Last night we went for a dinner at the Ocean Grill. The setting is very nice, the food was very good and the service was great. However, we left the car on the valet service and we were told that the gate of the parking was broken, so we had to wait for it to be fixed to recover our car. It was a very hot an humid night, no one offered us to come inside to wait until this could be done. We decided to go inside the lobby and wait until we were told that finally we could get our car back. No apologies, not even water was offered during this time. Indeed, we were asked to pay the full price of the parking for the time that we were there. Definitely, it’s not the kind of service that could you could expect from the Forbes’s standards.

Our stay at the Setai was amazing. We stayed at the ocean suites. The amenities were over the top for the ocean suites. Our transportation to and from the airport was arranged for us, non alcoholic beverages were in our room to enjoy, beach bag, I mean the list goes on. The reservation desk, concierge, bell hops, restaurant works, cleaning services, everyone was literally amazing. My husband’s bag was lost by the airline and the concierge arranged someone to go back to the airport and retrieve it. We also enjoyed the couples love retreat at the spa and the service was very intimate. Both restaurants were very good and would have wanted to eat there if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. 10/10 recommend.

Are you looking for a peaceful, luxurious, 5-star South Beach experience? The Setai is THE hotel for you, if you enjoy... 1) Rooms that are poorly cleaned, and are subject to loud electronic music until midnight on weekends (thanks to the club-like atmosphere in the hotel restaurant)... 2) Toilets that barely flush, and that splash your fecal matter all over the toilet seat (and floor) when you do manage to successfully flush them... 3) A dysfunctional spa that confirms your appointment 2+ weeks in advance, only to tell you 10 minutes after your arrival to the spa that your therapist did not arrive and that you can reschedule for the following day after your scheduled checkout time... 4) Pools that are so frigid as to make one question whether they exist purely for aesthetics (and that are constantly inundated by pesky mosquitos)... 5) Average (at best) lunch buffets that cost $95 per person, plus gratuity and tax... Seriously: we’ve stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world, and the Setai isn’t one of them. Don’t be fooled by the hype. This place seems to be surviving based purely on its past reputation — not the experience it currently provides. There are over a dozen superior properties in Miami Beach alone (let alone the greater South Florida area). Disregard the canned, apologetic response that the hotel’s manager will post in response to this review. Save your money. Go elsewhere. You’ll thank me later!

We were just at the hotel for breakfast and left our car with valet. After and hour, when we wanted to leave, we went to valet and asked for our car. We waited an hour before the hotel manager came to tell us that they LOST our keys. Till now they have not yet found this. The only help we received was from the valet manger and a nice lady in the valet booth. Before that we were dismissed and everyone refused to tell us what was going on. We will NEVER leave our car with them again!!

The hotel is beautiful. Most importantly the customer service was outstanding. Irene at the front desk made sure our 3 night stay was perfect! We had an issue with our lights dimmer in the room and with in minutes she had engineers and maintenance taking care of it. All staff was so kind and accommodating. The location is fantastic and the pools are beautiful. We had an amazing wedding Anniversary and Birthday celebration at Setai. Thank you!

My husband and I just got back from a 5 night stay at the Setai. We stayed in one of their Ocean Suite rooms. Overall our stay was underwhelming. Considering the very high prices we were expecting more. The Ocean Suite room has a kitchen in the middle of the room and you have a city view from the bedroom. From the balcony it is also only a partial ocean view. (For the same price you can get a full ocean view at the Faena with a bathtub overlooking the ocean) (At the 1 Hotel for less money you can get a full ocean view and wake up in your bed and feel like you're in the ocean) So again compared to other hotels the value is just not there. Also the kitchen in the middle of the room... They should take off money for this because no one who is staying here on vacation is going to use a kitchen and it definitely takes away from the room. The rooms are definitely not as modern and clean as other compatible hotels like I listed above. The beach service was a little bit rocky. They told us we could not sit in the front row closest to the beach bc the lounges were reserved, so we asked them how we could reserve lounges for the next day and they told us you could not reserve lounges. It didn't make sense. They charged us $438 to do one load of wash. Just wash no dry cleaning. Some of the staff was nice while others seemed very unhappy to be there. The concierge seemed inconvenienced when asked if they could book us a car service. Overall we did not feel like the Setai had 5 star service and we will be spending our money elsewhere next time we are in Miami.

