I
decided
to
check
out
this
place
based
on
all
the
buzz
it's
been
receiving
on
social
media.
Located
somewhat
discreetly
off
Collins
Avenue
and
10th
Street
in
Miami,
it's
connected
to
Essex
House
by
Clevelander.
Upon
arrival,
I
noticed
a
lovely
outdoor
area
for
the
restaurant,
which
was
quite
spacious
and
tastefully
decorated.
The
standout
feature
was
undoubtedly
the
massive
Bacon
B*tch
logo
against
the
wall,
surrounded
by
lush
greenery
and
leaves.
However,
I
have
to
say
that
the
place
was
way
more
crowded
than
I
had
anticipated.
When
I
inquired
with
the
hostess,
she
assured
me
there
was
no
wait
time,
and
for
a
Saturday
morning,
it
wasn't
considered
particularly
busy.
But
to
my
surprise,
everyone
seemed
to
be
jostling
for
space,
both
inside
while
placing
orders
and
outside
to
secure
tables.
There
was
even
a
considerable
line
extending
inside
the
restaurant.
It's
worth
noting
that
there
is
no
indoor
seating
available,
and
this
caused
some
congestion.
Another
aspect
that
was
a
bit
frustrating
was
that
you
could
only
place
takeout
orders
indoors
and
not
at
the
front
desk
with
the
other
staff
outside.
This
was
particularly
inconvenient
for
those
who
wanted
a
quick
grab-and-go
option.
Despite
the
initial
chaos,
I
decided
to
brave
the
crowds
and
head
inside.
Once
at
the
counter,
I
encountered
difficulty
hearing
the
staff
member
taking
orders
due
to
the
noise
and
commotion.
I
was
handed
a
menu,
but
it
was
challenging
to
peruse
it
properly
because
of
the
crowded
conditions.
In
the
end,
I
placed
my
order
somewhat
reluctantly,
and
it
took
a
rather
lengthy
20-25
minutes
to
be
ready.
I
ordered
what
I
thought
was
a
bacon,
egg,
and
cheese
sandwich,
but
I
realized
it
was
a
chicken
bacon
sandwich
when
I
got
to
my
car,
several
blocks
away.
At
that
point,
I
didn't
want
to
navigate
my
way
back
through
the
crowd
just
to
exchange
it,
so
I
went
with
it.
Unfortunately,
the
chicken
and
bacon
turned
out
to
be
quite
chewy,
the
bread
was
average,
and
it
had
honey
mustard,
which
isn't
my
favorite.
Overall,
I
wasn't
impressed
with
the
sandwich,
especially
considering
its
price
point
at
$15.39.
In
my
opinion,
it
wasn't
a
good
value
for
money,
even
in
Miami.
I
might
consider
returning,
but
it
would
definitely
be
on
a
less
crowded
weekday
when
I
can
take
my
time
to
carefully
review
the
menu.
