to dinner reservations nearby. Finally, we enjoyed the spa and a massage which was awesome! Highly recommend!

We just came back from celebrating thanksgiving in Miami. The staff was so wonderful and amazing. We got a complimentary partial ocean view room upgrade. The hotel is on the beach and the pool was very family friendly with many activities. Adli the pool waiter was great and treated us very well. Food was good and quickly served. Location is close to the mall and ocean drive. Everyone at the resort was very nice.

Room was great and bed very comfortable. Also liked that the rooms were well appointed - especially appreciated the fluffy oversized bath robes! Only wish we had a balcony for our room. Staff, including everyone from bell desk to front desk, concierge and pool staff was friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect and convenient to all that South Beach has to offer. Would highly recommend for couples and families!

I cannot say enough about how great this hotel is. This is the 2nd best hotel I have ever stayed in and by FAR the best value hotel we have ever seen and it's not even close. The service, location, rooms, amenities, activities are all top notch. You can see the investment in quality and maintenance everywhere. This place even smells great. Definitely coming back.. Jasmine checked us in and she was so helpful and enthusiastic. Every person here is great.

Hotel is amazing. Close to Ocean Drive and the outdoor mall. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Pool staff are excellent and setup the chairs and umbrellas for you. In room dining is fantastic as well. They give you a key for the mini bar. Got a complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony. Overall amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Loweā€™s for 4days and 3 nights , this is such a beautiful hotel, and smells so good, upon arrival we were greeted cheerfully, bell hop helped with bags, check in was great, but we did not realize the hotel has two buildings. We actually stayed at the second building where the Rios restaurant and spa is. The rooms were nice and spacious but did not look like what I thought I booked. The bathroom was not walk in like we saw online, and did not have a balcony. The bathroom was nice but defiantly gave me an at home feel rather than hotel. We had a partial ocean view which was nice from what we could see from the window. The rooms do not come with a mini fridge or microwave , but you can rent them for $30 if you choose too. The concierge desk was super nice and even helped us book a city and boat tour, offered to book for restaurants too. The scene at the hotel is just beautiful, nice pool and bar. Walking distance to the beach, which we really loved, you could also order drinks from the beach .Over all amazing staff and stay. We will teatime whenever we are in Miami.

Really great experience! We stayed in the City Skyline View Studio Suite. They seemed to think it everything we might need or forget Hotel -All the restaurants had delicious food -Everything was plentiful, we never waited on an elevator or for a towel at the pool -Cold water stations around the hotel were a nice addition -All questions and requests could be asked via text so easy to get things done quickly without having to stop at the front desk Room -Great size room, big tub and separate shower so enough space for everyone -No issues getting a fridge and microwave for our baby's milk in the room -Plenty of regular and USB outlets all around the room -Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower cap, tissues, q-tips, and lotion -Clean and organized on arrival

Dinner at the restaurant was good, rooms were clean and the suite had plenty of room. Staff was professional and friendly. Beach chairs and towels were included with suite but beach umbrella was $29 additional. The service on the beach for drinks and food was incredibly slow. Bed was firm which was great for my husband and not great for me. Close to central areas for walking down EspaƱola Way, Lincoln Mall, etc.

Our room faced the ocean in the middle of the big tower. Most of the view was of the roof below. The windows had a ton of leaks. It blasted rain against the hotel one nights which caused a massive puddle in our room, soaking a lot of our dirty clothes. The wind howling through the windows kept us awake. There was nothing we could do to seal the windows. The room was otherwise pretty nice but felt kind of... "used up" for lack of a better term. Prices are incredibly high. Pool drinks are about $20 each and pretty weak. Food at their restaurants is really pricey. We ordered room service dessert one night with two pieces of cake and including the mandatory tip and service fee the total was over $50!! All of the staff was very friendly and the location is great. The pool people are very friendly and the pool is nicely maintained. If you're going to drink, walk down to Walgreens and get yourself a bottle to mix yourself.