Place is not worth the money even after getting a great deal on the price. I can't begin to imagine paying the rates I usually see. Rooms are odd, missing simple amenities, and have a werid layout. Food and drinks are extremely pricey and are only 4 out of 5, so I expected better. The morning buffet gets old quickly by sacrificing quality for quantity. Service is excellent in every aspect of the spa, pools, restaurants, bar, maids, bellmen, and beach. You have to walk through a restaurant every time you want to go to the pool or beach, so you're dodging staff and patrons, which is odd. Has no place to relax if the weather is not good, so you're stuck in your room or restaurant.

We were there for my friends birthday dinner and had somewhat of a wonderful time.I put it this way because I enjoyed the decor and ambiance. The entertainers were amazing. I have not seen acrobatics done so well in a long time. The food was also tasty and affordable. I am only giving 4 stars, however, because of the minor inconveniences we experienced: -our table was in the back right next to the checkout,so we had a LOT of traffic around us. - One of us had to deal with water leaking from the AC. - And our server got most of our orders wrong (granted, we were a large party). Beware, it's so frequented that the valet couldn't park our cars. We parked on the lot, a block away and walked back.

A Perfect Anniversary Retreat at The Setai Miami My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at The Setai Miami, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm welcome with honey lemon tea during check-in to the delightful anniversary dessert and champagne in our upgraded Junior suite on the top floor, every detail was meticulously handled. The spacious room was amazing, boasting all the luxury amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel (automatic black out shades, dual sink, lots of closet space, amazing bed, etc). The housekeeping service was thorough, tidying up our room twice a day, ensuring a pristine space to return to. The highlight of our stay was the remarkable private beach access and three pools with varying water temperatures. The availability of a well-stocked gym, complete with refreshing amenities like free water and cold aloe towels, added to the wonderful experience. While the service was generally excellent, there were moments when some staff members seemed a bit reserved, although this was the exception rather than the rule. When compared to Mandarin Oriental Miami, The Setai Miami surpassed expectations in every aspect except for location – we personally favored Brickell. Overall, our stay was nothing short of amazing, making The Setai Miami one of the top hotels in the Miami area.

Stayed here about a week ago and it was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. All the staff were so welcoming and helpful. They were very accommodating and genuinely seemed like they enjoy being there. Beautiful interior with unique pieces of art in the rooms and around the hotel. Having three pools of all different temperature was something I was not expecting and thoroughly enjoyed. Amazing food.

We found this place to dine at random by walking on the beach. It had a great vibe and very cute outdoor space. The staff were friendly and suggested some great wine. It was pricey though and they didn’t have all the items available! It seemed that they have a basket of bread on the table but they were ran out!

What a place. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the hotel, the staff, and all it has to offer. From the moment we arrived until the Uber door shut when we left, the staff was AMAZING. Attention to detail is everything, and the Setai had it all. Calling us by name, setting up our beach/pool chairs, everyone was kind and attentive without being too overbearing. We cannot wait to come back!

Last New Years Day, we discovered the amazing brunch at The Setai. Hands down, one of the most amazing dining experiences in Miami. We also always travel with our dog and want to have an elevated experience without worrying about her being allowed. With that in mind, this year, we decided to make it a New Years weekend, and the entire experience has been top-notch. Best decision ever!

Besides the gorgeous views and very well appointed rooms, the staff and service here are what sets the Setai apart! Rachel and Asli at the front desk exemplified what 5 star service should be. The suite had everything one could ask for - washer/dryer, great speakers, and plenty of (great smelling!) toiletries. You can't beat the birds eye views

Nice hotel, great service. We had only one complaint, and it's a major one. We stayed in room 202 just above the main restaurant. It was impossible to sleep before 11pm because of the loud music that were playing. It completely destroyed our sleep 2 nights in a row. Last night of our stay they kept playing till midnight. The tv and glasses in the minibar were bouncing around. Because of this we will probably not recommend this hotel if you like to go to bed early, at least you should ask for a different room. We were not warned in advance about this issue. Also had some problems with the blinds that did not close properly.

