Terribly slow service, forced 18% gratuity for this terrible service and the restaurant itself was kind of gross. I sat inside and was shooing away flies the entire time. The table was dirty when I sat down. It was musty and warm, I can’t imagine it in the summer time. The food was just alright. I also spent most of my time searching for a waiter to bring us water, the check, or silverware. So that made it worse. They added a gratuity for their terrible service and when they swiped my card, had I not paid attention to my receipt, it would have been very easy to overlook and double tip. Will not be back, would not recommend.

Prepared to be amazed. Very authentic French food. The crepes are the best we have tried in town. The menu has plates that we haven’t seen at other French places. We will come back to try the others. The service is great too, happy hour ends at 7:00 pm even on Saturday. The location is passed the busy part of española way so is quiet .

Very cute hidden gem in South Beach for some great French food. This place seems always to be busy - the magic that happens there is in a tiny kitchen and so many customers! The food was amazing. Our mimosas were great. The only reason no 5 stars - service was not all that. You wait for literally everything - including someone to attend to you. At the end, they include a gratuity on your check, which is cool, but maybe not always fair if you don’t get the best service. Come here during the week when it isn’t as busy. Otherwise, you will wait. However, food is worth it. The caramel crepes, the charcuterie platter - absolutely amazing.

We loved this place!! The coffee was good, the menu was reasonably priced, the food was so tasty. They are very busy, which makes it feel authentic… however, if you are in a hurry, you may want to save this place for when you can savor your time and meal. It’s worth the wait! For all those who complain about the added gratuity… all of Miami Beach has that.

Love love LOVE this place!! It doesn't matter what you get, it's all yummy. The tartiflette is my fav. Super friendly and inclusive space. Gewurtztraminer was decent, flaming Crepe Suzette was delish. Last pic is my cat, who had surgery recently. But he is very sweet.

This place is always on my top 5 in Miami. One of the best restaurant and hidden gem on Española way. Very romantic, quaint, charming, great food. Service could be really good or mediocre, depending of the server, but I love the food, ambience specially the nights that they have live music. I went for third time and I tried the onion soup, scargots with cheese, WOW. And the lava cake is one of the best that I tried ever.

I freaking love a high quality French restaurant. Visiting Paris is one of the greatest food experiences of my life so anything that comes close to that is going to be a strong recommendation. Escargot was perfect but the beef tartare was a little lacking to be honest. The flavors were all fantastic. And having buckwheat options for my gluten free wife was exciting for us to find, especially since it seems south beach is lacking in GF options - we still were unable to find gluten free pancakes anywhere within Miami Beach. The Normandy cider was also great btw.

I fell in love with this little cafe on Espanola Way. The absolute best Crepe I've ever had!!! If you are a local, shame on you if you've never visited, and if you are a visitor, don't leave Miami without the experience! Thank me later. 😌

So lovely! We came here for brunch and ordered a latte, crapes and a salad. The watermelon goat cheese salad was perfect, nice and light. I love that their crêpes are gluten and lactose free, it is really hard to find dairy free crapes and this one was delicious and did not make my stomach hurt! It has such a cute European ambience on Espanola Way. They don’t take reservations so go early if you don’t want to wait!

Food is good! Service is a little slow just like if it was in Paris! Escargot is delicious!!!!! French onion soup on point! Cute place perfect for a date! Just be ready to sit outside, not enough indoor seats!

As someone who is on a constany lookout for a 10/10 crepe, I’d say this one is very close to a 10. I did not have any expectations but I actually loved it. Aside from food, it’s at a very nice location and you want to sit there and just enjoy the atmosphere:)

I had the most delicious food of my life here. It was a little pot of eggs, salmon and goat cheese 🤤 I have no idea what they put in there, maybe a pound of butter 😂 but it was one of the most delicious meals of my life. I was sad they were out of almond croissants (which is my favorite food) but we arrived very late, so it makes sense. And I'm actually grateful because I wouldn't have ordered the pot of eggs. Definitely try it! You won't regret it!!