This place has been the most magical experience I've ever had. This year I lost my mom and it's been pretty rough on me. My husband surprised me with this bday getaway so I had no idea where I was coming. N.Y. at this time of year is pretty cold so imagine my shock and excitement knowing this is where I was coming. Or first room had no balcony but the next day they were able to accommodate and change our room. I have (I'm still here as I write this) the best balcony view! The staffs are so friendly and attentive. From the receptionist, to the bathroom/pool attendants, to the workers at the restaurants, the cleaning crews, the workers in the downstairs stores, even the other guest! It's all been a fairytale!!! Edmond, now he has become my husband and I favorite person while here. And it doesn't help that we have the same birthday! Happy birthday Edmond from the Greene's ā¤ļø. If you're looking to have the most memorable Miami experience, come to Loews Miami Beach Hotel! U won't be disappointed! Thanks to everyone here we plan to make this a yearly birthday trip. Oh one last thing, the food downstairs is amazing. You actually don't need to eat anywhere else.

The hotel fancies itself as family friendly, and it definitely is, until the clock strikes 5/5:30pm. I consider it family tolerant, more than actually friendly. After 5:30pm, the rec-room, kids club and pool are all closed. Why? No clue (maybe staff shortages?)... I assume it's so the kids are out of sight, so adult time can begin. I'm all for adult time, I just think 5/5:30pm is unreasonable. If it were 7 or 8pm, no problem. Otherwise, it's a great location on the beach (with beach chairs included in the resort fee). A lot of food choices within walking distance and room service was nice (our kids loved their blueberry pancakes [they had them every morning]). A nice playground was a short walk as well.

We have stayed at the Loews several times and visit at least once a year. The rooms are renovated and contemporary, the lobby and amenities are fantastic and while the pool often gets very crowded, the staff is always ready to serve! Most notable, when we checked-in we were greeted by Jesus in the concierge. He saw that we were waiting a bit longer than usual on the check-in line and made sure to jump in to assist and speed up the process for us. He was so friendly, welcoming, and provided top notch service during our stay. Jesus and the rest of the staff members (restaurants, pool, and beach), made the experience a true "luxury experience". There are many nice hotels, but the staff is always what sets this hotel apart.

It was very cool and nice there they have plenty of restaurants and places to shop at. There are plenty of things to do there and the beach and pool are very nice but one of the beds had a per stain on it so I'm gonna have to drop it by a star. Other than that it was amazing.

I was wowed with the overall experience at the Loews Miami Beach. From the time of our arrival to the time of our departure, the experience was first class. The appearance of hotel, staff, pool, water activities, food, drinks, room, etc. I couldnā€™t believe that this resort style hotel was in the middle of South Beach. It reminded me of resorts out of the country. I will definitely book again.

Great experience and great hotel on the beach. We had a short stay in Miami on our way back from Key West and should have allowed more time at the Loews Hotel. The service was impeccable as was the location. Can't wait to visit again.

We were so happy with our stay this past weekend! We chose this hotel to celebrate a milestone with a small vacation. The hotel was beautiful overall and the proximity to the beach was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast at Preston's and lunch at the pool. Everything was greatly convenient. The best parts were the little things that highlights the service's hospitality and positivity of this place--Jesus (front desk), Edmond (concierge), Mircea (Preston's) and Jonas (beach services) are amazing! Thank You Loews for a great family weekend.

My stay here was amazing!!! All the staff was warm and friendly. Our concierge attendant Jesus was excellent. He was so helpful and patient. The room was neat and clean. The next time Iā€™m visiting Miami I will be returning. Thank you so much for an awesome experience.

We had a lovely stay at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The location is fantastic. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The room was very nice. We enjoyed the beach and the staff was very good with serving drinks. The breakfast at Preston's was excellent. The hotel is very family friendly. We did not bring our kids on this trip, but I would recommend this hotel for families as well.

This is one of the few kid friendly and family friendly hotels in Miami beach. However, even here the party crowd obviously is favored. The pool closes early ...around 5pm, so does the beach (chairs and umbrellas). I'm not sure why. The food options for dinner inside the hotel are pretty much only room service. We ate in the hotel restaurant once for dinner and had to wait an hour until our food arrived. In the meantime they dimmed the lights and turned up the volume so my kids got cranky and I did not even have the opportunity to finish my dinner myself. The rooms are rather small but that's fine if you spend most of your day anyways outside. There's no kid friendly menu for the pool side (except for usual chicken fingers etc) or beach as you have to go inside the hotel for ice cream or similar. Also upon arrival we were not shown around and felt treated rather second class. The location is beautiful though and i still prefer staying here than many other hotels. Overall for the 5* rating i must say it's the details that are missing. No evening room prep, no welcome gifts, no high end toiletries, no extra toiletries, cheap toilet paper, no bath robes, no show around in the beginning, no intro to spa or amenities, the furniture a bit run down no complimentary water or snacks, there's really that extra touch missing. It's a fancier holiday inn...