Amazing brunch on a Sunday with live band. Great place to come with a family and kids The experience starts with unlimited champagne poured by a waiter. Huge selection of food: sushi, Indian cuisine, fresh seafood, meat options to be grilled. You can make an order and they’ll serve it at your table once it’s ready. Big section of desserts, freshly made ice cream with your choice of toppings. Definitely a place to be on Sunday ❤️ However, the disadvantage- some of the staff are now fluent in English 🥺

Went to eat at the restaurant. The waiter placed our order and the manager must have changed his tables. We never got our food and he was very rude. The manager was suppose to call us after we left but still has not.

Hands down the absolute best hotel and experience in Miami. My wife and I celebrated our 19th Year Anniversary at Hotel Setai and we must say that the service was incredible. The entire staff will treat you like royalty. Pablo and Maria are the absolute best! Kind and sweet. Always approached us a with the biggest smile and made it a point to genuinely get to know us. We highly recommend this place and we will be back soon!!

This hotel is located in Miami Beach near restaurants and shops. The hotel is 5 stars and pricey. It's worth every penny.

The restaurant on a Saturday night was overcrowded, after doing the line to get a table the experience was not enjoyable at all, some of the crowd were little kids in early 20s , the pool the next day was super warm, super small , nothing impressive . Not worth the money at all. Skip this overrated hotel.

I stayed the weekend here and have been so impressed with the service level. The staff and particularly the guest concierges do an incredible job at making you feel special. The Sunday brunch with live jazz music was the best brunch I've been to and I also really loved the pool. Can't wait to come back again one day!!

My husband and I stayed her for our wedding anniversary. The service is wonderful. The rooms are nice. There are 3 pools on the property and a secluded sitting areas. The property is on the beach and you can literally be served anywhere from the pool to the beach. The staff are amazing and attentive. The food at brunch was great. My husband had fresh squeezed juice every morning as I had iced mocha latte and unlimited mimosas. The hotel has beautiful details all around. We have told many friends and family and most certainly will return. There is spa on the property and two bars as well as two restaurants.

A Blissful Anniversary Stay at The Setai - 5 Stars! My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at The Setai, and it was an absolutely enchanting experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to service that went above and beyond our expectations. The staff at The Setai are true hospitality experts. Their warm welcome and attention to detail made us feel like royalty throughout our stay. They remembered it was our anniversary and surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, complete with a bottle of champagne and delicious dessert – such a thoughtful gesture that touched our hearts. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and exquisitely designed. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room's decor and amenities truly showcased The Setai's commitment to excellence. Dining at The Setai was a culinary journey we won't soon forget. The restaurant's menu was a delectable fusion of flavors, and the sommelier's wine recommendations perfectly complemented our meal. We savored every bite and appreciated the attentive service and the amazing entertainment. Throughout our stay, the entire staff, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, demonstrated a level of professionalism and warmth that set The Setai apart from other hotels. They were always ready to assist with any request, making us feel like valued guests. An extra special shout out to Pablo and Maria who made our stay feel extra special with their attentiveness! Our anniversary at The Setai was a magical and unforgettable experience. We cannot thank the staff enough for their exceptional service and attention to detail. The Setai truly exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning in the future. If you're looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway, The Setai is the perfect destination. We highly recommend it! Thank you, The Setai, for making our anniversary so incredibly special!

The restaurant and bar there is always so busy but they’re quite quick with how much volume they’re serving. Atmosphere was great and every drink that I had was delicious.

The Setai Hotel and it’s employees are the best of the best. The service is so amazing. It’s the little things like the bell man asking you if you want a water when getting into your car. We have traveled all over the world . The Setai accommodations and service are the best of the best! Thank you!

