Unresponsive and irresponsible host. We arrived to the place realizing we were given the wrong room, we book for 2 bed but only get 1 bed. There is no one in the building that could help us, we texted, no response. After getting someone on the phone, we were told the issues was caused by system error, and they ask us “please give us few minuets to check with the team”. We waited more than 2 hours to get the response “we do not have any other units, we are fully booked :( “ No suggestions or any support were provided. They ask us to waited 2 hr for noting. At that time it was getting dark and we are stuck with a room that won’t fit our party. And I don’t understand why it took them 2 hr just to check if their room is booked. After realizing we can’t get the room we booked for, we requested for a refund so we can go to a different hotel that has rooms that will fit our group, and get the response “I will be checking further on this” from the host. And this time, we never get a response after that, till the next day, “I just wanted to make sure everything was okay with your first night in the room.” Lol, I understand system has issues, and that’s fine. But the hostel makes no effort to resolve the issue, other then pretending it don’t exists and wasting our time waiting for them to “check with team” but no solution, is unacceptable.

So far it has been fine.We have a premium studio that comes with pretty much what you need. The virtual desk assistance was quite helpful when we called regarding getting the password info and getting help with the noise that came from room above us. We stayed on the first floor AND we could hear heavy walking, furniture rearraging AND even the smoke detector that must've gone off. Not sure ALL guests think about how loud everything sounds when your room is just below them. :/ Only one washing machine works per the work staff who pointed us in the direction of the laundry area. The location,though,is SO convenient! Bus/trolley stops just 2 blocks over.

One of the best hostels I've had the pleasure of staying at. It is thoughtfully designed, clean, and with ample shelf space and free automated lockers in the rooms. They also have great deals for nightlife outings. And there is a bar and restaurant (delicious tacos) in-house. The staff is quite courteous. I recommend this place to all of my friends visiting Miami Beach.

Last year i had a trip to Miami with my friends. We found out about this hostel after watching Russian Program “Орел и Решка” ( Try to toss the coin) Everything was exactly as was showed on that program. They have rooms for ladies, men and mixed. We decided to stay in mix. There were 5 of us. We had a room with 8 beds. Our room had a restroom and a small kitchen area inside. Mattresses were brand new and very comfortable, also they have safes for all guests. Stuff was very helpful and kind. Very good price for the comfortable accommodation and complimentary breakfast was included too🤩🤩 location is very good, it’s about 10 minutes walking distance from the beach 🏖 We really enjoyed staying at the hostel and definitely recommend it! 👍🏻

The rooms are really spacious with a lot of space to put your personal things. It is awesome that is each dorm has its own bathroom. It is a great location so close to the beach. Plus the staff are super friendly and the breakfast was awesome. I genuinely like the whole experience.

I really enjoyed Rock Hostel. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast isn't fancy, but it was perfect for me. The bunks are pretty solid- not a whole lot of wiggling from movement of your bunk mate. Mattresses and pillows are ok- about what I expected. AC unit in the room. I liked the personal outlet and reading light in every bunk. Nice kitchen/dining area to cook and/or eat. The location is great, and there are lots of nearby bus and trolley stops to get around if metro transit is your thing. Great for solo travelers or for a place to lay your head at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place to stay for singles. Most attractive thing is its location. Its hardly 100 meter from south beach. They offer complementary breakfast and its nice. A room accommodate 10 beds and have only single washroom. That's the single thing, I found negative. But I dint face trouble as I use to wake up early. They may accommodate girls-boys in single room. They provide a large kitchen with fridge, oven, gas stove and some utensils. You can cook her. Moreover they also have snooker table. They provide laundry room as well. It has wifi also.

I used to stay here several times and really enjoyed myself every single time. :) Great people, great vibes, great location. Clean and quiet at night (stayed in a 6 bed dorm on the first floor), beach and plenty of food options right there. Awesome management and staff! :)

Room was not clean, had bugs and smelled of mold. There was old food bits and lots of sand on the floor, someone else’s hair and more sand in the bed, and the shower hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. The worst was the smell and the bugs though, there is a mold problem somewhere and the bugs are thriving because of it. When we reported all of this to management, they reported the room was “properly cleaned”. When we provided videos of the issues, they stopped responding. They did offer to clean the room - that would have fixed 5% of the issues. The noise was another issue - Collins is a LOUD street. People rev their engines until 3am, at 4:30 a jet-powered street cleaner came by causing others in the area to yell at the city staff. The windows are single pane, it’s like you’re sleeping with them wide open, you hear everything. Location is central to tourist attractions.

The location is perfect but not happy with the quality of rooms and service.

One of the worst hostels I have ever been to. Staff is rude and impolite. That was the biggest turn off. Beds were uncomfortable. Every time the person on the lower bunk moved, the whole bed would wobble. You can hear people from the streets talk and yell all night long. Bathrooms were dirty. The only good thing was the location & price. Do yourself a favour and look for another hostel or hotel.

Together with Booking they scammed me money from my reservation in 2020, I have sent emails, called by phone and I have NEVER had an answer, I do not recommend it at all

Nice, clean rooms, quick responses via email and calls, helpful staff. I will also add that there is no front desk, but thankfully no problems occurred. Fantastic location, surprisingly quiet, and one block from the ocean. Will stay again!

I can't believe how clean this place was! I was in a 10 bed female room and the house keeping crew will come by twice a day to give the whole room (bathroom included) a fix. The front desk team is also extremely helpful and polite, thank you Jeje, Ignacio and George! Breakfast was also good and various for the price. Very satisfied for the money I paid, will definitely recommend!

Would have preferred the back where the noise level was less. But we did have a good day. Cece gave me a work out. L O L

HORRIBLE!!! NO 1800# TO CONTACT ANYONE FOR FRESH LINEN, TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH, HAIR ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR!!! THE TRENCHES IS WHAT THIS SHOULD BE CALLED!!

Location is great but the apartment is very old, not so clean, furnitures are broken, old and dirty. The kitchen has no a kettle to boil water for tea and coffee. The bed and bed sheets are very cheap and not comfortable.

Great place to stay and it’s close to a lot of great restaurants! Our rooms were clean and spacious! The beach is only 1 block away, which we liked a lot.