We loved staying here and wish it were for more than one night! We stayed at a peak time so it was expensive but it was worth it. The rooms were large, clean, and luxurious. The staff was wonderful, accommodating, and pleasant. Being right on the beach and a beautiful pool sears the deal!

My boyfriend and I left snowy MI to enjoy this tropical escape. The property is well-maintained and the pool is incredible. You can almost always find a seat and can order a variety of drinks and snacks poolside. For a refreshing change of scenery, unwind in lounge chair on the beach. It's so calming and uncrowded. On a cooler/rainy day, you're a 5-minute walk from historic Espanola Way and the Art Deco district. The rooms feature modern decor and the beds are quite comfortable. My only note is that the rooms don't have a microwave or a mini fridge, which was a bit surprising. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, definitely stay at Loews!

The highlight of our stay was service by our pool server, Nicholas (a wonderful black male - only mentioning for ease of recognition from management) he was so kind, attentive and speedy with his service. This truly makes a difference!! As far as hotel - the rooms are spacious and clean - they donā€™t have tubs for babies so make sure to make the right arrangements for bath time. Food was great and the hostess at the buffet greeted us always so kindly and they hand out cute toys for your little ones. I recommend packing your own fitted sheets for crib or pack and play.

The lobby was beautiful. I would have liked to have a cocktail or two at the hotel lounge and bar. I will give them two thumbs up for having music in the bar area on Friday, we enjoyed that DJ and danced the night away. The elevators were a bit scary and very much in use.

This hotel is not what it use to be. We visited over this past weekend for our anniversary since this is where we stayed when we got married, the room was $2400 for 2 nights we reserved a double bed room with balcony and ocean view. I requested they do something discuss for our welcome they did nothing. Check in took very long as the lines were so long and only 2 agents working. The room view was just the top of a huge building with the water far away we couldnā€™t even really notice the water due to the huge top of a building it was such an eye sore. They did move us the second night ti whet was supposed to be a better view they told me to go run errands and when we got back our bags would be moved but when we got back nothing was moved and front desk was clueless. The new room with better view still had this huge building in the way. The shower had hair and the double beds are full size beds not queen. I would say itā€™s a 4 star hotel not 4.5 star. The lobby was nice and clean and the icecream in the cafe was good. The restaurant in the lobby area was a nice vibe. Valet takes at least 20 min so beware

nice hotel, came for the Food Network festival which was absolutely incredible canā€™t wait to come back again. The hotel vibe was very nice very relaxing, clean and welcoming. The only thing We were a little confused about was that It was about a 20 minute wait to check in with only one other person in line in front of us because none of the other desks were open and only one person was handling the check ins. Other than that looking forward to coming back, pool is also very nice

By far this is the best hotel I have been too. The experience with staff have been amazing. Our first impression was great by the front desk and have to mention Jonathan for his great customer service. He is very passionate and reflected how much he cared for our stay. My experience couldā€™ve been totally different if it wasnā€™t for Jonathan. The check in process was very smooth and he made it much easier.

Overall this is a nice hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. My only real complaint is the room was not worth what we paid. The double beds were full size, and the room was pretty basic other than the beach front balcony view.

The bathroom area nor sitting area were swept during our stay. The carpet was not vacuumed during our stay. We were present during cleaning and didn't witness it happened. Trashed remained in th3 corners of some areas and small particles remained on the carpet. We had a great overall experience! We came to celebrate a birthday and it was everything we wanted. I was assisted in room setup for birthday decor. We were greeted with birthday amenities. Everyone we encountered, from the valet to the front desk, was absolutely amazing. Thank you Jorge for all of your assistance!!! Our hotel room and view were both incredible! The location of the hotel was perfect. We were in close proximity to dining, shopping, and nightlife.