À la Folie Café serves as a charming little slice of France nestled in Miami South Beach, offering a delightful culinary experience marred slightly by minor service issues. Pros - The ambiance mimics a quintessential French café, instantly whisking you off to the charming streets of Paris. - Clean and tidy interiors make the café a pleasant place to dine in. - The food, particularly the Croque Monsieur crepe, is delicious and authentically French, living up to its reputation. - Despite the bustling locale, the prices remain reasonable, making it great value for money. Cons - Customer service could be improved. It wasn't immediately clear whether it was table service, and we received no greeting upon entry despite visible staff availability. - Service time could be improved. It took a while for us to get served initially. - The Dijonaisse Chicken Crepe was a bit on the dry side, although it was still tasty. Overall, a visit to À la Folie Café is a pleasurable experience and definitely worth the occasional service hiccup

Perfect breakfast/lunch place Two ham and cheese croissants and two coffees were just $36, but delicious. Coming back for crepes for sure!

Great atmosphere and delicious food! Baguette is great, French onion soup is one of the best outside of the France, the croissants are great and the coffee is delicious. I would definitely recommend

The gluten free buckwheat crepe is something to try out. The hot cocoa is very authentic and a must try.

We had a great brunch here. The bacon was incredible 🥓 and the size of the coffee is as big as it is delicious ☕️ It’s small inside so it was important to arrive early to get a table. It does have tables outside but inconvenient when raining.

Just randomly popped in here and so thankful I did. Excellent food, great service and felt like a little French Cafe in Miami. Delicious!!!

A little piece of France in Miami. I love French food but being Mexican, always need a spicy kick. Every French place I’ve been to only stocks Tabasco, not a great French food complement. This place has a delicious, perfectly spicy chili oil they make in house. I NEED the recipe. Portions adequate- not monstrously American. In typical French fashion, service is slow compared to American; they’re not anxious to get you out. Sit, savor your food, why rush?

Basically perfection! I love the location so much (tucked away on a quiet part of Española Way… but the food is even better. Their crepes are fantastic— last weekend I had a citron-sucre crepe (yum!). I’ve eaten many crepes in New York and Paris, but none better than this. They’re authentic and delicious. Highly recommend this place!

My friends suggested this place for our last day in Miami. The food is French cafe style, my husband had a cordon blue style savory crepe, and I had a croque madame sandwich. All was good, the croquet madame was on a baguette as opposed to a brioche, but it was good. The only critique is that the food for four people took 45 minutes and they brought my husband the wrong crepe initially. They quickly within 5 minutes rectified the crepe situation, but was unclear why it took so long to make the food the first time and only 5 minutes to fix it. Most of the servers also had a sort of "I can't be bothered attitude." Regardless, it's a quaint place and the food is good, worth a try regardless.

Excellent and authentic galette that is on par with what you could find in France. The salad was fresh and the French onion soup was one of the best we’ve had in the US. If you’re looking to have a cozy brunch in South Beach that isn’t your boring eggs and potatoes… this is it!

The atmosphere of this place is great, they have a cool french antique vibe. We got one sweet and one savory crepe. Although the sweet one was a hit, the savory one failed completely with rock hard prosciutto. They happily replaced it and we ordered a cheesy option with an overload of brie. The coffee was good and the staff was friendly. I think you could find a better brunch spot.

A small French restaurant on Española way. You get to pick your table, either indoor or outdoor facing the quiet road. There are a variety of salad, sandwiches and other French things. I had a steak sandwich and it was very good. The only con of this place is that it is not kid friendly so better for an older crowd (not families with young kids). No high chairs or kids menu. We managed anyway. Staff was friendly.

Crepes tasted good but the cheese in the crepes were too thick and not melted. Portion sizes were decent and price was reasonable. Service was okay but restaurant was not the cleanest.