It was a joy! The dancers at night! The waiters, my goodness, they are so courteous, the food, I enjoyed every bite! Honestly, I didn't want to leave! I had the time of my life. From one worker to the next, all respectful and very courteous . I'll recommend this hotel to everyone.

Five star review for a Five star property! My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary 10 year wedding anniversary and the level of service was nothing sort of spectacular! Every detail thought out, amenities from the pool to their spa to the restaurant. Every staff member went out of their way and went the extra mile to make you feel special. Every visit we make to Miami Beach, from now on The Setai will be our only place to stay. Thank you to all staff.

Can't go wrong here. Service is excellent. Rooms are very nice. Beach is great. Food service is excellent on the beach. Good drink selection as well. At night this is the place to be. Full of beautiful half dressed women everywhere🤩.

I have never ever had a better experience at a hotel! I wish I could leave a higher review! Every staff member we came in contact with was so overly sweet and accommodating, the rooms were spotless when we checked in and after every time the maids came in (at least twice a day) it was quiet and peaceful. We ate at all the restaurants and room service and there was nothing we ordered that I have any complaint about! Delicious and wonderfully made drinks!! If we called and needed anything we were taken care of immediately. I do want to brag highly on the gentleman at the front by the name Pablo, he went over the top to take care of us, get us reservations, offer any accommodation we didn’t even think of, and was always there to greet us with a genuine smile. He got us vehicles when we didn’t want to drive, always had our car ready for us when we did, walked us anywhere when we had a question, his recommendations of where to go were perfect. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you’ve stopped reading this by now lol. On top of how amazing this place is, Pablo made everything perfect and we will only stay here when we come to South Beach. By far my best experience from check in to check out by anywhere that I have traveled!! Thank you!!

We are speechless with our stay honestly! From the moment we walked in we felt super welcome 🙏 and felt like all stuff knew us! The food is outstanding, the service is above outstanding! Thank you all very much and definitely recommend to stay here:)

One of the most amazing hotel experience I had period. I've previously visited Miami and stayed at hotels such as 1 hotels, the W, Faena etc...I believe that the Setai is 1 step above every other hotels in South Beach. The attention to detail and the service was incredible. Boris was extremely helpful when storing my luggage, Jose and his twin brother Hector were amazing at the beach & restaurant respectively. The concierge were also amazing in helping me book the car service and make the necessary reservations throughout my stay. Only comment I have is I was meeting my girlfriend's parents for the first time and had to pay extra 100$ a person to access the beach which is not ideal, but understandable given the fact that the hotel probably don't want to overcrowd their beaches. This is definitely a hotel that I would be coming back to in the near future.

The Setai was delicious, high end food. They had a fire dancer perform during our meal. The service was great, I definitely recommend. They have unique cocktails and one I didn’t really like was replaced immediately with something else.

Hotel staff is wonderful. Extremely attentive and are always willing to help. Valet guys are the best. Super friendly and passionate about their jobs. Had a few small issues day/night 1 but the front desk responded extremely professional and appropriately. Management followed up to see how stay was and how we are throughout the 4 days we stayed here. I do wish the rooms were a little more luxurious for the price but the overall experience here was well worth the money. 3 pools at various temperatures starting from 75, 85, and then 95 degrees for the kid's pool. Beach has availability for guests and the staff gets everyone a lounge with a towel and complimentary bottle of water. The professionalism, promptness, politeness, and willingness of the staff is what earned the 5 star rating from me.

The hotel stay checked in with me the day prior to my stay and asked what time my flight came in because they wanted to make sure my run was available soon my arrival. At 9:30 it was ready and I was allowed an early check in. The staff was extreme attentive and made sure that we knew everything about the property. They even made sure we knew how to operate all of the room controls and the shower. The food was amazing, the beach was pristine and the pool was immaculate. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'll be back!

The Setai Team provides world-class customer service and go the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. From check-in to check-out the experience was seamless, serene, and incredibly relaxing. The beach and pool facilities & service are excellent as well, and having several restaurant options on-site it extremely convenient. I look forward to returning!
