Was
not
entirely
pleased
with
my
stay
given
how
much
I
paid
for.
Hotels
up
the
street
run
the
same
price
(roughly)
and
are
way
nicer.
Pros:
Close
to
the
beach
and
right
about
where
you
want
to
be
for
nights
out
on
the
town
and
days
on
the
beach.
During
my
stay
the
AC
was
cold
and
the
water
ran
hot
and
cold.
The
bedsheets
were
actually
clean
and
no
signs
of
infestations.
(At
least
in
our
room
on
the
3rd
floor)
Compliments
end
here.
Cons:
I
hope
you're
sitting
down.
The
room
was
archaic
to
say
the
least,
outdated
furniture,
beds
that
sound
like
an
earthquake
and
noises
you
can
here
from
below
you
from
other
guests.
Shockingly,
I
counted
at
least
2
other
occupants
who
were
there
during
the
time
of
my
stay
on
a
Saturday
night
throughout
the
whole
building.
And
even
then
you
could
here
anyone
coming
up
the
stairs
and
the
halls,
you
could
hear
people
downstairs
(we
were
on
the
3rd
floor)
The
plaster
on
the
wall
is
decaying,
the
buildings
on
opposite
sides
are
shuttered
and
the
amount
of
homeless
loiterers
were
innumerable
either
directly
out
front
or
right
next
door.
In
the
stairwell
there
are
exposed
wires
with
a
small
desk
fan
that
appears
to
be
on
to
keep
them
cool.
As
a
firefighter
that
was
my
first
major
red
flag
as
well
as
someone
already
asking
for
a
refund
upon
check
in.
Another
red
flag.
I
did
not
bother
to
turn
on
the
television
but
based
upon
the
totality
of
the
other
circumstances
I
would
not
be
too
eager
to
expect
good
cable
or
channels.
The
most
modern
item
in
the
room
is
the
mini
fridge,
that
was
cold
during
our
stay.
Summary:
The
building
is
archaic,
I
wouldnt
say
in
shambles
but
not
at
all
up
to
modern
hotel
standards.
There
are
no
good
views
as
far
as
I'm
aware,
and
the
furnishings
and
other
items
are
40
years
outdated.
Will
not
be
returning
to
this
location.
I
suggest
you
head
the
innumerable
warnings
from
the
other
reviews.
2
stars
because
I
have
seen
worse
and
it
was
an
'operable'
base
of
operations
during
my
stay
in
Miami.
